President Trump issued an Executive Order in September 2018 addressing foreign intervention in our elections. [who knew why then?] This order will soon be in the spotlight as more evidence comes out about foreign actors (like China) infiltrating the US through dirty politicians and especially the Bidens.

 

When President Trump on September 12, 2018 issued an Executive Order (EO) that covered foreign interference in the US election process. Breitbart reported on the EO when it came out:

 

“President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order that seeks to prevent and punish foreign interference in U.S. elections. The executive order, which would impose sanctions on individuals, entities, or countries, was announced by National Security Adviser John Bolton during a White House conference call.”

 

The Order begins by describing the actions of foreigners in our elections involved in undermining public confidence in the elections including accessing the election infrastructure or distributing propaganda.

 

Then the Order goes on to state the DNI (currently John Ratcliffe) is to create a report due 45 days after the election (which is December 18th) to address any Americans working with foreign entities or foreign entities messing with our elections. [Ratcliffe flew with Trump to the Army/Navy game]

 

The order includes strict penalties on those foreign entities or individuals who interfere in our elections, including the ability to take away property and interests from those entities or individuals in the US.

 

In recent days and weeks, we have heard of numerous instances here foreigners were or may have been interfering in US affairs and perhaps even our elections:

 

We have had numerous articles about Dominion, a Canadian Company, with operations overseas and the machines they produced for US elections.  Yesterday we even discovered that part of the hardware sold with the Dominion system, a connectivity device, allows remote access to the machines and is related to a French Company owned by a Chinese company.

And now today, the US Senate released documents related to Hunter Biden and the Biden family’s conflicts of interest with China and the Bidens’ criminal, financial, counterintelligence and extortion concerns with the Ukraine and China:

Now he’s saying he would “transition” America away from oil — which can’t be done without the fracking ban he claims to oppose.  Keep in mind: the oil and gas industry is essential to the American economy. In Texas alone, it provides more than 400,000 direct jobs and more than a million indirect jobs, while funding education and preventing the need for an income tax. Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia — every state benefits substantially from oil and gas, in one way or another. The Biden campaign is now saying their boss didn’t really mean it. But we know that does not matter, because The Cabal that will really be running the country WILL ban oil and gas. It is a basic demand of the liberal left. Joe Biden has shown basically no willingness to buck the Socialist-wing of the Democratic Party, no matter how many millions of Americans it hurts. This is not the most egregious plan by the left, but it will come fast and be devastating!

Simple logic explains why: By raising taxes and regulatory burdens on job creators, companies of all sizes will find it harder to expand or stay in business.  - Wages. Biden’s tax-and-spend plan would take $6,500 off the median household income within the next 10 years. Once again, the cause is clear: When the government takes more of people’s money, families have less to spend and save.  - Growth. Biden would repeat the mistakes of the Obama years, leading to a painfully slow economic recovery. By 2030, the economy would be nearly 10% smaller than expected. That’s $2.6 trillion in lost innovation and lost progress for everyone. - Family Budgets. Consideration of a nomination is scheduled by the majority leader, who typically consults with the minority leader and all interested Senators. In previous Congresses, the typical practice in calling up a Supreme Court nomination was for the majority leader to consult with the minority leader and interested Senators and to ask for unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to executive session and consider the nomination. The leader asked for unanimous consent to proceed to executive session to consider the nomination immediately or at some specified time in the future

When unanimous consent to call up a nomination has not been secured, the majority leader may make a motion that the Senate proceed to consider the nomination. As already explained, such a motion is made while the Senate is in legislative session. The motion is not debatable. Since 1980, the Senate has explicitly established the precedent that a nondebatable motion may be made to go into executive session to take up a specified nomination. One congressional scholar observed that the precedent limits a potential filibuster to the nomination itself.

Supporters of a Court nomination have available to them a procedure for placing time limits on consideration of a matter—the motion to invoke cloture. When the Senate agrees to a cloture motion, further consideration of the matter being debated is limited to 30 hours. The majority required for cloture on nominations, including Supreme Court nominations is a majority of Senators voting, a quorum being present. By invoking cloture, the Senate ensures that a nomination may ultimately come to a vote and be decided by a voting majority.

 Biden’s Disastrous Plan for American Energy

In Pennsylvania this week, Joe Biden asked: “Do I look like a radical socialist?” The better question is whether the socialists who are gaining power in the Democratic Party are exerting a greater influence on Biden’s platform. The answer is clearly yes.

Since Biden was in Pennsylvania to talk about energy policy, it is worth starting there.

 Fracking. Which Joe Biden should Americans believe on fracking: the one who said he would “make sure it’s eliminated” and agreed with the socialist Bernie Sanders that it should be banned, saying “no more”? Or the Biden who now says the opposite?

It is telling that Kamala Harris, his VP pick, favors the total fracking ban that’s part of the Green New Deal. So do the socialist activists who increasingly dominate the Democratic Party. It is hard to see Joe Biden standing up to them, especially since he’s already caved to their demands to move further left.

Green New Deal. Joe Biden avoids saying he supports the Green New Deal demanded by the Democratic Party’s most radical wing. But activists and journalists have spent months pointing out that Biden’s energy plan is the Green New Deal in all but the name.

It’s true: Biden’s $2 trillion plan would raise electricity prices on families, dole out untold billions of dollars in corporate welfare to politically-favored energy companies, and put America back in the Paris Climate Accord — hurting our economy while strengthening adversaries like China. No matter what he calls it, Biden’s energy plan is a raw deal for Americans.

When Joe Biden was vice president to Barack Obama, they enacted some of the most economically harmful energy policies in American history. Four years later, the Democratic Party is even more extreme on energy, and Biden is set to go with the radical flow. The losers will be the millions of Americans who could soon be paying more, losing jobs, and facing blackouts.
