The Detroit Free
Press has one of the most terrifying, unbelievable “home alone” stories
to strike rural America. It is the story of a 14-year-old boy who was keeping
an eye on his siblings while his dad ran a quick errand Wednesday night, who
ended up guarding a reported rape victim with his hunting knife as an
ex-convict battered at the door and threatened to kill them all. The alleged
rapist eventually tried to set the house on fire, with the children inside.
James Persyn was watching television in his Shepherd, Michigan home– his
11-year-old sister playing with their 2-year-old brother– when he heard a
frantic battering at the door. “Her voice was, like, she was going to die if I
didn’t open that door,” James recalled, so he looked at his sister and they
quickly made the decision to let the woman in. Continue reading....

BREAKING: Black Dem Assemblyman Threatens to Shoot White Speaker-elect
By Doug Giles
If I had done this
I would have been drawn and quartered and I guaran-damn-tee you would have
heard about it on the The Today Show. Will Brooks be charged with a hate
crime in addition to the other charges?
The arrest came on Saturday, January 19, after Brooks made verbal
threats against Speaker Kirkpatrick. Early reports had Brooks actually
brandishing a weapon but later reports claimed he had just threatened to get
his gun that was in his car. You thought Congress was dysfunctional? The Nevada
lawmaker was arrested on Saturday night for threatening to shoot a colleague, KNTV reported.
According to the
Las Vegas Sun, State
Assemblyman Steven Brooks was arrested with a loaded gun. He had
threatened to shoot Speaker-elect Marilyn Kirkpatrick. He was apparently
unhappy with his committee assignments.
He spent the night in custody, the Las
Vegas-Review Journal reported.
Brooks is a
Democratic assemblyman who represents North Las Vegas. He was first
elected in 2010.

Obama Tailoring Military Leadership to Only Those Who
Will Shoot Fellow Americans by
da Tagliare
Dr. Jim Garrow is
well-known for his books and for his humanitarian work to rescue Chinese girls
from certain death. The one-child policy in China leads many parents to
kill girl babies, either before or after they are born. It is far more
prestigious to have a male child than a girl, so they kill the girls. Over the
last 16 years, Garrow’s efforts have rescued an estimated 40,000 girl babies
from China at a cost of over $25 million. Almost all of these girls would
have been killed had they not been rescued and taken out of the country.
Today, he is the founder and executive director of the Bethune Institute’s Pink
Pagoda schools. There are 168 private schools in his program that employ
6,300 people, all with the goal of raising and teaching the Chinese girls in a
English speaking environment. Garrow’s has written about his effort to save
China’s girls by authoring the book, The
Pink Pagoda: One Man’s Quest to End Gendercide in China. Dr. Garrow is
not known for being a wild crackpot or part of the political fringe, so when he
recently made the following post on his Facebook page, it
got the attention of a number people:
“I
have just been informed by a former senior military leader that Obama is using
a new ‘litmus test’ in determining who will stay and who must go in his
military leaders. Get ready to explode folks. ‘The new litmus test of
leadership in the military is if they will fire on US citizens or not.’ Those who will not are being
removed.”
When asked who is
source was, Garrow replied:
“The
man who told me this is one of America’s foremost military heroes.”
One has to wonder
if this had anything to do with President Obama’s dismissal of Marine Corps
Gen. James Mattis from his post as commander of the Central Command. The Washington Free Beacon
commented on the dismissal, saying:
“Word
on the national security street is that General James Mattis is being given the
bum’s rush out of his job as commander of Central Command, and is being told to
vacate his office several months earlier than planned.”
As
wild as this may sound, the behavior of this Administration (as in today's
testimony by Hillary Clinton) enable one to not easily dismiss such a
charge. Obama has brought this
scurrilous talk on himself.

Report: 54,559,615 Abortions Since Roe v. Wade in 1973
By: Todd Beamon
As the nation marks
the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the National Right to Life Committee
estimates that 54,559,615 abortions have been performed in the United States
since the Supreme Court guaranteed a woman’s right to the procedure. The organization compiled its data from the
Centers for Disease Control and the Guttmacher Institute, a pro-abortion group
that once served as Planned Parenthood’s research arm, Lifenews.com reports. Guttmacher’s numbers come directly from
abortion centers and serves as the prime source for more current figures
because the CDC has never tabulated accurate numbers of abortions, Lifenews
reports. In addition, the CDC relies on
figures from state health departments, some of which rely on voluntary reporting
— “and it hasn’t had data from some states such as California and New Hampshire
for more than a decade,” Lifenews reports.
"The number means there are
more than 3,300 abortions daily and 137 abortions per hour every hour in the
United States,” Lifenews reports. “Translated another way, an abortion is done
about every 30 seconds in the United States.”

U.S. gift of F-16 fighters headed to Egypt, despite
Morsi's harsh rhetoric By Maxim Lott
Four F-16 fighter
jets left the U.S. this morning, bound for Egypt as part of a foreign aid
package critics say should have been scrapped when the nation elected a
president who has called President Obama a liar and urged that hatred of Jews
be instilled in children. A source who works on the naval air base in
Fort Worth, Texas, confirmed the departure of the state-of-the-art fighter planes
to FoxNews.com. Sixteen F-16s and 200 Abrams tanks are to be given to the
Egyptian government before the end of the year under a foreign aid deal signed
in 2010 with then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a longtime U.S. ally.
Critics, including
several in Congress, say it doesn't make sense to follow through with the
package, given that new Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi, elected last summer,
has given decidedly mixed signals about relations with the U.S. While he has
toned down his rhetoric since his election, in 2010 - the same year the aid
package was struck - Morsi attacked Obama for supporting Israel. “One American president after another — and most
recently, that Obama — talks about American guarantees for the safety of the
Zionists in Palestine," Morsi, then a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood,
said on Egyptian television in reaction to Obama's 2009 speech in Cairo.
"[Obama] was very clear when he uttered his empty words on the land of
Egypt. He uttered many lies, of which he couldn’t have fulfilled a single word,
even if he were sincere — which he is not.”

53% Say Economic Growth More Important Than Economic
Fairness
Most voters see
economic growth as more important than economic fairness but recognize that
there is a conflict between the two. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone
survey finds that 53% of Likely U.S. Voters think economic growth is more
important than economic fairness. Thirty-five percent (35%) think economic
fairness is more important. Twelve percent (12%) are undecided. This
remains generally unchanged from December but is down from a high of 62%
who rated economic growth more important in July.
