Romney Paid More in Taxes than 99% of all
Americans
This came as a shock even to me. The media
have been doing a great job in propagandizing for Team Obama by making a
campaign issue out of the fact that Mitt Romney “only” paid around 14 percent
in taxes. Consider the following from the mostly
liberal Washington Post: “[A]bout 96 percent of all taxpayers have a
lower average [Federal income] tax rate than Romney.” “More precisely, in
2010, somewhere between 90 and 95 percent of Americans had a lower effective
income tax rate than Romney’s
13.9 percent. In 2011,
somewhere between 95 and 97 percent of Americans had a lower effective income
tax rate than Romney’s 15.4 percent, at least according to the latest IRS data from 2010.”

Time
To Show Your Tax Returns Harry Reid - Harry, what are
you hiding?
Should Sen. Democratic leader Harry Reid
follow in the footsteps of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney by releasing
his 2011 tax return? Dave Buell, chairman of the Washoe Country Republican
party in Mr. Reid’s political backyard of Nevada, certainly thinks so.
“Senator, make our day and release your 2011 tax return,” he said in an email
blast Friday evening. Citing an
anonymous source, Mr. Reid has repeatedly claimed in recent weeks that Mr.
Romney “didn’t pay taxes for 10 years.” Mr. Romney countered that over the
past ten years he never paid less than 13 percent of his taxable income and
that “Harry Reid’s charge is totally
false.”

Romney
Overpaid $500,000 Income Tax: Reid Cries 'Manipulation' By Todd Beamon
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid charged
Mitt Romney with manipulating his 2011 taxes to “conform with his public
statements,” after the Republican presidential challenger's return showed he
paid nearly $500,000 more than he should have. "Governor Romney is showing
us what he does when the public is looking," Reid said. "The true
test of his character would be to show what he did when everyone was not
looking at his taxes." Reid was referring to the Republican presidential
candidate's decision not to take the full write-off on the huge amount he and
his wife Ann gave to charity last year. The return, released Friday, show the
couple donated some 30 percent of their $13.7 million income — but they did not
take the full write-off, making their effective tax rate higher. Like Bidden,
Reid simply does not know when to shut up.
He appears to be the ideological
idiot he truly is.

Obama: “We must educate our children to
become like young Egyptian people”
“My husband and I
just came back from the Middle East. As we arrived in Cairo, going down the
mechanical stairs to go to the baggage claim area, there’s this big poster
which reads: “We must educate our children to become like young Egyptian
people.” President of the USA, Barack Obama. “I liked to choke. I could not
believe my eyes. Had to go back and climb the stairs in order to take the
picture. Could not leave the place without it!”

There is no doubt that Obama knew that the
attacks involved AK-47s, along with Rocket propelled grenades. He knew that his
ambassador was in grave danger and yet knowing all of this, and not knowing the
status of Ambassador Stevens, Obama allegedly went quietly to bed.

CBS Omits Clip From Broadcast of Obama
Admitting His Campaign Has Gone ‘Overboard’ & Made Campaign Ad ‘Mistakes’
It’s an undisputed fact that the American people
have a high level of distrust for the mainstream media — just look at the
startling Gallup numbers released last week. A recent decision by CBS
News to omit a portion of an interview with President Barack Obama in which he
admitted mistakes and blunders in campaign ads is likely to add to the lack of
public confidence in mainstream outlets. In an interview for “60
Minutes,” Obama surprisingly contended that some of his campaign ads
and contentions “go overboard” and have errors, but these admissions
were omitted from the final interview that aired. Aren’t the
American entitled to the truth? Or a better version of it?,” Kroft countered. Perhaps realizing he had gone a bit too far
in his admission, Obama steered away from the subject of campaign lies and
turned the conversation back to a discussion about America’s future. “The
truth of the matter is, most of the time we’re having a vigorous debate about a
vision for the country and, you know, there’s a lot at stake in this election,”
Obama explained. “So is it going to be sharp sometimes? Absolutely. But will
the American people ultimately have a good sense of where I want to take the
country and where Gov. Romney takes the country? I think they will.”

Permanent Spin By STEPHEN F. HAYES
For nine days, the Obama administration made a case that virtually
everyone understood was untrue: that the killing of our ambassador and three
other Americans in Benghazi, Libya, was a random, spontaneous act of
individuals upset about an online video—an unpredictable attack on a
well-protected compound that had nothing do to with the eleventh anniversary of
9/11. These claims were wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong. Intelligence
officials understood immediately that the attacks took place on 9/11 for a
reason. The ambassador, in a country that faces a growing al Qaeda threat, had
virtually no security. The two contractors killed in the attacks were not part of the ambassador’s security
detail, and there were not, in fact, “many other colleagues” working
security with them. So we
are left with this: Four Americans were killed in a premeditated terrorist
attack on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11, and for more than a week the Obama
administration misled the country about what happened. This
isn’t just a problem. It’s a scandal. If this were
the first time top Obama officials had tried to sell a bogus narrative after an
attack, perhaps they would deserve the benefit of the doubt. It’s not.

Obama to Release One Third of Gitmo Inmates
to Libya by Tim Brown
Yesterday I wrote
about the man that is the alleged leader, Abu Sufian bin Qumu. behind the
Libyan attacks that led to the deaths of four Americans, including U.S.
Ambassador Chris Stevens. He was formerly held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Now
Barack Obama is set to release 55 Gitmo prisoners into Libyan custody. Another sign of a great Commander in Chief.

Iran to launch pre-emptive Israel strike?
DUBAI (Reuters) -
Iran could launch a pre-emptive strike on Israel if it was sure the Jewish
state was preparing to attack it, a senior commander of its elite Revolutionary
Guards was quoted as saying on Sunday. Amir Ali Hajizadeh, a brigadier general
in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, made the comments to Iran's state-run
Arabic language Al-Alam television. "Iran will not start any war but it
could launch a pre-emptive attack if it was sure that the enemies are putting
the final touches to attack it," Al-Alam said, paraphrasing the military
commander. Hajizadeh said any attack on Iranian soil could trigger "World
War Three".

Only 23% Blame Middle East Protests on
Anti-Islamic Video - Rasmussen Poll
Most voters think
the recent protests at U.S. embassies in the Middle East were pre-planned and not
a reaction to an anti-Islamic video on YouTube. They also believe
overwhelmingly that terrorists are likely to have been involved in the murder
of the U.S. ambassador to Libya.

Obamacare......
Most voters still
want to repeal President Obama’s national health care law, but voters are now
evenly divided over whether repeal is likely. A new Rasmussen Reports
national telephone survey
finds that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters favor repeal of the health care law, and
41% are opposed. This includes 41% who Strongly Favor repeal of the law
and 32% who Strongly Oppose it.

Fact Check: Obama Lies About Responsibility
for Deficit
Yesterday, President Barack Obama told CBS
News’ 60 Minutes that “ninety percent” of the reason the federal budget deficit
has risen dramatically under his administration is because of his predecessor,
George W. Bush. Not only is
that a bald-faced lie–Obama borrowed more money in less than four years than
Bush did in eight–but it is a lie that many in the media want to believe,
as Andrew Sullivan of Newsweek demonstrates. Sullivan argues, in his latest
Newsweek cover story, that Obama could become the new Ronald Reagan–for
Democrats–by balancing the budget through “a bipartisan deal on taxes and
spending.” This after four years in which Obama failed to halve the deficit as
promised; radically expanded spending; constantly pushed for higher taxes;
ignored his own debt commission; and failed to achieve a “grand bargain” on the
long-term budget. It
is because of such willful self-delusion and fakery by significant portions of
the media that Obama believes he can get away with lying about the deficit.

Shocking Poll: The presidential race is tight
in Pennsylvania
Two percentage points separate President
Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney in a state poll conducted for the Tribune-Review, even though the
campaigns largely are ignoring Pennsylvania and concentrating on other
battlegrounds. Obama polled 47 percent
to Romney's 45 percent among likely Pennsylvania voters, with 6 percent of
voters undecided and 44 days until Election Day, according to the survey by
Susquehanna Polling & Research. The survey of 800 voters, conducted Sept.
18-20, has a margin of error of 3.46 percentage points. The poll showed most voters are
disappointed with the country’s direction, evenly split on whether Obama
deserves another term and hesitant to back Romney, the former governor of
Massachusetts.

More from revealing audio of 1998
‘redistribution’ speech: Obama saw welfare recipients as ‘majority coalition’
“What that means,
then is that as we try to resuscitate this notion that we’re all in this thing
together — ‘leave nobody behind’ — we do have to be innovative in thinking.
’What are the delivery systems that are actually effective and meet people
where they live?’” he said. It was at this point that Obama launched into
his now-famous line about constructing government systems that redistribute
wealth. The full recording reveals that Obama saw welfare recipients and
the working poor in Chicago as a “majority coalition” who could be leveraged
politically.

Krauthammer: Press Is Suppressing The
Collapse Of The Obama Policy
Charles
Krauthammer: "I think this is a scandal at many levels. Obviously,
the level of on the ground what happened in Libya. The lack of warning, the
lack of intelligence, the lack of communication, the lack of response in and of
itself is going to be a scandal as the details are coming out. The second level
was already mentioned, [unintelligible] in effect of the administration went
out and ridiculously sends out a U.S. ambassador to the U.N., probably the next
Secretary of State if Obama is re-elected, and is telling the nation with a
straight face that it was a spontaneous demonstration and it wasn’t a terrorist
attack, which a 9-year-old could tell was not so."
"They stuck
with the story. Day after day, the president himself today refuses to say the
obvious. On the same day his Secretary of State says of course it’s a terrorist
attack.
Carney today, I
think, said of course it’s a terrorist attack. It looks like incompetence.
But actually, I think there’s a method here and the idea is you want to pretend
it’s something else, hope it goes away. And the reason that the administration
understands but it won’t say that this really is a symbol of the collapse of
the policy that Obama initiated of accommodation and apology in the Muslim
world. He had attributed all the ills, all the anti-Americanism to the Bush
invasion, to the torture and the degradation of the previous administration.
All of that is over and yet we have the worst explosion of anti-Americanism in
memory. And this is a collapse of the
policy they can’t admit, they have to pretend isn’t having and the press is
collaborating and suppressing. Either it doesn’t understand or it doesn’t want
to harm Obama."

California Has Gone Over the Fiscal
Cliff By Mike "Mish" Shedlock
California August Sales Tax Collection Down
20% From Year Ago, Total Revenues Down 5.5%, Income Tax Up 11.6%; Spending Out
Of Control By $3 Billion
So California, what
are you going to do? Cut spending or hike taxes? Sound familiar? Remember the old saying "What starts in
California eventually spreads across the country." What you can watch there is the future of the
U.S. If the past reflects the future,
they will neither cut spending or have the ability to raise taxes. Obama, is offering us the same recipe for
failure. Raise taxes on the rich (that
will is like a pebble in the ocean) and increasing spending in all areas of
entitlements. Especially those that
benefit the Unions. Vote with your
head this November.....as you would in your own household!

Romney
Outed as a Conservative by Gary DeMar
How do we
know Romney sounds like a conservative? The media are attacking him for
something he said in June that was surreptitiously recorded by, if the reports
are true, Jimmy Carter’s grandson. Why would Carter’s grandson do this? It’s
simple. He wants Obama to win a second term. With Obama winning a second term
and the economy in a mess and the Middle East smoldering, Jimmy Carter will no
longer be our nation’s worst president. It
took a mole to out Mitt Romney as a conservative. He told the truth at a fundraiser
– 47 percent of Americans are in the pockets of the Democrats. I should say
that the 47 percent of the American people are in OUR pockets! These people
vote for Democrats because they believe the Democrats will give them other
people’s money. Obama said it himself at a 1998 conference at Loyola
University in Chicago: “I believe in redistribution” to “make sure that
everybody’s got a shot.”
