Myth Buster: Washington is not run by a bunch of experts!

With all the problems that go on in our government the public’s view that Washington is full of highly talented experts has to be considered delusional.  This, in face of the polls showing likely voters have little to no confidence in the government to do anything right. Moreover, the shocking thing is half the nation looks to the government when bad things happen. Why?  

Maybe there was a day when the few things the government did, they did well.   Those days are long gone along with the small and manageable government of those times. Our nation has become so large there we do not have a government with the talent capable of solving all the countries problems.  In fact, there is evidence that as the world and the economies have become more complex governments are failing around the world to solve problems. The U.S. is no different.

The best and the brightest in this country are busy running things.  They own businesses or run large corporations or inventing the next big technology breakthrough.  You get the picture. One thing for sure, they are not Washington bureaucrats!

So, when anyone or any politician tries to defend an ever larger Federal Government, think about it.  Do you want experts solving problems or some less than stellar Washington bureaucrat writing and making complex decisions that directly impact you and your country?
