Kids Write Obama on Abortion…Too Bad He Doesn’t View the Political Opinions of All Children Equally
I’m getting sick and tired of the Obama administration using children selectively in order to help the president advocate his public policy positions. As I sat and watched his recent press conference, I finally understood his opposition to the Iraq War. It seems he and the late President Hussein are kindred spirits who share more than just a name. They share a sick penchant for using children as human shields in the middle of war. And make no mistake about it; America is currently at war with itself on many different fronts. As I sat and watched Obama surrounded by little human political shields, three things struck me as being especially hypocritical:
1. Just a few years ago, the president would have supported murdering all of those children by dismemberment.
2. The president would have classified their dismemberment as “health care” within a comprehensive reform package necessary to preserve the well-being of children, and finally
3. All the children at the press conference were protected from being murdered at that particular moment by government agents carrying concealed weapons.
But it got worse as the day went on. ABC News and other outlets began circulating letters written to Obama by children wishing to weigh in on current public policy debates. That’s normal, of course. Children always weigh in on public policy debates without being prodded by liberal parents who never left childhood themselves. And everyone knows it makes sense to base public policy decisions on the recommendations of children.

Cruz: Obama 'Exploiting The Murder of Children' By: Stephen Feller
Republican Sen. Ted Cruz said President Barack Obama is “exploiting the murder of children” to push an extreme anti-gun agenda that much of the country opposes. Cruz told Laura Ingraham on her radio show that Obama was “high on his own power,” and that Democrats overall would pay a political price for the president’s crackdown on citizens that have not broken laws and are only exercising their constitutional rights. "He is feeling right now high on his own power, and he is pushing on every front, on guns," Cruz said. "And I think it's really sad to see the president of the United States exploiting the murder of children and using it to push his own extreme, anti-gun agenda.  “I think what the president is proposing and the gun control proposals that are coming from Democrats in the Senate are, number one, unconstitutional, and number two, they don't work. They're bad policy." Cruz said that the Democrats he has seen on television in recent weeks, “a bunch of rich, Northeastern liberals who don’t own guns [and] don’t know anybody who owns guns” are making a big mistake that will be paid for by voters in red states in the 2014 midterm elections. “There have got to be some Democrats who are up for reelection in 2014 who are very, very nervous right now that President Obama is picking this fight,” Cruz said. “The citizens of their states are not interested in the federal government banning gun ownership for law-abiding citizens. That’s part of what this does, is ban certain categories of weapons being owned by people who have never broken the law.”

Want to Get Shot? Move to a Democratic City That Has The Strictest Gun Laws.
Forget Wal-Mart and skip your local gun show. The murderers of tomorrow will not be found wearing orange vests at your local sporting goods store. They won’t have NRA memberships or trophies on their walls. You won’t find them in America. Look for them in Obamerica. 67% of firearm murders took place in the country’s 50 largest metro areas. The 62 cities in those metro areas have a firearm murder rate of 9.7, more than twice the national average. Among teenagers the firearm murder rate is 14.6 or almost three times the national average. Those are the crowded cities of Obamerica. Those are the places with the most restrictive gun control laws and the highest crime rates. And many of them have been run by Democrats and their political machines for almost as long as they have been broken. Obama won every major city in the election, except for Jacksonville and Salt Lake City. And the higher the death rate, the bigger his victory.

New Report Condemns Obama, State Dept On Actions Before And After The Attack In Benghazi
Government watchdog Judicial Watch released a report Tuesday criticizing the State Department’s and President Barack Obama’s actions both before and after the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in which United States Amb. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed. “The September 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi resulted from a wide range of strategic and tactical failures by State Department officials,” according to the report. “Chief among them was the fateful decision to circumvent established security regulations by designating the diplomatic post in Benghazi a ‘Special Mission Compound,’ ignoring repeated requests for additional security resources by Diplomatic Security personnel on the ground.” The report also criticized the State Department for being “well aware of the escalating violence in Benghazi and the political threat it posed to the U.S mission there.”

Hillary Clinton: Habitual Liar By DAN CALABRESE

I’ve decided to reprint a piece of work I did nearly five years ago, because it seems very relevant today given Hillary Clinton’s performance in the Benghazi hearings. Back in 2008 when she was running for president, I interviewed two erstwhile staff members of the House Judiciary Committee who were involved with the Watergate investigation when Hillary was a low-level staffer there. I interviewed one Democrat staffer and one Republican staffer, and wrote two pieces based on what they told me about Hillary’s conduct at the time. I published these pieces back in 2008 for North Star Writers Group, the syndicate I ran at the time. This was the most widely read piece we ever had at NSWG, but because NSWG never gained the high-profile status of the major syndicates, this piece still didn’t reach as many people as I thought it deserved to. Today, given the much broader reach of CainTV and yet another incidence of Hillary’s arrogance in dealing with a congressional committee, I think it deserves another airing. For the purposes of simplicity, I’ve combined the two pieces into one very long one. If you’re interested in understanding the true character of Hillary Clinton, it’s worth your time to read it. As Hillary Clinton came under increasing scrutiny for her story about facing sniper fire in Bosnia, one question that arose was whether she has engaged in a pattern of lying. The now-retired general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, who supervised Hillary when she worked on the Watergate investigation, says Hillary’s history of lies and unethical behavior goes back farther – and goes much deeper – than anyone realizes.  Continue reading here.....

Clinton Has Talked to Only 1 American Benghazi Survivor in 4 Months; Talked to None in Wake of Attack By Terence P. Jeffrey
In the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, five State Department Diplomatic Security agents who were in Benghazi that day and survived the attack were evacuated from the country and taken to Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. All five had suffered from smoke inhalation, and one was seriously wounded. Under questioning from Sen. Ron Johnson (R.-Wis.) in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton revealed that she has spoken to only one of the American survivors who was evacuated from Libya after the Benghazi attack. Presumably, this was one of the five Diplomatic Security officers who fought off the terrorists at the State Department's Benghazi Special Mission Compound on Sept. 11 and who lived to be able to report as eyewitnesses about what had happened there that day. The Obama administration has not yet publicly named a single one of these five surviving State Department heroes. In fact, the only American witnesses to the Benghazi attack who have been named by the Obama administration are the four whom the terrorists killed--Amb. Chris Stevens, State Department Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, who were working for the CIA, not for Clinton's State Department. Clinton also claimed in her exchange with Sen. Johnson that it would have been inappropriate for her to talk to the surviving State Department officials--who worked for her, and who had been deployed to Benghazi under her authority--until they had been interrogated by the FBI. Because Clinton testified that she has only talked to one of the survivors, she could not possibly have even personally thanked--let alone heard the eyewitness accounts of--four of the five Diplomatic Security officers who put their lives on the line to protect Amb. Stevens and the U.S. facility in Benghazi.

Clinton Blames Congress – Not Herself – for Benghazi
During Senate testimony this today, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton implied that lack of funding for the State Department was a contributor to the deadliness of the Benghazi terrorist attack in Sept. 2012. Senator Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) provided her an opportunity to do this by asking her whether it was reasonable to expect anything but trouble if Congress did not fund the State Department’s security needs.
Clinton ran with Durbin’s premise and pointed out “deficiencies” and “inadequacies” within the department. She said she has spent the last four years “doing what [she] could” to encourage State Dept. officials “to do as much as they could with what they had.” She said the State Department knew it was never going to reach “parity with the Defense Department,” and the implication was obvious–Benghazi was at least partially due to a lack of funding. And we are all foolish enough to believe that?  In face of the known facts?

Obama concedes: Obamacare didn’t do anything for rising health care costs
It started out with such high hopes:
“I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family’s premium by up to $2,500 a year.”
That was on the trail in 2008, an audacious promise Politifact ruled flatly “Broken.” Obama repeated the promises of lower premiums and bent cost curves as a central part of his pitch in passing the health care law. It is called “The Affordable Care Act.” But most supporters of Obamacare have stopped talking about cost savings and started focusing on increased benefits, acknowledging (sometimes explicitly and sometimes implicitly) that expanded coverage and more benefits will actually cost more money, not less, but that the trade-off is worth it.  President Obama joined that crowd in his second Inaugural address Monday.

Obama Picks Another Left-Wing Extremist to Advisory Post by Dave Jolly
A year ago, President Barack Obama met with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.  An open microphone picked up a conversation that Obama never wanted anyone in the United States to hear.
Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him [Putin] to give me space.”
Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you…”
Obama: “This is my last election,” President Obama said. “After my election, I have more flexibility.”
Medvedev: “I understand. I transmit this information to Vladimir.”
That election is over and now we are seeing the blatant disregard for the Constitution and the people of the United States being put forth by a power hunger president.  Without having to worry about another election, Obama feels he is free to push his left-wing socialist agenda even harder than he did during his first term. Part of that agenda is to surround himself with more left-wing liberals than he did during his first term.  One of new advisors is a French national by the name of Esther Duflo.  Duflo was born and educated in France through her master’s degree and then she obtained her doctorate in economics from MIT.  She is now the co-founder and director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab that specializes in dealing with eradicating poverty through the world.  Duflo also works as a Professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development Economics at MIT. Among her economic views on poverty is her belief in the redistribution of wealth. I like to call this Robin Hood economics where the government and the United Nations want to steal from the wealthy and give it to the poor.  They advocate taking the money that many men and women have worked long and hard to earn and just give it to the poor who don’t do anything to earn or deserve it.  Another way of putting it is to penalize those that work and become successful and reward those that are lazy and sit on their butts and wait for government handouts.

Let’s Do The Math: How Long Could the Super-Rich Fund the Entitlement State?
The average net worth of the 400 wealthiest Americans rose to a record $4.2 billion in 2012, according to the Fortune 400. (Seven in ten of the list’s members made their fortunes from scratch.)
Since liberals have been asking for the ’1 percenters’ to pay their ‘fair share’, what would happen if we just seized the assets of these super-rich elites to pay down the national debt? Considering the U.S. deficit is $4 billion a day and the national debt is growing, we better get started…“It’s fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.” — Bill Gates. Microsoft braniac and nerd guru is worth $66 billion — more than any other American citizen. Grab his stash, and we cover the deficit for 16.5 days… or a little over two weeks.  I could end the deficit in five minutes. You just pass a law that says that any time there’s a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, now you’ve got the incentives in the right place, right?” — Warren Buffett  The sage of Omaha weighs in at a not-too-shabby $46 billion. Time to get taxed more than your secretary, Warren. Your pile of cash funds the government for 11.5 days. Next!

Ralph Reed to Newsmax: Liberalism Has Trumped 'Sound Military Practice' By: David A. Patten
Conservative leader Ralph Reed, the chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, told Newsmax on Wednesday that the Obama administration’s decision to drop the ban on women in combat shows “liberal social policy has trumped sound military practice.” Democrats are touting the move as a way to open up hundreds of thousands of new job opportunities for women. Reed emphasized that “full equality for women in the workforce is a goal we all share.” But he added the administration should consider other priorities as well. “While we generally defer to the Pentagon when it comes to military matters,” Reed said in a statement, “putting women in combat situations is the latest in a series of moves where political correctness and liberal social policy have trumped sound military practice.” He added that “combat presents unique and mitigating challenges and requirements, and combat readiness must always be the first priority for the military.”

Liberals Make Gun Debate About Race Rush Limbaugh
RUSH: Sixty-five percent of Americans — two out of three — in a Rasmussen survey recognize that their constitutional right to own a gun was intended to ensure their freedom, that it’s not about hunting. Sixty-five percent see gun rights as protection against tyranny. Now, I know many of you wish that 65% were higher. Right now, given where we are elsewhere, I will take that number. I’ll take it. That is a number that’s not gonna sit well with the Democrats and the media after all of the attention that guns and the Second Amendment have received, with all of the literally living-in-a-different-world comments from people like Bob Schieffer and Tom Brokaw. What was it, Schieffer compared taking out the NRA to taking out Hitler! Tom Brokaw, the anchor emeritus at NBC News, has compared getting rid of the Second Amendment to the Civil Rights Act of 1965. I swear, these people get attached to stories. I’m gonna tell you right now: What happened with Dr. King and the Civil Rights Act and the marches in the sixties is still perhaps, for certain-aged media people, the most formative experience in their professional lives, and everything gets related back to that. As far as Brokaw’s concerned, we’re still living in the sixties, and we’re still dealing with Selma. “Sel-muh!”

National ‘Assault Weapon’ Ban Includes Handguns and Shotguns
Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s office confirmed that she will be introducing in the Senate Thursday a new version of the so-called assault weapon ban. A spokesman said the full text will be released at a press conference on Thursday. The California Democrat intends to expand on the ban that expired in 2004, by including handguns and shotguns, in addition to rifles. She would decrease from two to one the number of cosmetic features on a gun to have it be considered an “assault weapon.” This means that if a gun has just one item like a pistol grip or bayonet lug, then it is illegal. Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed into law the same ban in New York last week. Furthermore, instead of grandfathering in current firearms, she would create a national gun registry for the government to track lawful gun owners. Magazines would again be limited to 10 rounds.

Coroner Confirms: No Assault Weapon Used in Sandy Hook Shooting
An AR-15, or the so-called “Assault Weapon”, was not used in the school shooting. The shooter even tried weeks earlier to buy a rifle but was turned down in the background check. So he had to kill his Mother to steal her rifle. There were initial reports, right after the shooting, that police found the AR-15 in his car, NOT IN THE SCHOOL. The rifle was not used. The shooter went into the school with 4 handguns, NOT an Assault Rifle as the media has charged. In the initial hours of this shooting, the Police said they found the rifle in the car. But the Administration-controlled MSM had a pre-planned attack already waiting, to ban so-called assault weapons and jumped on that line of reporting, knowing it was a lie, which included people like Piers Morgan who said the shooter used an AR-15 that shoots hundreds of rounds per minute, as if it were a machine gun.

North Korea Vows Nuclear Test and Threatens U.S. By CHOE SANG-HUN
SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea vowed on Thursday to launch more long-range rockets and conduct its third nuclear test, saying that it would build up its capability of striking the United States after the United Nations’s expansion of sanctions against North Korea. The North’s threat was the boldest challenge its new, untested leader, Kim Jong-un, has posed at his country’s longtime foe, the United States, and its last remaining major ally, China, and rattled governments in Northeast Asia that are undergoing sensitive transitions of power. In a statement issued through state-run media, the National Defense Commission, the North’s highest governing agency, headed by Mr. Kim, said that “a variety of satellites and long-range rockets which will be launched by the D.P.R.K. one after another and a nuclear test of higher level which will be carried out by it” will be “targeted” at “the U.S., the sworn enemy of the Korean people.” The statement, which used the acronym for the North’s official name, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, did not clarify when it would conduct such a test, which would be the first since Mr. Kim came to power after the death of his father, Kim Jong-il, in December 2011. Hey O do you think this rogue nation would make this threat under any other president?  Aren't you proud?

Debunker: Assault weapons ban bunk
In the wake of the Newtown, Conn., shooting, President Obama has called upon Congress to enact a ban on so-called “assault weapons.” Such a ban, we are told, will “save and protect lives, while reducing crime.” BUNK! The United States tried this once before. After 10 years as the law of the land, the effects of the 1994 ban on “assault weapons” were so indeterminate that a 2004 study funded by the Justice Department concluded: “Should it be renewed, the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement.” Congress permitted the ban to expire in 2004. Those who want to reintroduce the ban point out that the number of people killed by firearms during the ban declined an average of 3.93 percent per year. But firearms murders were already declining before the ban was enacted, and in fact had declined at an even greater rate—4.17 percent—the year before it went into effect.

"It should be the highest ambition of every American to extend his views beyond himself, and to bear in mind that his conduct will not only affect himself, his country, and his immediate posterity; but that its influence may be co-extensive with the world, and stamp political happiness or misery on ages yet unborn."
