A CANADIAN'S VIEW OF PRESIDENT TRUMP

Ernie Meggisen, a Canadian, wrote the following on Donald J. Trump...

Make no mistake...I'm not posting this for debate.  I don’t want your
commentary.   ..Unfollow or unfriend me if it makes you feel better.

Just consider this...  When you think    that your    President Trump is a
jerk; HE IS...

He’s a New Yorker..  He’s crude and can be downright rude.  Some say he's a thin-skinned, arrogant, bombastic ass.  ..No argument, even from most republicans if they're really honest.

He gets his feelings hurt and he’s a hot head. ..He hits back; harder.
...And he probably should Tweet less.

But let me tell you what else he is...And if you disagree with this that's
your privilege.  ..But in that case my friend, you'd be DEAD WRONG!!!  ..And here's why;

He's a guy who DEMANDS performance. ..And more    importantly; RESULTS!!  He spent his entire life in the private sector where you either produce or get your ass fired!

He's a guy who asks lots of questions. ..And the questions he asks aren’t cloaked in fancy “political” phrases; they are “Why the hell...?” questions.

For decades, the health industry has thrown away billions of face masks after one use. ...Trump asks, “Why are we throwing them away?  Why not sterilize them and use them numerous times?” (Good question.)

He’s the guy who gets hospital ships readied in one week when it would have taken a bureaucrat weeks or months or never to get it done.

He’s the guy who gets temporary hospitals built in three days.

He’s the guy who gets auto industries to restructure to build ventilators in a business that’s highly regulated by agencies that move like sloths.

He’s the guy who asks “Why aren’t we using drugs that might work on people who are dying; what the hell do we have to lose?” (Another good question.)

He’s the guy who restricted travel from China when the democrats and liberal media were screaming “xenophobia” and “racist.”  ..Now they’re wanting to know why he didn’t react sooner?  When he shut down the borders in the early days of the corona virus, the democrats screamed even LOUDER.  ..Then the rest of the world, including the European Union quickly restricted travel between their own member countries.

He’s the guy who campaigned on securing the border - protecting America - in the face of screaming democrats and the liberal media. ...And these SAME leaders of your democrat party (both the Clintons, Chucky Schumer, Harry Reed, Barack Obama, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi et al...)  ALL were in FAVOR of constructing the wall 'UNTIL' Trump had the fortitude to actually do it!!!

Now your comeback might be:  'Oh, he said Mexico was going to pay for it'..  Does that ring a bell?  Well, let me quickly set you straight on this one: Have you compared the old EXTREMELY one-sided NAFTA agreement (negotiated by none other than Jimmy 'peanuts' Carter) with the NEW U.S.M.C. agreement?  Well I have...And let me tell you this:  Mexico will now end up paying much MORE for your goods than you will for theirs...And why you might ask??  Because they're far more    reliant    on the U.S than you are of them.  Yes, it will take time but the bottom line is;...They WILL end up paying for the wall just like Trump said all along!  .Admittedly as a Canadian, this new USMCA is certainly not as beneficial as NAFTA was for both my country and Mexico.  Previously our farmers had a huge monopoly over your farmers
but 'fair is fair'...

Has Trump made mistakes? ..Of course.  You can't fault a person for being a human being.  Only ONE perfect man walked this earth 2000 years ago, Jesus!

Everyone I know has made mistakes and continues to make them and LEARNS from them.

Trump is and has accomplished more than any U.S. President in my lifetime. (I'm 77 years old)  ..He puts in 18 to 20-hour days. He isn’t hiding in his office; he’s out front - Briefing - ALL Americans almost every day.

According to democrats and liberal media, when he offers hope he’s lying, and when he’s straight forward he should be hopeful. It’s a no-win situation for him every day with the haters and naysayers, but he is NOT deterred.

I’ll take THIS kind of leadership 6 days a week and TWICE on Sunday over a “polished, nice guy” politician who has seldom or never held a real private sector job in his or her adult life, reads prepared and “written by a speech-writer” speeches from a teleprompter and ONLY answers pre-scripted questions selected for him/her prior to the open forum.  (Sorry folks, but that's EXACTLY what your previous POTUS did.)

I am completely mystified as to why this man has been bombarded by the media and liberal electorate EVERY day since back in 2015 when he announced his run for the U.S. presidency.

...And whether you want to believe it or not, Americans, let me tell you one more thing, if you REALLY think that Hillary would have accomplished even a fraction of the things for the betterment of the American public that POTUS Trump has, you've really got your head in the sand.

I can only wish he was MY President! - For the good of America, you'd better hope he's re-elected this November.

I DO!!!

The Truth About Hillary Emails and Evil Discovered Within!

A Review of Various Actions by the
Federal Bureau of Investigation and
Department of Justice in Advance of the
2016 Election
Oversight and Review Division 18-04 June 2018

CHAPTER NINE:
DISCOVERY OF CLINTON EMAILS ON THE
WEINER LAPTOP AND REACTIVATION OF THE MIDYEAR
INVESTIGATION

In this chapter, we discuss the discovery of Clinton emails on the Weiner
laptop and the eventual reactivation of the Midyear investigation. Section I details
the discovery of these emails by the FBI’s New York Field Office (NYO) and Section
II discusses the numerous notifications of this fact to FBI Headquarters in late
September and early October. Section III describes the initial response by FBI
Headquarters and Midyear personnel to this discovery. Section IV discusses NYO’s
processing of the Weiner laptop. Section V details the ensuing inaction by FBI
Headquarters and Midyear personnel, and the explanations we received from FBI
leadership and Midyear personnel for this inactivity. In Section VI, we discuss the
Weiner case agent’s concerns about this inactivity and, in Section VII, we describe
the actions taken by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York
(SDNY) as a result of these concerns. In Section VIII, we discuss the response by
the Department and FBI to SDNY’s notification about the Weiner laptop. Section IX
examines the reengagement on this issue by FBI Headquarters and Midyear
personnel. Section X describes the events that led to the decision to seek a search
warrant for the Weiner laptop. We provide our analysis in Section XI.

I. Discovery of Emails by the FBI’s New York Field Office
A. Seizure of Weiner Laptop and Devices

In September 2016, the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern
District of New York (SDNY) began investigating former Congressman Anthony
Weiner for his online relationship with a minor. The FBI’s New York Field Office
(NYO) was in charge of the investigation. A federal search warrant was obtained on
September 26, 2016, for Weiner’s iPhone, iPad, and laptop computer. The FBI
obtained these devices the same day. The search warrant authorized the
government to search for evidence relating to the following crimes: transmitting
obscene material to a minor, sexual exploitation of children, and activities related to
child pornography.

B. Emails and BlackBerry PIN Message Viewed by Case Agent
The case agent assigned to the Weiner investigation was certified as a Digital
Extraction Technician and, as such, had the training and skills to extract digital
evidence from electronic devices. The case agent told the OIG that he began
processing Weiner’s devices upon receipt on September 26. The case agent stated
that he noticed “within hours” that there were “over 300,000 emails on the laptop.”
The case agent told us that on either the evening of September 26 or the
morning of September 27, he noticed the software program on his workstation was having trouble processing the data on the laptop.165 The case agent stated that he

went into the email folder on the laptop to see why the processing was “hung up.”
He explained that, because the laptop was still processing, he was only able to view
the emails that were immediately visible in the window on his computer screen.
The case agent told us that the first item he clicked on was “either an email
between Hillary and Huma [Abedin] or a BlackBerry PIN message.” The case agent
stated that, in the window of items visible to him, he saw a “couple” of emails
between Clinton and Abedin and at least one BlackBerry PIN message between
Clinton and Abedin. The case agent told us that the BlackBerry PIN message in
particular caught his attention because his “general understanding” was that those
messages reside on a “BlackBerry proprietary-like backbone” and would not “leave
much of a trace because it doesn’t go through any external servers other than a
BlackBerry server.” When asked specifically how he identified this BlackBerry PIN
message as being between Clinton and Abedin, the case agent stated that “it was
obvious” from the domains, which were “something like HR15@BBM-dotsomething,
and HAbedin@BBM-dot.” With respect to the emails he observed, the
case agent said he recalled seeing emails associated with “about seven domains,”
such as yahoo.com, state.gov, clintonfoundation.org, clintonemail, and
hillaryclinton.com.

The case agent told us that he asked another agent to take a quick look at
his computer to “make sure, am I, am I seeing what I think I’m seeing?” The other
agent told the OIG that he “vividly” recalled what he described as the “oh-shit
moment” when the case agent said that Hillary Clinton’s emails were on the laptop.
The other agent stated that, while he did not view the content, he believed that he
did see the domain portion of the emails and remembered thinking at the time that
it was the same domain that had been associated with Clinton in news coverage.
The other agent told the OIG that he and the case agent agreed that this
information needed “to get reported up the chain” immediately.

C. Reporting of Clinton-Related Emails to FBI NYO Supervisors

The case agent told us that, after speaking with the other agent, he
immediately told his Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) what he had observed,
including that he had seen “private BlackBerry messages, private messages
between Hillary and Huma to which Anthony Weiner was not a party.” The NYO
SSA corroborated this account, stating that the case agent came into his office on
September 27 and told him “he had discovered emails that could be tied to Hillary
Clinton.” The SSA told us that he specifically recalled the case agent mentioning
domain names associated with Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, and possibly
Clinton for President. The SSA also recalled the case agent telling him “early on”
that there were “hundreds of thousands” of emails. The case agent and SSA told
us that because the search warrant for the laptop was limited to child exploitation
offenses, they agreed during this meeting that the emails were not covered under
the search warrant and the case agent should not review those emails. The SSA
and the case agent met with their Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) to
make him aware of the emails. The ASAC told us that the SSA and case agent
initially briefed him on September 28. The ASAC stated they reported that the
laptop was still processing, but there were approximately 141,000 emails of interest
at that moment. The ASAC further stated that the case agent and SSA identified
seven different domains of interest. The ASAC’s notes from the morning of
September 28 corroborated this account. The notes included references to
“imaging, processing ½ way through,” “141k emails,” and seven domains, which
were @clinton.com/gov, @state.gov, @clintonemail.com, @AW.com,
@clintonfoundation.org, @presidentclinton.com, and @hillaryclinton.com.

The Impeachment Inquiry “Witness” List

The Impeachment Inquiry “Witness” List

The people on this list are powerful and influential in their roles. They operate with a great deal of autonomy and are loyal to the Ambassador Core. Presidents and Secretary of States come and go. However, they are the permanent structure of U.S. Foreign Policy. What one does not do to powerful and influential people is make them appear or disrupt their power and influence. Trump did exactly that.

Some on this list were openly hostile about the actions taken in the Ukraine and spoke with that tenor. They all claimed to be unbiased, but immediately contradicted themselves during the hearings!

William Brockenbrough Taylor Jr., (born September 14, 1947) is an American diplomat, government official, former soldier, and, as of November 2019, the acting United States ambassador to Ukraine.

George P. Kent is an American diplomat serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs since September 4, 2018.

Marie Louise "Masha" Yovanovitch is an American diplomat and member of the senior ranks of the United States Foreign Service.

Jennifer Williams is an American United States Department of State official who has served as a special advisor to U.S. vice president Mike Pence on European and Russian affairs

Alexander Semyon Vindman is a United States Army lieutenant colonel who serves as the Director for European Affairs for the United States National Security Council (NSC).

Kurt Douglas Volker is an American diplomat who served as the U.S. Ambassador to NATO.

Timothy Aaron Morrison is an American Republican political adviser. He was briefly the top U.S. adviser to President Trump on Russia and Europe.

Gordon David Sondland is an American diplomat and businessperson. He is the United States Ambassador to the European Union.

Laura Katherine Cooper is an American civil servant. She is Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russian, Ukrainian, and Eurasian affairs in the office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy, and a career member of the Senior Executive Service.

David Maclain Hale is a United States diplomat and career foreign service officer, currently serving as the United States Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs.

Fiona Hill  is a British-born American foreign affairs specialist. She is a former official at the National Security Council specializing in Soviet, Russian, and European affairs.

The Left is neither Republican or Democrat - They are evil!

Why You Can't Argue With a Leftist

By Owen Benjamin, Prager University

If we do, we can disagree—even strongly disagree, and still have a productive discussion. We might even reach a compromise. But if we don’t share the same goals? Then what?
Then, rhetorically speaking, we’re at war. And only one side can win.

Let me explain.

My parents and brother lean more to the liberal side of the political spectrum than I do. We argue. We slightly nudge each other. We change opinions a little bit. And then we go back to Scrabble.

They were very upset when President Trump withdrew from the Paris climate accords. I was happy. We argued about it, but it was all good because we share the same goals.

We all want clean air and water for our children. We all want to develop clean energy; we want America’s economy to prosper; we want to be less reliant on fossil fuels.

I thought the accords were a bad deal for America. The best way to lower carbon emissions, in my opinion, is to let the free market and American ingenuity loose on the problem. They, in contrast, think the government needs to step in, fund the research, and keep the corporations in line.

Doesn’t matter, because we have the same goal: a healthy planet.

We also disagree on gun control. My brother is a little more with me, but my dad wants a lot more regulation because he wants fewer school shootings. So do I. So does my brother. But I believe if a potential killer knew he’d encounter teachers and administrators well-trained in the use of weapons, we’d have less shootings. Different solutions. Shared goal.
I’ve always thought that this is how America is supposed to work. Liberals and conservatives respectfully arguing over the best solution to a shared goal.

But now there’s a third party in the game: the left. And they’re changing the rules.
When I was growing up, the left was on the fringe. But now they’ve moved into the mainstream. They’ve pretty much taken over our educational system. They’re in the media. In corporate HR departments. And, more and more, sad to say, in the Democratic Party.
The left doesn’t share the same goals that liberals and conservatives do. They have a whole different set of goals.

Let me give you some examples.

Raising kids without a gender identity or encouraging them to question their sexual identity. This, to me, is a form of child abuse. I don’t care who’s doing it—parents, teachers, doctors. Their goal is not my goal.

Here’s another one: Demonizing white people and males for the world’s problems is not part of my value system. There is no shared goal in that.

I believe in merit and character over race. But now it’s cool to say that white males have done all the bad things in the world.

I have two little boys. I get angry just thinking about people telling them they’re responsible for racism and sexism—beautiful little children who just dance in the kitchen and smile. So that’s not a shared goal.

Here’s a third example: People can differ about how many legal immigrants America should allow into the country. But when it comes to whether America should have “open” borders—well, there is no shared goal there. A country with open borders ceases to be a distinct country. And I want America to remain America.

All these ideas—and I could give you a dozen more—are coming from the left. They want to turn the history of Western Civilization, of America—a history I’m very proud of—into a highlight reel of human errors. These ideas threaten everything I cherish—my family, my community, my country.

And what does the left offer in its place? Nothing constructive that I can see. What are their goals? Kids with no clear sexual identity; group-think based on race, gender, and class; no national pride or borders. Are you okay with that?

My issue is not with liberals like my brother and my dad and a lot of my friends. We can argue until the cows come home. My issue is with the left because we don’t share goals.

This war of goals isn’t coming. It’s here. You need to decide which side you’re on: the liberals’ and conservatives’ side, or the left’s.

Your future depends on it.

Child Deaths In the U.S.

Child Deaths In the U.S.

Who Are the Perpetrators?
Parents—acting alone or with another parent or individual—were responsible for 78 percent of child abuse or neglect fatalities. More than one-quarter (27 percent) of fatalities were perpetrated by the mother acting alone, 16.8 percent were perpetrated by the father acting alone, and 20.1 percent were perpetrated by the mother and father acting together. Nonparents (including kin and child care providers, among others) were responsible for 16.7 percent of child fatalities, and child fatalities with unknown perpetrator relationship data accounted for 5.3 percent of the total.

How Bad Is It?
Fatal child abuse may involve repeated abuse over a period of time, or it may involve a single, impulsive incident (e.g., drowning, suffocating, shaking a baby). In cases of fatal neglect, the child’s death does not result from anything the caregiver does; rather, it results from a caregiver’s failure to act. The neglect may be chronic (e.g., extended malnourishment) or acute (e.g., an infant who drowns after being left unsupervised in the bathtub).
74.6 percent of children who died from child maltreatment suffered neglect either alone or in combination with another maltreatment type, and 44.2 percent of children who died suffered physical abuse either alone or in combination with other maltreatment. Medical neglect either alone or in combination with another maltreatment type was reported in 5.7 percent of fatalities.

Summary
While the exact number of children affected is uncertain (reporting is erratic), child fatalities due to abuse or neglect remain a serious problem in the United States. Fatalities due to child maltreatment disproportionately affect young children and most often are caused by one or both of the child’s parents.

The problem is serious – and it’s getting worse because of writers like Eugene Robinson at the Washington Post!

The problem is serious – and it’s getting worse because of writers like
Eugene Robinson at the Washington Post!

Here are excerpts from a recent article Eugene Robinson wrote with commentary.

How long are we going to pretend that President Trump is fully rational? How long are we going to ignore the signs that he is dangerously out of control?
Two questions that set the tone for the rest of the article that has no connection to reality.

Trump’s supporters comfort themselves with the idea that he’s being crazy like a fox – that all the outrageous lies, abrupt reversals, bizarre pronouncements and vicious personal attacks are calculated to achieve some rational goal. He’s just playing to his base, perhaps, or distracting everyone from unpopular legislation cutting taxes for the rich, or trying to deceive other world leaders into thinking he might be unhinged and therefore should be accommodated.
Change out the name “Trump” with any number of liberal Democrats and the rest of the paragraph would remain the same with one exception. That would be he is wrong about Trump.

But what evidence is there of calculation? Congress may indeed pass a slapped-together tax bill, but there is no indication Trump even knows what’s in it. That would be his first and only significant legislative accomplishment. His approval rating plummeted after the inauguration and has been stuck at 40 percent or below since June, according to Gallup. He has managed to alienate our closest allies – even drawing a rare rebuke this week from British Prime Minister Theresa May.
Here, Robinson asks the right question, while going on to provide answers that are opinion at best and lying at its worst.

The logical thing to do, at this point, would be to come up with a new strategy. But Trump stays his wild and erratic course, as if he simply cannot help himself. The most alarming development is the revelation that Trump continues to entertain paranoid conspiracy theories of the kind usually found beneath tinfoil hats. According to both The Washington Post and The New York Times, Trump still clings to the ridiculous “birther” theories about where former President Barack Obama was born. More delusional ranting. Robinson combines some known facts with wild statements in hopes the reader will believe. The public record is contrary to what he says.

You will recall that Obama’s birth in Hawaii has been definitively proved.
Obama’s “Photo Shopped” birth certificate did not prove anything other than there are people willing to go to any length to protect Obama.

It would be one thing if Trump were broadcasting this nonsense for a reason. I’d feel better even if he had a nefarious reason – to appeal to racists who cannot accept the legitimacy of the first black president, say, or to encourage his base to doubt everything they see and hear in the media and instead to trust only him.
Robinson goes way out on a limb and brings back into the conversation Obama and his legacy. Further, people don’t disregard the media because Trump told them. The media has created this conundrum all on their own. They have demonstrated publicly they are in the liberal progressive bag!

It is one thing to create a fantasyland for political ends – appealing to some voting group’s prejudices or giving supporters a reason to excuse bad behavior. It is another thing altogether, however, for Trump to fall into his own rabbit hole and actually believe what he once knew to be untrue. Maybe he is worried about the steamrolling Robert Mueller investigation. Or maybe his mental state is just deteriorating.
Only a delusional liberal like Robinson can go on about the mental state of Trump and writing as though the uprising against progressivism in this country is passing phenomenon. That as well as ignoring the bizarre behavior demonstrated daily by his fellow liberal Democrats in Congress: Maxine Waters, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer. And, let’s not forget Hillary and Obama!

Blurring the line between patriotism and nationalism

Blurring the line between patriotism and nationalism
Patriotism. What is it really? Why is it important, or is it?

Recently it seems that some view patriotism as an endorsement of the Trump presidency. That to be patriotic is to be unyieldingly in support of President Trump. I even spoke with someone who was hesitant to put up American flags on the Fourth of July because he didn’t want to be confused as being a “Trump supporter.”

There seems to be a blurring of the lines between what is better called “nationalism” and “patriotism.” And in my opinion, they are both important perspectives for every American to hold.

Starting with patriotism, one could argue that our country was founded on patriotism. George Orwell defined patriotism as a “devotion to a particular place and a particular way of life, which one believes to be the best in the world but has no wish to force upon other people.” My mother’s family immigrated to this country in the 1700s so that they could be a part of building a country where religious freedom was a founding principle.
Like many immigrants for generations, they abandoned their native language and adopted an “English only” household. In taking this step to fully embrace the norms of America, they truly became American.

Centuries later, my father-in-law’s family immigrated from Sweden.

They were so determined to be American that no Swedish was ever spoken once they set foot in America. My father-in-law, who was by definition Swedish, never learned a word of the language.

What glued these varied immigrant communities together was their strong devotion to becoming American. They were all willing to abandon practices from their country of birth to adopt new American practices.
United, they built a country where their varying beliefs were respected and yet replaced by the new American fundamentals.
These Americans were and are the most patriotic and nationalistic people I have ever met.
Their pride in being an American runs deep. Many served our country in wars driven by an intensely strong desire to protect and preserve our values. And this is where we began to blur the line between patriotism and nationalism. While we as a nation became more solidified in our national direction, we also became one of the most powerful nations in the world. This was powered by American ingenuity and nationalism and produced a complex national identity.

Nationalism is the glue that holds our varying beliefs together into one country.
It is what helped create an American identity. Over the centuries the subsequent generations of immigrants blended ideals and beliefs into a common concept. This became the American way of life, the American dream for some. It also firmly planted in us the desire to believe that this way of life is superior. We commonly agreed not to endure oppression or dominance by other nations or even the wealthy and politically powerful.

This last point is what people tend to forget.
The opening of our Constitution says it all, “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, … promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity...” We the people. Not the rich, not the powerful, not the bullies, the people. Just regular folks who generally fear God and don’t shy away from hard work in pursuit of their personal goals and dreams. Immigrants.

This is also where we seem to be getting stuck as a nation. The timeless clash of the old and the new.
Some of the people marching in Charlottesville are stuck in an odd belief of superiority and prejudice. Relying on values that were never a part of America’s ever-evolving identity. Never. As evidence, we have a generation of veterans who fought the horrible inhumane actions of Nazi Germany. American soldiers, sons and daughters of immigrants, who believed so strongly in our way of life that many gave their own lives to protect the rights of others.

Then there are others who boast of superiority simply because of the color of their skin. The war relic heroes that they “honor” are a part of our past. Part of our struggle as we blended our ideals into a common ideal. While we should not forget that struggle, we must also remember that our past is our past. That as a nation we decided to change. We the people decided to change clearly declaring that we do not want to value one citizen differently than another. And all but a handful of us are the progeny of immigrants.
And like Charlottesville, the rancor between members of our major political parties is mindful of the 1860s.

People are at odds with one another in a bitterly deep and confusing manner. When people equate alliance to our nation with blind faith in our president, there is a major disconnection.

The decision to fly an American flag on our national birthday is nothing more than someone expressing gratefulness for being here. It is both nationalism and patriotism. It is not a political stance. It is a custom long honored in this nation.
Without national pride and patriotism, our nation will crumble and fail.

There is no more room for political oppression today than when we founded this nation. We the people are still the drivers of our future. Together we can continue to shape our country. But as always, we must blend our ideals in a genuine manner and not trample the principles that we have all adopted as Americans.

Globalism vs. Nationalism: The Ideological Struggle of the 21st Century

Globalism vs. Nationalism: The Ideological Struggle of the 21st Century

Much of today’s politics does not surround Socialism, Communism Marxism or Democracy; it is about Globalism versus Nationalism. One could say the displacement of a nation's sovereignty by a Global Power Center.

For much of the 20th century, ideological discussions and debates have centered on liberal versus conservative, left versus right.  No longer.  The ideological divide of the 21st century is emerging as globalism versus nationalism.  Since the end of World War II, global integration and technological progress have fueled a new world order centered on free trade, open borders and interdependent economies.  Goods, capital and people should be able to move freely across borders, which is actually the meaning of globalization.  But Greg Ip of the Wall Street Journal argues that globalism is a “mindset that globalization is natural and good, that global governance should expand as national sovereignty contracts.”  The new nationalist surge has startled and shocked the advocates of globalism. Brexit is a sound example. And to the shock of many, the leadership of Russia by Putin.

What went wrong? It is clear, it was not the Russians

What went wrong?

Heidi M. Przybyla

The Democratic National Committee is throwing the doors open for a frank discussion of what went wrong in the 2016 election — and how to retool for the future.

As the party searches for a new chair and vice chair, the DNC has decided to hold four regional forums, moderated by journalists instead of party insiders. It’s the first-time Democrats have held regional forums for party elections in more than 10 years.
The idea is to expose the candidates to the tough questioning as the party seeks to rebuild after Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s unexpected loss on Nov. 8.

The party faces significant challenges in the effort to revamp its leadership and re-energize its base. In addition to taking the White House, Republicans now control a record 67 of the 98 state legislative chambers, more than at any other time in the history of the Republican Party, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

One important topic will be the Rust Belt states that Democrats lost for the first time since 1988.

No one from the intelligence community is invited.

The DNC’s 447 voting members will choose their next leader during the weekend of Feb. 23-26 in Atlanta.

Democrats: You created the Deplorable Us and we won!

Democrats: You created the Deplorable Us and we won!
I'm noticing that a lot of you aren't graciously accepting the fact that your candidate lost. In fact, you seem to be posting even more hateful things about those of us who voted for Trump. Some of you are apparently "triggered" because you are posting how "sick" you feel about the results. How did this happen you ask?
You created "us" - when you attacked our freedom of speech.
You created "us" - when you attacked our right to bear arms.
You created "us" - when you attacked our Christian beliefs.
You created "us" -when you constantly referred to us as racists.
You created "us" -when you constantly called us xenophobic.
You created "us" -when you told us to get on board or get out of the way.
You created "us" -when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating.
You created "us" -  when you lied and said we could keep our insurance plans and our doctors.
You created "us" - when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country.
You created "us" - when you attacked our flag.
You created "us" - when you took God out of our schools.
You created "us" - when you confused women's rights with feminism.
You created "us" - when you began to emasculate men.
You created "us" - when you decided to make our children soft.
You created “us”- When you decided to rewrite school history books and remove the truth about our founders
You created "us" - when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.
You created "us" - when you attacked our way of life.
You created "us" - when you decided to let our government get out of control.
"You" created "us" - the silent majority.
You created "us" - when you began murdering innocent law enforcement officers.
You created "us" - when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn't remove your hat during our National Anthem.
And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up. And we did it with ballots, not bullets.

With ballots, not riots; With ballots, not looting; With ballots, not blocking traffic; With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of "us".  "YOU" created "US". It really is just that simple.

Globalism: A Utopian Nightmare; thoughts on this election

Globalism: A Utopian Nightmare

Do you sometimes feel that the America you grew up in is vanishing before your eyes? You are not imagining things. Sadly, you’re seeing the noxious result of efforts by a relatively small group of globalists who contend that we must “fundamentally transform” America to fit into a new global order.

Throughout the centuries, numerous attempts have been made to establish a worldwide government without acknowledging or honoring God in the process. These attempts have met with failure. The first recorded attempt at a one-world order followed the Great Flood. After the Flood, Noah and his family were told by the Lord to multiply and fill the earth. For a time, they followed God’s loving plan of decentralization: “The peoples spread out on their own lands, each with his own language, by their families within their nations.”1

However, a few generations later, Nimrod, one of Noah’s great-grandsons and the founder of Nineveh, created a scheme for centralized world power. He built numerous cities and enticed all the families of the earth to submit to his scheme of government. In direct rebellion against God’s command, the people under Nimrod arrogantly set out to build the first “skyscraper”—a so-called tower into heaven.2

The Tower of Babel was man’s first attempt at salvation through a counterfeit Messiah—“state” [government] worship disguised as religion. The Lord prevented this by confusing the languages of the people and forcing a worldwide dispersion of families and tribes.
National rulers are warned of the danger of scheming and conspiring together against the Lord. Psalm 2 says: “The kings of the earth band themselves, and the princes [rulers] are assembled together against the Lord, and against His Christ… But He that dwells in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision [contempt].”

The Ruler of the Universe then offers hope: “Be instructed and warned you rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with reverent awe and worshipful fear. Rejoice and be in high spirits with trembling. Kiss the Son [bow, pay homage] lest He be angry and you perish in the way… blessed [happy, fortunate] are all those who seek refuge and put their trust in Him.”
All pagan empires since Babel have been throttled by God in their drive for world domination. Nebuchadnezzar was turned into a grass-eating beast, crawling about on all fours. Alexander the Great died unexpectedly at the age of thirty-three on the verge of conquering the known world. Julius Caesar’s dream of world conquest ended with his assassination in the Roman senate. Napoleon’s plan of world empire ended on the blood-drenched fields of Waterloo. Adolf Hitler’s plan of world dominion by the Third Reich ended with his suicide in a Berlin bunker.

America’s Christian ancestors formed families, churches, towns and colonies that created a level of personal liberty unknown in history. They lived out the divine plan to liberate and disciple the nations through personal, voluntary transformation of individuals rather than top-down, forced coercion. They did not succumb to the big-government, forced centralization which enslaved the world in their time.3

Then our Founders led the colonies together to form a nation. They created a decentralized, representative government that closely followed the republic established by Moses.4 They crafted a divinely inspired plan for limited government, memorializing it in our Declaration of Independence and U.S. Constitution. America’s founding documents drive almost all power back to the “people” and the “States,” away from centralization and globalization.5

Our Founders stood in unity against any all-powerful national government, let alone a global government. Thomas Jefferson represented the view of our Founders when he wrote in 1816: “What has destroyed liberty and the rights of man in every government which has ever existed under the sun? The generalizing and concentrating all cares and powers into one [governing] body…”6

What about today? Whatever the results of the election this month, we can be assured that the long-term prospects for globalists do not look good. Even now the European Union, with its unelected rulers, is crumbling in large part because of the brave English vote for BREXIT in June. The United Nations has failed as a world peace maker and is in chaos. And the communist dictators (in Russia, China, etc.) who still promote the lie of Karl Marx’s utopian “workers’ paradise” will fail like all others before them.

Will Americans continue to be pulled into the “utopian nightmare” of globalism? We don’t need to be. Instead we can boldly reassert our God-given rights and responsibilities to be self-governing and hold our representatives accountable to the Constitution. As Jefferson said, we must “bind the tyrants down with the chains of the Constitution.” Only then, can we leave our children an America that is a shining “City on a Hill” once again.

If you are part of the 71% of Americans that believe the country is going in the wrong direction: Vote Trump

If you are part of the 71% of Americans that believe the country is going in the wrong direction: Vote Trump

Trump can shake up Washington, lead

Mason, Ohio resident Jordan B. Arnold

Thousands across Hamilton County are voting for Donald Trump because they are tired of the conventional approach to politics. Politicians at every level have led us into an era of economic stagnation, offering no vision and no plan for the future. Our people understand that for Washington’s politicians, our region hasn’t been a priority.

Every four years, lifelong politicos like Hillary Clinton come to our region promising solutions that never materialize. During his own campaign against then-Sen. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama promised a renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement, and it was never taken up by Clinton in the State Department.

President Obama told us that he would fight to replace the Brent Spence Bridge, but he has failed to follow through. On so many issues that are important to us, the conventional politics has given us nothing but broken promises and broken trust.

In The Enquirer’s Facebook Live announcement that the editorial board was endorsing Clinton, Opinion Editor Cindi Andrews revealed reservations about her candidacy. Andrews is not the only one with these concerns; many don’t trust Clinton. People do not trust government to do what is best for them. They do not wish to give control of their lives to Washington or City Hall, who raise the cost of living while wages remain stagnant. This is why so many have chosen Trump, and why there is such apathy about local political races.

If Donald Trump is elected president, Hamilton County will be in a favorable position to renegotiate the federal government’s unfunded mandate to the Metropolitan Sewer District. I believe that smart leadership from the county and city can even win a waiver from Trump’s EPA, allowing local government to focus on services and delay the most lavish improvements to the sewer system until a funding source can be found.

Democrats and Republicans must work together to address the issues that we face. The culture of stagnation that bogs down our political system is caused by entrenched political leaders like Hillary Clinton, who will unify Republicans in opposition to her agenda. Only Donald Trump can shake up Washington and lead, and I know he will be a friend to Hamilton County.

Political leaders from Washington to Cincinnati aren’t focused on the issues that bring up the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Instead, they are focused on personal feuds and outrage over silly words. We deserve better than this system, and to change it we should all vote for Donald J. Trump.

From the Debate: Trump and Hillary exchange on the Supreme Court

From the Debate: Trump and Hillary exchange on the Supreme Court

From the actual transcripts of the debate:

CLINTON: Thank you. Well, you’re right. This is one of the most important issues in this election. I want to appoint Supreme Court justices who understand the way the world really works, who have real-life experience, who have not just been in a big law firm and maybe clerked for a judge and then gotten on the bench, but, you know, maybe they tried some more cases, they actually understand what people are up against.

Because I think the current court has gone in the wrong direction. And so I would want to see the Supreme Court reverse Citizens United and get dark, unaccountable money out of our politics. Donald doesn’t agree with that.

I would like the Supreme Court to understand that voting rights are still a big problem in many parts of our country, that we don’t always do everything we can to make it possible for people of color and older people and young people to be able to exercise their franchise. I want a Supreme Court that will stick with Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to choose, and I want a Supreme Court that will stick with marriage equality.

Now, Donald has put forth the names of some people that he would consider. And among the ones that he has suggested are people who would reverse Roe v. Wade and reverse marriage equality. I think that would be a terrible mistake and would take us backwards.
I want a Supreme Court that doesn’t always side with corporate interests. I want a Supreme Court that understands because you’re wealthy and you can give more money to something doesn’t mean you have any more rights or should have any more rights than anybody else.

So I have very clear views about what I want to see to kind of change the balance on the Supreme Court. And I regret deeply that the Senate has not done its job and they have not permitted a vote on the person that President Obama, a highly qualified person, they’ve not given him a vote to be able to be have the full complement of nine Supreme Court justices. I think that was a dereliction of duty.

I hope that they will see their way to doing it, but if I am so fortunate enough as to be president, I will immediately move to make sure that we fill that, we have nine justices that get to work on behalf of our people.

RADDATZ: Thank you, Secretary Clinton. Thank you. You’re out of time. Mr. Trump?

TRUMP: Justice Scalia, great judge, died recently. And we have a vacancy. I am looking to appoint judges very much in the mold of Justice Scalia. I’m looking for judges — and I’ve actually picked 20 of them so that people would see, highly respected, highly thought of, and actually very beautifully reviewed by just about everybody.

But people that will respect the Constitution of the United States. And I think that this is so important. Also, the Second Amendment, which is totally under siege by people like Hillary Clinton. They’ll respect the Second Amendment and what it stands for, what it represents. So important to me.

Now, Hillary mentioned something about contributions just so you understand. So I will have in my race more than $100 million put in — of my money, meaning I’m not taking all of this big money from all of these different corporations like she’s doing. What I ask is this.

So I’m putting in more than — by the time it’s finished, I’ll have more than $100 million invested. Pretty much self-funding money. We’re raising money for the Republican Party, and we’re doing tremendously on the small donations, $61 average or so.

I ask Hillary, why doesn’t — she made $250 million by being in office. She used the power of her office to make a lot of money. Why isn’t she funding, not for $100 million, but why don’t you put $10 million or $20 million or $25 million or $30 million into your own campaign?

It’s $30 million less for special interests that will tell you exactly what to do and it would really, I think, be a nice sign to the American public. Why aren’t you putting some money in? You have a lot of it. You’ve made a lot of it because of the fact that you’ve been in office. Made a lot of it while you were secretary of state, actually. So why aren’t you putting money into your own campaign? I’m just curious.
