In a video obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller,
then-presidential candidate Barack Obama tells an audience of black ministers,
including the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, that the U.S. government shortchanged
Hurricane Katrina victims because of racism. “The people down in New Orleans
they don’t care about as much!” Obama shouts in the video, which was shot in
June of 2007 at Hampton University in Virginia. By contrast, survivors of Sept.
11 and Hurricane Andrew received generous amounts of aid, Obama explains. The
reason? Unlike residents of majority-black New Orleans, the federal government
considers those victims “part of the American family.” The racially charged and
at times angry speech undermines Obama’s carefully-crafted image as a leader
eager to build bridges between ethnic groups. For nearly 40 minutes, using an
accent he almost never adopts in public, Obama describes a racist, zero-sum
society, in which the white majority profits by exploiting black America.
The mostly black audience shouts in agreement. The effect is closer to an Al
Sharpton rally than a conventional campaign event.

90%
of US Households Face Huge Tax Hike Next Year
On November 7th, while cleaning crews are still
tidying up from election night parties, America's political class will be
hurling themselves into another essential battle over government spending,
taxes and debt. On January 2nd, 2013, absent some kind of budget deal, America
will fall off the "fiscal cliff" and face a massive tax increase and
across the board cuts in government spending. Like most crisis these days, it's
a creation of politicians. An average middle-class household — making
between around $40,000 to $65,000 — would see an almost $2,000 tax hike next
year, while those making under $20,000 a year would see their bill rise by an
average of just over $400. Both groups would see their after-tax income drop by
around four percent.

Want You to Think the Election is Over
Some shocking news in the Drive-By Media today. The
election is over. Mitt
Romney has lost. It’s all over out there. Actually, that’s not the case.
The polls today are starting to tighten up exactly as predicted here. Now we’re
into October. The debate is Wednesday night. Have you noticed what’s going on
with this? The DNC and Howard Dean and a number of others… Even Obama himself
is saying, “Mitt’s a much better debater than I am.” They’re really out there lowering
expectations for Obama in the debate on Wednesday night, and he’s got a tough
task. I mean, the guy can do nothing but lie, which is what he does anyway.
It’s gonna be fascinating to me to see how Romney deals with that. Yeah, AP
says that Obama has 271 electoral votes today. So I don’t know why they’re
gonna do the debate. First, second, or third. Why are they gonna mess with it?

Bernanke
defends QE3, tells Congress to butt out of the Fed
The chairman cautioned Congress against adopting a
law that would allow it to review the Fed’s interest-rate policy discussions.
The House has passed legislation to give Congress’ investigative arm broader
authority to audit the Fed, including reviewing its interest-rate policymaking.
The Senate hasn’t adopted the bill. Bernanke warned that such a step would
improperly inject political pressure into the Fed’s private deliberations and
make officials less likely to act. Just the behavior one would expect out of
such a powerful group that is not part of the government, but has huge impact
on your financial wellbeing.

Murder Our Troops and Pathetic Pentagon Blames Us
By PAUL SPERRY
Afghan security forces, our supposed allies, are
slaughtering American troops. Thirty-three soldiers have been killed by “green
on blue” attacks this year alone. The situation is so bad that the training of
Afghan forces has been temporarily suspended. How has the Pentagon responded?
By blaming our troops. Top officials believe culturally offensive behavior is
the motivation behind the killings, so it’s stepped up Islamic sensitivity
training for our troops. If you don’t want to be shot in the back by your
Afghan training partners, the Pentagon advises, don’t offend their religious
sensibilities. Folks, you cannot make this stuff up!

Jets owner: I’d rather Romney win – than the Jets!
Jets owner Woody Johnson, in a Monday appearance on
Bloomberg Television’s Market Makers, addressed whether he prefers a win by
Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney or a winning season from
Johnson’s Jets. “Well I think you always have to put country first, so I think
it’s very, very important that not only for us but for particularly our kids
and grandkids that this election comes off with Mitt Romney and [Paul] Ryan as
president and vice-president,” Johnson said.
Nice to hear a powerful person speaking the hard truth and willing to
accept the consequences!

Plants Roots Of Communism In White House Through Advisors by
Leon Puissegur
It
is not just about Obama...it is about the many radicals that he has place in
key positions throughout his administration!
We begin with Valerie Jarrett, as we had
described some of her background before. In a recent article in World News
Direct called, “Communist disinformation, American-style Shocking
revolutionary roots not just of Obama, but top advisers Jarrett and Axelrod
too” by Paul Kengor. We discover that David
Axelrod’s mother, had ties to the Communist Party and that David Axelrod
had begun his political movement at the young age of 13 when he sold Campaign
and bumper stickers promoting Robert Kennedy for President. David Axelrod then
went on to earn his B.A. in political studies at Chicago University. In 1982,
he had his first contact with a man named Don Rose whom was a founder of the
pro-communist Hyde Park Voices. All we have to do is look at some of Obama’s
own words to see just where he is going and what he has been taught by those he
surrounds himself with. Let us not forget that he placed a very well known
Communist, Van Jones into his group at the White House and only got rid of
him after nearly all Obama’s associates could not take any more heat about
having a very well known Communist sitting in on meetings at the White House.
Now in November, “we the people” must decide if we wish to carry on with a man
whom shuns our nation in favor of our enemies or get rid of this devil before
he totally destroys our nation. It is up to us and if we allow Obama to get
back in office, this may well be the last free election and the end of
the United States, as we know it!

U.S. Commander in Afghanistan: We’re Willing to Fight – But ‘Not Willing to Be
Murdered' By
Susan Jones
Gen.
John Allen, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, says he's "mad as
hell" about the increasing number of insider attacks, in which Afghan
soldiers and police murder the Americans who are trying to train them.
"You know, we're willing to sacrifice a lot for this campaign. But we're
not willing to be murdered for it," Gen. Allen told CBS' "60 Minutes" in a segment that aired on
Sunday. Gen. Allen told CBS Correspondent Lara Logan that the insider attacks
will continue: "The enemy recognizes this is a vulnerability. You know, in
Iraq, the signature weapon system that we hadn't seen before was the IED. We
had to adjust to that. Here, I think the signature attack that we're
beginning to see the -- is going to be the insider attack." Allen also
said "the vast majority” of Afghans are "with us in this." He
noted that a number of Afghans have been killed trying to save NATO forces from
rogue Afghans. A Taliban commander -- described as a specialist in suicide
bombings who was trained by al Qaeda -- also spoke to "60 Minutes,"
telling Lara Logan that the Taliban is behind the insider attacks: "These
are Taliban attacks," the unnamed man said. "This is part of our new
military strategy. We have our people in the Afghan police and the army. And
the orders come from the top."

Ryan:
Obama running on division, distraction and distortion
Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will
argue in the first debate that President Obama has taken the nation in the
wrong direction and the GOP is offering the best choice for voters, Paul Ryan
said in an interview on Fox News Sunday.
This election is about “stagnation versus growth, dependency versus
opportunity and upward mobility. That’s the classic choice, the difference
we’re offering and we hope what people get out of that debate is that choice,”
Ryan said. The Wednesday debate will showcase “who is Mitt Romney, what kind of
president will he be and what choice do I have,” he said.

Central
Bank Narrative Grinds On via AP
Ben Bernanke makes strong defense of Federal
Reserve's rate policies ... Chairman Ben Bernanke offered a wide-ranging
defense of the Federal Reserve's aggressive policies to stimulate the
still-weak economy. The Fed needs to drive down long-term borrowing rates
because the economy isn't growing fast enough to reduce high unemployment,
Bernanke said in a speech to the Economic Club of Indiana. The unemployment
rate is 8.1 per cent. Low rates could also help shrink the federal budget
deficit by easing the government's borrowing costs and generating tax revenue
from stronger growth, Bernanke argued. – AP We cover elite promotions that
support expansive government, and no single such meme is more important than
the necessity for central banking. It is central banking that evidently and
obviously funds the push toward world government. The same never-mentioned
elites (in the mainstream press, anyway) who control central banking via the
centralized Bank for International Settlements have used the astounding volume
of Money Power to build a global governmental infrastructure. At the
beginning of the 20th century there were very few central banks. Now there
are 150 plus the Bank for International Settlements. This story from AP,
one of the central mechanisms of elite media control, illustrates once again
how the central banking meme works. The article is devoid of any significant
frame of reference. It simply reports Ben Bernanke's point of view without
referencing what many economists believe to be true – even Keynesian ones –
that absurdly low interest rates create bubbles.

Post‘s Fact Checker Debunks Obama’s Latest Bush-Blaming Ad by Becket Adams
At
the root of the Fact Checker article is President Obama‘s claim that Mitt
Romney’s support for “bigger tax cuts for the wealthy” and “fewer regulations
on Wall Street” will take us back to the “same trickle-down policies that led to the crisis in the first place.”
As the WaPo’s Glenn Kessler notes, the name “George W. Bush“ is never mentioned
”but is certainly implied,” meaning the president is more or less trying to
paint Romney as another Bush. But let‘s put aside the specifics of Romney’s tax
plan (what little there are) and his stance on Wall Street reform and focus on
the notion that tax cuts and deregulation caused the Great Recession. Did the Bush-era tax cuts lead to the
meltdown? To put it bluntly, there is nothing to support this claim. Indeed, Ezra Klein, the sole source cited
by the Obama campaign on this statement, is quoted as saying “I am absolutely
not saying the Bush tax cuts led to the financial crisis. To my knowledge,
there’s no evidence of that.” “Klein is right. While some on the left have
speculated about some kind of Rube Goldberg phenomenon — that the tax cuts put
so much money in the pockets of the rich that they had nothing to spend it on
but risky and exotic financial instruments — we are unaware of any respected
academic study
making this link,” Kessler writes.
“The Bush tax cuts have been amply criticized for
costing too much and generating too little economic growth, but that’s
entirely different from causing the Great Recession,” he adds. And as for President Obama implying
Bush-era deregulation led to the financial crisis, Kessler points out that the
631-page final report of the National Commission on the Causes of the Financial
and Economic Crisis in the United States notes deregulation may have played a
role in the meltdown — but it was about three decades’ worth. In response to critics who argue the
Great Recession wasn’t caused by just Bush-era tax cuts and “deregulation,” the
Obama campaign claims the president was saying all of Bush’s policies
created the crisis. However, even if that were true, it’s certainly not clear
in the video. “Obama mentions only two
things: tax cuts and deregulation,” Kessler notes. “He then adds that such ‘trickle-down
policies’ led to the crisis — and ‘trickle down’ is Democratic pejorative for
‘tax cuts for the rich.’”
So
what’s the final verdict?
“It
is time for the Obama campaign to retire
this talking point, no matter how much it seems to resonate with voters. The
financial crisis of 2008 stemmed from a variety of complex factors, in
particular the bubble in housing prices and the rise of exotic financial
instruments,” Kessler writes.
“Deregulation
was certainly an important factor, but as the government commission concluded,
the blame for that lies across administrations, not just in the last Republican
one,” he adds.
He continues:
In any case, the Bush tax cuts belong at the bottom of the list — if at
all. Moreover, it is rather strange for the campaign to cite as its source an
article that, according to the author, does not support this assertion. We nearly made this Four Pinocchios
but ultimately decided that citing deregulation in conjunction with tax cuts
kept this line out of the “whopper” category. Still, in his effort to portray
Romney as an echo of Bush, the president really stretches the limits here.

Survey:
Doctors Support Romney Over Obama 55 to 36%
Among doctors more likely to support President Obama
were women as well as physicians employed by hospitals and health systems.
Specialists, primarily psychiatrists, pediatricians and addiction medicine
physicians also were more likely to support Obama. Male doctors and those with
their own practice or who had a stake in their own practice as well as
anesthesiologists, surgeons, radiologists and ophthalmologists were more likely
to support Romney. The President’s support has waned among physicians since
2008 when he drew 40 percent of their vote compared to 44 percent for John
McCain. Turnout among physicians is also likely to increase compared to 2008,
as eight percent reported they didn’t vote in 2008, yet only 1 percent of
doctors said they would not cast a ballot in the November Presidential
election. “Doctors are highly motivated this year to have their voice heard,
particularly after passage of the Affordable Care Act,” said Sandy Garrett,
president of Jackson & Coker. “No doubt, the health care law has stirred
many passions in the medical community.”
When asked how they felt about the Affordable Care Act, 55 percent
said “repeal and replace” the new law while 40 percent said “implement and
improve” the ACA.
