The news they didn't see fit to print

The pursuit of Constitutionally grounded governance, freedom and individual liberty

The top 40 percent of households by before-tax income actually paid 106.2 percent of the nation’s net income taxes in 2010, according to a new study by the Congressional Budget Office.

At the same time, households in the bottom 40 percent took in an average of $18,950 in what the CBO called “government transfers” in 2010.

Taxpayers in the top 40 percent of households were able to pay more than 100 percent of net federal income taxes in 2010 because Americans in the bottom 40 percent actually paid negative income taxes, according to the CBO study entitled, “The Distribution of Household Income and Federal Taxes, 2010.

“When refundable tax credits, such as the earned income tax credit and the child tax credit, exceed the other federal tax liabilities of the households in an income group, those households are said to have a negative average tax rate,” said the CBO study.

Thanks to the Prophet Mohammed’s violent antipathy for women — rape in the Islamic world is commonplace. From Indonesia to Egypt the defilement of females as young as two years of age takes place with chilling impunity.

Muslim men (following the prophet’s paradigm) believe it is there duty to brutally  subjugate women. These sexually convoluted animals think nothing of raping, torturing and then beheading their innocent victims.

Just last week our friends at Bare Naked Islam reported a heartbreaking story about a 15 year old Syrian girl who was ganged raped by a mob of Syrian rebels and then subsequently slaughtered in the most heinous fashion.

Her only crimes: Being female and Christian.

Feeling chilly? Here's cold comfort: You could be in East Antarctica which new data says set a record for "soul-crushing" cold.

Try 135.8 degrees Fahrenheit below zero; that's 93.2 degrees below zero Celsius, which sounds only slightly toastier. Better yet, don't try it. That's so cold scientists say it hurts to breathe.

A new look at NASA satellite data revealed that Earth set a new record for coldest temperature recorded. It happened in August 2010 when it hit -135.8 degrees. Then on July 31 of this year, it came close again: -135.3 degrees.

The old record had been -128.6 degrees, which is -89.2 degrees Celsius.

Solving the Income Inequality Puzzle

By Michael Busler

In a recent speech, President Obama said that income inequality is the "defining issue of our time." He further said that the decline in economic mobility by the lower classes is a direct consequence of inequality and that the lack of opportunity is out of sync with the country's founding values. He also noted that inequality poses a "fundamental threat" to "our very way of life."

Nobel Prize winning economist Joe Stieglitz says that the problem is so bad that if we do not act quickly, we risk becoming "two societies living side by side, but hardly knowing each other." In fact, he says action is needed immediately.

And they are right.

Exclusive: Joseph Farah shares quotes from late South African president

I noticed over the weekend that lists of quotes from Nelson Mandela had gone viral on the Internet.  None of the lists I saw included any of these – which say more about the man and the myth than you could have learned by reading all the reports in the international establishment press.

A veteran Washington adviser who has worked for four Presidents on both sides of the political aisle said that the stunning Government Accountability Report that found President Barack Obama has not had a one-on-one meeting with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius since the passage of Obamacare over three years ago is an indictment of the entire White House operation and shows that the Obama administration has bordered on "malfeasance."

"I have no doubt the White House is right, that Secretary Sebelius was in several group meetings with the president about health care," Gergen caveat, "but the whole point is, there was nobody in charge in the administration."
