Obama’s New Jobs Plan: Create a Secretary of Business?

If he gets another term, President Obama has a new plan about how to get businesses hiring again. He wants to appoint a Secretary of Business. Yes, that means creating another government position which will naturally lead to more paper work, more bureaucracy and more chaos for the country’s job creators.In an interview with MSNBC, the president said he wants to consolidate a number of business and trade-related agencies, creating a “one-stop shop” for oversight.“I’ve said that I want to consolidate a whole bunch of government agencies. We should have one secretary of Business, instead of nine different departments that are dealing with things like giving loans to SBA [the Small Business Administration] or helping companies with exports,” he said in an interview with MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough.

I just met with a high-level Democrat Party strategist who revealed to me Obama's last ditch effort to win this election -- it should disturb and alarm everyone!  With the election close, sources are telling me that Obama will take bold military action -- likely bombing two al Qaeda linked terrorist camps in Libya. There is a precedence for this -- just before the 2010 elections, the Obama administration trumped up a virtually non-existent terrorist threat regarding ink cartridges and pretended that they had saved lives in the United States. Exit polls showed that the act drove swing voters to vote Democrat and that may have been what caused Republicans some of the Senate races that could have given us a Senate majority in 2010. This election is too close to leave to chance! It is trending in our favor, but Obama can change the momentum with military action! This is an old Democrat trick -- Clinton did it as well, during his impeachment.

Obama’s “strategic partnership” with radical Islam  by Frank Camp

A year and a half passed until an election was held. On June 14th, 2012, Mohammed Morsi was declared the winner of the election, and the presidency. All of this seems good on the outset, right? A people rebelled against a corrupt government, radically changed a nation and democratically voted in a new president. Well, not so much. Unfortunately, the newly elected president, Mohammed Morsi is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Though he officially “resigned” as a member of the Brotherhood upon his election, he still holds dear their radical belief system. The Muslim Brotherhood originally stated that they would NOT run a candidate for the presidency, but later reneged. In all, the Arab spring has turned into a nightmare of massive proportions. In case you are wondering about the beliefs of the Muslim Brotherhood; this is their stated mantra: “Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.”

In June of 2009, Obama said this: “I’ve come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world — one based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap and share common principles – principles of justice, and progress, tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings.” Islam, as it is practiced by the Brotherhood, is not tolerant, nor does it share common principles with the West. With this statement, Obama is either being deliberately disingenuous or naive.

Obama Administration: UN Election Observers “Immune” to State Laws by Philip Hodges

The Obama Administration made it clear that Texas better not arrest any UN election observers. They claim these observers have full immunity, regardless of state laws. This was in response to a statement Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot issued to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) telling them that their international election-observing representatives will be subject to criminal prosecution if they are found within a hundred feet of a polling place. Reporters weren’t able to get the spokesman to confirm or deny whether the State Department was forcing Texas not to arrest UN election observers, only saying that they are “eligible for immunities.” These government officials have to leave their words as vague as possible so as to keep the national media away. If they dared be more specific or forthright, it might turn into a national story, and the Obama Administration doesn’t want any attention over this. More bowing to a one government authority by big O!

General in Benghazi Scandal Suddenly Retires by Tad Cronn

Is it payback or just shame? General Carter Ham, the combatant commander of Africa Command and a key figure in the Benghazi scandal, is retiring from the Army years short of the mandatory retirement age, according to the Washington Times.  The Washington Times over the weekend reported on an Internet posting, allegedly based on an inside source at the Pentagon, that Ham had wanted to send in troops to rescue the personnel at the U.S. mission in Benghazi, but he was ordered to stand down. According to the story being circulated, Ham defied his orders and tried to send in his team, but within a minute of giving the order to his troops to rescue the Americans at the U.S. mission, his second in command relieved Ham of duty and arrested him. So far, there is no corroboration of the story, but it would fit Ham’s sudden departure from AFRICOM and his unexpected retirement.

Armed Services Chair Demands of Obama: Whom Did You Order to Do What on 9/11/12? By Fred Lucas

In light of President Obama's statement in an Oct. 26 interview that the "minute" he found out about the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11 he issued a directive to subordinates "to make sure we are securing our personnel," House Armed Services Chairman Buck McKeon (R-Calif.) has sent a letter to Obama demanding that he reveal exactly whom he ordered to do what on that day. “Although this response did not specifically answer the reporter’s question, your first directive would appear to involve potential actions by the U.S. military,” McKeon said in a letter sent to Obama on Monday. “Since you personally provided this directive, I have a series of additional questions that I am confident you can answer in advance of the conclusion of any formal investigation.”

AUTO BAILOUT BOMBSHELL: Fiat Says Chrysler, Jeep Production May Move to Italy by Mark Modica

Coming hot on the heels of speculation that some Jeep production may be moved to China comes a bombshell from a Bloomberg report. Fiat is now considering moving Chrysler and Jeep production to Italy.

According to the piece, "To counter the severe slump in European sales, (Fiat CEO Sergio) Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat. Marchionne may announce details of his plan as soon as Oct. 30, the people said. "So, let's be real clear here, we are talking about vehicles that will be built in Italy and exported to America. The evidence is clear that Fiat is looking at ways to move production of vehicles from the US to elsewhere, whether it be China or Italy, costing American jobs. This is becoming indisputable, despite outcries from certain parties to the contrary. Mitt Romney has rightfully criticized the Obama Administration for handing over Chrysler to the Italians and now leaving the fate of American workers in the hands of Fiat management. Fiat is not a healthy company and the auto industry is in as great a risk as ever. The insistence that all is well by those with political motivations does not mask the danger. More jobs are at risk of being lost and more taxpayer money may be lost as well. Let's face it, the auto bailouts were not well thought out. Perhaps General Motors' CEO, Dan Akerson, said it best when he said, "The good thing about our bankruptcy is that it took only 39 days. The bad news is that bankruptcy took only 39 days. If we had been there longer, people would have asked these questions and looked at these things."

‘Osama bin Laden’ Donates To Obama Campaign by Tim Brown

OK, to tell the truth the real Osama bin Laden did not make the donations. They were actually made by staffers at WorldNetDaily. They even listed their occupation as “deceased terror chief” and employer as “al-Qaida.” The name “bin Laden” is also set up on the official campaign site so that more contributions can be made and also is registered as a volunteer. Since making the donations, the email address associated with the registration has also received numerous email requests from the Obama campaign for more donations. Of course, as I have previously pointed out, it is illegal to accept foreign contributions under U.S. campaign finance law, but hey, when has the law gotten in the way of the current occupant of the White House? The two donations that were submitted were to test the system. The first was to see if the donation would go through. The second was to make sure that the first donation was not simply an oversight. In both instances confirmation was received of the donation. The email used, osama4obama2012@gmail.com, not only received confirmation, but also a coupon to take 10% off a purchase in the Obama online store of $10 or more. This is not just entering phony information to get the transaction to take as in the previous article. The staffers specifically used a Pakistani IP address.

Desperation & Delusional : Cutter Dismisses DMR Endorsement as “Not Based in Reality”

Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter on Sunday dismissed the Des Moines Register endorsement of GOP candidate Mitt Romney, saying it was not “based at all in reality.” “They endorsed Mitt Romney in the primary, so this was not much of a surprise,” said Cutter on ABC’s “This Week” of the influential swing-state paper’s backing for President Obama’s challenger. “It was a little surprising to read that editorial, because it didn’t seem to be based at all in reality, not just in the president’s record, but in Mitt Romney’s record,” Cutter added. “It says that he’d reach across the aisle, which he’d do the exact opposite. It’s the exact opposite of what he did in Massachusetts.” Romney on late Saturday received the endorsement of the Des Moines Register, Iowa’s largest newspaper.

Facebook Censors Navy SEALS to Protect Obama on Benghazi by Beitbart

Over the weekend, Facebook took down a message by the Special Operations Speaks PAC (SOS) which highlighted the fact that Obama denied backup to the forces being overrun in Benghazi.

The message was contained in a meme which demonstrated how Obama had relied on the SEALS when he was ready to let them get Osama bin Laden, and how he had turned around and denied them when they called for backup on Sept 11. I spoke with Larry Ward, president of Political Media, Inc — the media company that handles SOS postings and media production. Ward was the one who personally put the Navy SEAL meme up, and the one who received the warning from Facebook and an eventual 24 hour suspension from Facebook  because Ward put the meme back up after Facebook told him to take it down.  Here’s what Ward told me:

We created and posted this meme on Saturday after news broke that Obama had known and denied SEALS the backup they requested.

Once the meme was up it garnered 30,000 shares, approx. 24,000 likes, and was read by hundreds of thousands of people — all within 24 hrs. On Sunday, I went into the SOS Facebook page to post something else and found a warning from Facebook that we had violated Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities with our meme. So I copied the warning, put it on the meme as as caption, and re-posted the meme to the Facebook page.

No Bible Reading in a HUD-Funded Building by Gary North

Some bureaucrat who polices a retirement center that was built with HUD funding is making sure there is no public Bible reading going on. She told Ruth Sweats to stop reading her Bible and discussing it with another resident. To read the Bible and then discuss it — yes, my friends, actually discuss it . . . in full public view! — is a violation of the separation of church and state. So says the bureaucrat. Religious speech is allowed in private rooms, but not the commons area. So said the bureaucrat. Mrs. Sweats contacted a public interest law organization to send this bureaucrat’s employer a letter, which the firm did.

The social worker reportedly said that since the non-profit complex receives federal funding, Sweats “did not have First Amendment rights because HUD does not allow religious discussions in public areas of the complex,” reported Todd Starnes of Fox News.  This human interest story was not picked up by the mainstream media. It is all over the blogosphere.

Republicans turned up the heat on the Obama administration Sunday, pressing for answers about its handling – at the time and since – of last month’s terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Already politically explosive, the controversy over the September 11 attack on the Libyan mission deepened last week with the emergence of an apparent contradiction between President Obama and his defense secretary concerning the immediate security response. “There are two things people are talking about,” Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said on CNN’s State of the Union. “They’re talking about the economy, and they’re talking about what happened in Benghazi.” “Either the president didn’t give the directive or the president isn’t being truthful – or perhaps Leon Panetta acted as commander in chief,” he said. “That’s what – this is the subject right now that people are talking about, and the economy.” On Fox News Sunday, Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson said that while visiting GOP centers in the battleground state, “particularly yesterday, this issue of Benghazi is really bubbling up. Are Americans Finally Seeing the True Obama Presidency? by Giacomo

With only eight days before the elections, it seems that Americans are waking up and seeing the real President Barack Obama.  His ratings are falling as are his standings in a number of the polls. Last week, Obama’s job approval ratings fell seven points in a short three day span.  On Oct. 23, his job approval ratings according to Gallup were at 53%.  It dropped to 51% on the 24^th, then down to 48% on the 25^th and further down to 46% on the 26^th. It seems the only thing Obama has accomplished last week, other than campaigning, was to lie about the terrorist attack on Benghazi and to re-iterate that he is holding all of America as hostages on the tax cuts.  Obama, who constantly says that they tried so hard to sit down with Republicans to work out compromises, has emphatically stated that he will veto any tax cut legislation that does not meet his requirements.  This is Obamas form of compromise – everyone has to compromise to his way of doing things, but not vice versa.

Yes, there are people who support the Democrats for other reasons, but they’ve joined a bloody political religion.

New Projection of Election Results: Romney 52, Obama 47  By FRED BARNES

The bipartisan Battleground Poll, in its “vote election model,” is projecting that Mitt Romney will defeat President Obama 52 percent to 47 percent.  The poll also found that Romney has an even greater advantage among middle class voters, 52 percent to 45 percent. While Obama can close the gap with a strong voter turnout effort, “reports from the field would indicate that not to be the case, and Mitt Romney may well be heading to a decisive victory,” says pollster Ed Goeas. Should Romney win by 5 percentage points, it would increase Republican chances of gaining control of the Senate.  His coattails would help elect GOP Senate candidates in Virginia, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida.  “Republicans are now certain to hold the House,” Goeas said, “regardless of how the presidential race turns out.” The poll’s election model takes into account variables including voter intensity, age, and education, and voters who are certain in their vote.  The race “remains very close in the surface,” Goeas said, “but the political environment and the composition of the likely electorate favor Governor Romney.” The projected outcome by the Battleground Poll is close to that of the Gallup Poll.  Last week, Gallup said Romney leads Obama 49 percent to 46 percent in its model of the electorate’s composition on November 6. The Battleground Poll is conducted by Goeas of the Tarrance Group and Celinda Lake of Lake Research Partners.  Goeas is a Republican, Lake a Democrat.  The survey is affiliated with Politico and George Washington University.

With “Frankenstorm” threatening the final days of the presidential race, Gallup released a new poll today showing that GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney is leading President Barack Obama in early voting, something that had been a key part of the Obama campaign strategy. Meanwhile, Gallup also reported that more Republicans than Democrats have already voted by a margin of 19 to 15 percent. “When those who intend to vote before Election Day are factored in, the gap is similar: 37 percent of Republicans vs. 33 percent of Democrats,” according to the polling organization. “Romney currently leads Obama 52 percent to 45 percent among voters who say they have already cast their ballots,” Gallup reported.

Retired Lt. Col.: My Sources Say Obama Was in the Room Watching Benghazi Attack Happen by Madeleine Morgenstern

Retired Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Saturday he has sources saying President Barack Obama was in the room at the White House watching the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya unfold.

Two unarmed U.S. drones were dispatched to the consulate and recorded the final hours of the attack, which killed U.S. Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. “This was in the middle of the business day in Washington, so everybody at the White House, CIA, Pentagon, everybody was watching this go down,” Shaffer said on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine.” “According to my sources, yes, [Obama] was one of those in the White House Situation Room in real-time watching this.”

As the catastrophe in Benghazi continues to unravel it becomes ever more obvious that Charles Woods, father of slain, former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, is asking a question that is not just personal; it is vital to the entire nation. Daniel Halper, posting in The Weekly Standard yesterday, related Mr. Woods’ description of what went on as his son’s coffin was delivered stateside from Libya. The return of the four bodies, as you will remember, was employed as a reprehensible photo-op by the president and Mrs. Clinton. Mr. Woods has very clear recollections of the event. Mr. Woods reported that “…she (Mrs. Clinton) did not appear to be one bit sincere—at all. And you know, she mentioned that the thing about we’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video. That was the first time I had even heard about anything like that.” More damning still was the “sympathy” the president extended: “When [Obama] came over to our little area at Andrew Air Force Base he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that your son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’”Mr. Woods added that the apathetic handshake the president offered felt like he was shaking hands “with a dead fish”. Mr. Woods has since moved on to radio (interview with Lars Larson) and television (interviews on FOX with Megan Kelly and Sean Hannity) in attempts to get his question public traction. The “mainstream media” is, as usual, providing cover for the administration on this breaking news. Mr. Woods’ question becomes even more compelling in light of information that has broken since. According to the most recent news, denials of help came from official sources that knew, in real time, that the attacks were terrorist attacks. Right then and there. Despite this C.I.A. requests for assistance were not only refused once but three times. Both the military and C.I.A. were ordered to “stand down”. There was military assistance available a mere hour away. The violation of the diplomatic compound took place over a period of seven hours.  David Petraeus, head of the C.I.A. has released an unequivocal statement: “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate.” The C.I.A can only be stopped by the White House.

Gallup: Obama’s Job Approval Drops 7 Points in 3 Days

In the most precipitous decline it has seen in more than a year, President Barack Obama’s job approval rating has dropped 7 points in three days, according to Gallup. In the three-day period ending on Oct. 23, says Gallup, 53 percent said they approved of the job Obama was doing and 42 percent said they did not.

On Oct. 24, that dropped to 51 percent who said they approved and 44 percent who said they do not.

On Oct. 25, it dropped again to 48 percent who said they approved and 47 percent who said they do not.

On Oct. 26, it dropped yet again to 46 percent who said they approved and 49 percent who said they did not.

In May 2011, Obama’s approval dropped 7 points in four days, sliding from 53 percent on May 24 to 46 percent on May 28.

Deep political divisions could lead to splits in electoral, popular votes

Most polls suggest GOP nominee Mitt Romney is in the lead nationally, but surveys in the nine or so swing states are registering a narrow advantage for President Obama. What if Romney carries the popular vote, but Obama regains the presidency by winning 270 votes or more in the Electoral College? “I think it’s a 50/50 possibility — or more,” said Mark McKinnon, who was a political strategist for former president George W. Bush. “If the election were held tomorrow, it wouldn’t just be a possibility, it would be actual,” said William A. Galston. Galston, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, served as a policy adviser to former President Bill Clinton. That kind of split decision between the electorate and the Electoral College would mark the fifth time in U.S. history — and the second time in a dozen years — that the person who occupied the White House was not the one who got the most votes on Election Day. This is a turn out election - the turn out by candidate will invalidate the aforementioned concerns!

Is there a deeper plot to Benghazi? by Dennis Marcellino

Maybe I’ve watched too many Perry Mason episodes, or movies like “Charade” (a very entertaining mystery with many twists and turns that are hard to anticipate), or maybe it’s because of my engineering problem-solving background, where you take a bunch of data and then try to come up with a solution that would be in harmony with the data, but let’s take a look at some of the Benghazi data that might reveal something.

(1)   Why was the Benghazi ambassador meeting with a Turkish diplomat?

(2)   Why was such a meeting taking place in Libya?

(3)   Why weren’t troops sent from Sicily (just 45 minutes away) when the first calls immediately came for help and yet all 4 Americans weren’t dead until 7 hours later?

(4)   Why was there a drone in the area?

 Okay, so now let’s put forth a story that could explain these 4 points of data.

The U.S. was running arms to the Syrian rebels through Turkey. They had to coordinate it in an obscure place like Benghazi to keep it secret. The reason they wanted to keep it secret is because the administration didn’t want another “Fast and Furious” on their hands … especially before a debate on foreign policy and an election. And here is the ugliest, most sinister and evil part of the explanation (which would give a reason for #s 3 and 4), they let the 4 Americans die because dead men tell no tales. I know this story may seem far-fetched and the last part is hard to say, but let’s hear your story that explains the 4 peculiarities listed here and includes all 4 of them.

Obama Urged Governors to Celebrate UN Day

President Obama issued a presidential proclamation for “United Nations Day” on October 24 praising the controversial global body while urging governors and officials in all 50 states to celebrate the occasion with “appropriate ceremonies.” The statement drew swift criticism from UN opponents and conservative activists, who argue that the U.S. government should instead withdraw from the scandal-plagued international outfit. Despite of a series of recent set-backs and major controversies surrounding the institution, President Obama, an unabashed fan of the planetary body that critics refer to as the “dictators club,” praised the UN and the “ideals” it purportedly represents. On the 67th anniversary of the UN founding, Obama called on Americans and the world to continue working toward carrying the institution’s “vision” forward.

Obama: Second Term Would be Mandate for Tax Increases

President Obama said in an interview aired Monday that his first priority if re-elected would be to push for passage of a debt-reduction plan to cut spending and raise taxes on the nation’s highest earners. Appearing in a taped interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Mr. Obama predicted that Congress can approve a plan to reduce the country’s debt and deficit as soon as during a lame-duck session later this year, or in the early months of next year. “If we won, then I believe that’s a mandate for doing it in a balanced way,” he said in the interview, which was taped Saturday at a campaign stop in Nashua, N.H. “We can do some more cuts, we could look at how we deal with the health care costs in particular under Medicaid and Medicare in a serious way, but we are also going to need some revenue.” The president also reflected on the close of his final political campaign and last month’s consulate attack in Libya, in addition to laying out some of his goals for a possible second term.
