Obama’s Advisors: Disarm America Through Taxation
by William Lafferty
“The power to tax
involves the power to destroy,” - Chief Justice John Marshall in McCulloch v. Maryland,
1819.
Here’s what Obama’s
advisors are telling him about the way
to confiscate guns: Tax them. They are advising him to tax guns,
ammunition, magazines, and licenses and then attach draconian remedies for
failure to register and pay the taxes. Set
the taxes low the first year, then increase them gradually to the point where a
person owning an AR 15, three magazines and a box of ammo would owe $5,000 a
year in taxes. If
a gun owner doesn’t pay, the small print at the end of the tax law would
subject him to jail and confiscation of everything he owns.
Why
use this approach? Because people ignore gradual change and taxes can be imposed
as a gradual change. It’s only when two things happen simultaneously that
revolution occurs. First, the ideals underlying the society must be undermined.
That has already happened. And second, there must be a spark that ignites
revolt. Since traditions and ideals of the country have already been
compromised, it would be unwise to create any sparks.
Taxes ignite no
sparks. Getting a tax bill is a non-event. Under this taxing approach you
increase taxes to the point no one can pay them, then send a tax bill to the
gun owners you know about (in Pennsylvania, that’s pretty much everyone who
owns a gun), and you wait for someone not to pay. When a preferred target
doesn’t pay, you send the storm troopers to his house, find his guns, and
arrest him. You take the offender’s guns and his house and put him in jail for
twenty years. Then you publicize the arrest and declare a period of amnesty for
other weekend rebels and watch the guns flow in. At
that point, the country will have been effectively disarmed.
Norman Thomas
described America’s descent into socialism very much in the way I have
described America’s descent into gun confiscation:
“The
American people will never knowingly adopt socialism, but under the name of
liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program until one
day America will be a socialist nation without every knowing how it happened.”*
That’s the smart
way to do it, Barack. Get us a little farther down the road to socialism, then quietly tax guns, and finally, take them all. See below

Believe a Politician and You Will Lose Your Money
The president of
Cyprus assured voters that he would never, ever tax their bank accounts. Now he
says the government must do this. Any voter who heard this assurance should
have gone to his bank immediately and withdrawn half of his money. Then he
should have sent another 40% to a German bank. The other 10% he might have left
in his bank to meet existing expenses. Anyone who left all of his money in the
bank was a fool. He trusted the head of the country. What just happened in
Cyprus shows why Americans MUST be concerned about our Nations drift into
socialism and an all powerful government. There are millions of trusting bank
depositors. You are not safe as long as there is a too big and out of control
government that sees YOUR money as a way out of the mess they have
created. Your money and security is not
a left or right posture. It is a liberty
and security posture. Kill off the beast
that is threatening all of us or we shall surely all suffer the SAME
consequences!

When it becomes personal, people have a change of heart
He took a staunch position and refused to budge. Then he had a deeply personal experience that
caused him to have to rethink his position.
After much thought and consideration, he changed his mind. Did you think I was talking about Rob
Portman? No, I'm talking about the
despicable Bill Maher! Sunday, Bill
Maher announced "Taxes Too High on
Rich, Liberals ‘Could Actually Lose Me’"
Even Bill Maher thinks California taxes are
too high. On his HBO show “Real Time” on Friday he was quick to jump in during
a panel discussion on Washington budget proposals, Newsbusters first reported.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow slammed Rep. Paul Ryan’s plan as “a document that says
the big problems in America right now are that rich people do not have enough
money. They need relief from confiscatory tax rates. And poor people have too
much access to affordable health care.”
But the liberal Maher disagreed. "You know what?” Maher responded,
“Rich people … actually do pay the freight in this country." "I just
saw these statistics. I mean, something like 70 percent. And here in
California, I just want to say liberals -- you could actually lose me. It's
outrageous what we're paying -- over 50 percent. I'm willing to pay my share,
but yeah, it's ridiculous."
In 2010 Maher had a different outlook when writing on The Huffington Post, “I've done some math that indicates that, considering the hole this country is in, if you are earning more than a million dollars a year and are complaining about a 3.6% tax increase, then you are by definition a greedy a--hole.” Message to the GOP; high taxes is are not a left/right issue. Everyone suffers under the Obama/Democrat plan to tax and spend. Stop blaming the Democrats and talk to tax payers. "Look at your pay stub. Are you paying enough in taxes?"

John Boehner Says He ‘Absolutely’ Trusts Barack Obama
Mr. Boehner was
asked directly during a Sunday talk show: Do you trust the president?
“Absolutely,” he said, as Politico reported. ABC then reported the follow-up
question: “Absolutely?” And Mr. Boehner repeated: “Absolutely,” as ABC
reported. When I first read this, I was really angry. Then it hit me. We can
all trust Obama. We can trust that
he will tax anything he can, spend the nation into the poor house, demonize
successful people, be anti-capitalist and berate the Constitution as getting in
the way of progress. Yes,
Mr. Boehner we trust Obama to be the socialist pig that he is.

Growing Number of States Eye Bills to Defy Federal Gun
Laws
Shortly after
voters in Colorado and Washington State approved measures that legalized the
recreational use of marijuana, President Obama told Barbara Walters that his
Justice Department would not prosecute pot users in these states. “We’ve got
bigger fish to fry,” Obama said. Although the state measures defy federal law,
it appears Barack Obama is giving each state a pass on this issue.
But, will Obama
also respect states that pass legislation in defiance of federal law when it
comes to firearms? On March 12 and 14, the Senate Judiciary
Committee passed both Sen. Charles Schumer’s (D-NY) “Fix Gun Checks
Act,” which would criminalize all private firearm sales and Sen. Dianne
Feinstein’s (D-CA) “Assault Weapons Ban.” These bills have a long way to go
before they become law – if they ever do – but states across the nation are
introducing their own legislation to preemptively defeat any new federal gun
laws. As you read above, these folks trust Obama
too. To take their second amendment
rights away. Darn constitution getting
in the way again!

Thomas Sowell: Minimum Wage Responsible for High Black
Unemployment
In an appearance on
Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” with fill-in host and Daily Caller editor in chief
Tucker Carlson, black author Thomas Sowell argued that the federal minimum wage law has
been used to undermine companies that employ blacks. In the fourth
quarter of 2012, the black unemployment rate was more than double the rate for
whites. But prior to the 1930s, Sowell said, black unemployment was actually
lower than white unemployment. “What changed was the government
intervention into the labor market,” Sowell said. “1930 was the last year in
which there was no federal minimum wage. They brought in the Davis Bacon Act.”

Obama Administration Caves to Putin on Missile Shield for
Europe
By: Kenneth Hanner
Buried in the news
made late Friday made by Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel that the U.S. planned to
deploy missile interceptors in Alaska and California was the equally important news
that the Obama administration was going to stop long-held plans to fully deploy
a missile shield in Eastern Europe.
The Pentagon insisted that the change in deployment had nothing to do with trying to assuage Russia and everything with the threat from North Korea, which in recent months has sent a long-range missile into space, detonated a nuclear device, and, last week, sent a barrage of missiles into the Sea of Japan. But the issue of the missile shield has long been seen as a sign of NATO's commitment to protect Europe and former Soviet satellite states against a potentially belligerent Russia, which has made the anti-missile deployment a key target in their diplomatic efforts with the U.S.
The U.S. plan had called for interceptors in Poland and Romania, complemented by deployed U.S. naval ships outfitted in the Mediterranean. Hagel said the first three phases would be fully implemented, but the fourth, the deployment of a large interceptor warhead, would not go forward. At a meeting last March in South Korea, Obama told then-Russia President Dmitri Medvedev in remarks picked up by a live microphone that he would have “more flexibility” on the missile shield issue following an election victory. Hagel's decision Friday confirms that Obama may be trying to live up to the promise, resolving a key part of the issue in Russia's favor early in his second term. The Obama administration reportedly believes the move may encourage Russia to additional nuclear arm cuts. The Obama Administration recently offered an olive branch to Russia, indicating it planned to de-activate one-third of the U.S. nuclear arsenal unilaterally and without Congressional approval. The Pentagon said if the fourth phase deployment of the missile shield in East Europe, if re-started, would not take place earlier than 2022.
Russia and the United States have been at odds over a Central Europe-based missile defense system since first proposed by President George W. Bush to protect against missiles from Iran. NATO has argued the system's placement is not solely based on Russia's strategic arsenal, but places interceptors close to the treaty organization's southern flank, able to deflect Iran's growing missile capabilities. Russia has maintained that the system is meant to counter its own missile arsenal. Russia maintains the world's largest nuclear arsenal and continues to modernize and upgrade its missile capabilities.
Hagel also said there were technical difficulties with the system that was set to be deployed in Poland and Romania by early next decade and cited the $1 billion cost of the new North Korea defense system as playing a key role in his decision. Hagel made no reference during the Pentagon announcement to Russia’s objections to the system in Central Europe, but said that the U.S. commitment to missile defense there “remains ironclad.” Republicans in Congress criticized Hagel’s announcement on both fiscal and national security grounds. The President's first and foremost responsibility to the U.S. citizens is to National Defense. As stated above, you can TRUST Obama to NOT have that as a priority! Or worse, deconstructing our National Devense.

Senator Ted Cruz: Defund Obamacare or Shut Down
Government
Senator Ted Cruz
wants to defund ObamaCare or defund the government. The House has already passed a continuing
resolution that would avert a government shutdown that is set to take place on
March 27th, the date that the Continuing Appropriations Resolution
of 2013 expires. Now, the CR is in the
Senate where Senator Ted Cruz offered up an amendment that would remove any
funding for the implementation of Obamacare. Of course, since the Democrats
are all good team players, and since they control the Senate, the amendment
failed. But Senator Ted Cruz pointed out that if the Senate ends up making any
changes to the continuing resolution, they’d have to send it back to the House,
and when they do, the GOP should add an amendment like his that would defund
Obamacare. That way, the President and
the Democrat-controlled Senate are left with the option to either defund
Obamacare or let the government shut down. Their choice. Senator Cruz is playing the game, and
he’s playing it well. But others aren’t being good team players. Boehner
doesn’t want to defund Obamacare. He says he promises he’ll work on repealing
it later, but not now:
“We
have voted many times over the last 2 years that we’ve been in the majority to
defund Obamacare, to repeal Obamacare, and we will do so again here in the
House in the coming months. Our goal here is to cut spending. It’s not to shut
down the government. I believe that trying to put Obamacare on this vehicle
risks shutting down the government. That’s not what our goal is. Our goal here
is to reduce spending.”
The GOP has voted
to defund/repeal Obamacare on 30 different occasions, but not on legislation
that had to pass. In other words, they were no more than symbolic moves
on the GOP’s part to make their constituents happy, knowing that their actions would have no real effects. But at least they could secure their re-elections
and increase their popularity by telling their voters that they voted to repeal
Obamacare. But every time a piece of legislation has to pass in
order to keep the government funded (like the CR), the GOP decides not to touch
Obamacare. If the Senate does indeed make any changes to the CR, and it goes
back to the House, the GOP needs to take Senator Cruz’s lead. This is a perfect opportunity to get rid of
Obamacare. And we shouldn’t replace it with anything. The Obama administration is perfectly
willing to let thousands of criminal illegal aliens go and shut down the White
House tours in order to play their little political games to get what they
want. If they really want to keep Obamacare, they should be willing to let
everything else shut down too. Or, if they really don’t want that, they should
pass the CR with Cruz’s amendment and give up Obamacare. Boehner just needs to get out of the way.

Dr. Ben Carson: Defunding Obamacare: ‘Fine’ By:
Todd Beamon
World-renown
pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Benjamin Carson has no problems with losing
Obamacare in the quest to find a more affordable, efficient, and
patient-friendly healthcare system for the nation.
“There are many more economic models out there that can be used to give us much better healthcare than what we have now,” Carson said on Saturday in a speech to the Conservative Political Action Caucus outside Washington. “If we have to work within the framework of the Affordable Care Act, fine. If we can find a way to defund it, fine.” His Obamacare suggestion brought rousing cheers from the audience at the Gaylord National Resort in Oxon Hill, Md. “We have to find more efficient ways.” Carson, director of pediatric neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, added: “Healthcare is one-sixth of our economy. If the government can control that, they can control anything. We were asleep at the wheel to let it happen,” he said, referring to Obamacare, “but we still have to find a way to make it work.” Carson discussed the importance of health savings accounts in controlling spiraling medical costs. “Eighty percent of the encounters between a patient and a healthcare provider could easily be handled by a health savings account, without the need to insinuate a third party or a bureaucracy that sucks out at least a third of the money,” he said. “There are ways we can do this: We can use bridge insurance and catastrophic insurance.” The famed neurosurgeon, who also announced that he was retiring from medicine this summer, hinted at a possible White House bid. “What if you magically put me in the White House?” he hypothetically posed, also to cheers, in an earlier part of his speech.

America’s altar of abortion
“Congress shall
make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free
exercise thereof. …”
That the First
Amendment requires separation of church and state is an erroneous claim. The
religion clause bars Congress from establishing a national
religion or interfering with citizens’ right to exercise their religion.
Requiring a business owner religiously opposed to the killing of unborn babies
to pay for the killing of unborn babies is a blatant violation. In another
obeying-immoral-laws case, the Roman Catholic owners of Freshway Foods and
Freshway Logistics provide health insurance for employees but exclude coverage
for contraceptives, abortion, and sterilization. The Obama administration
requires the owners to provide such coverage beginning April 1 or face fines.
Christian retailer Hobby Lobby faced a similar choice and said it would not
obey the law. The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) filed
suit on behalf of Freshway’s owners, the Gilardi brothers, seeking a
preliminary injunction. Earlier this month, a federal judge denied the motion.
The Gilardis have a choice: Cover employees’ contraceptives, abortion, and
sterilization—a violation of their religious beliefs—or face millions of
dollars in fines. It reminds me of the
gun-to-your-head dilemma. You can do the awful thing the person says you must
do, or you can take a bullet. A bad choice, but a choice nonetheless. There is a lot being said today about the
low information voter. There is another
concern. The "propagandized"
voter. Are you one of the many Americans that
believe the inaccurate view of the first amendment? If you, the atheist anti
God propagandist have won!!
