The news they didn't see fit to print!

The pursuit of Constitutionally grounded governance, freedom and individual liberty
"There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily." --George Washington

Paul Krugman Consigns To Hell An Economic Slump Of His Own Devise ... Public intellectual Paul Krugman recently consigned to Hell, in a New York Times op-ed column entitled A Permanent Slump, the world economy. He wrote: ...
"[W]hat if the world we've been living in for the past five years is the new normal? What if depression-like conditions are on track to persist, not for another year or two, but for decades?" Yes. What if? And what if Paul Krugman is one of the chief architects of these depression-like conditions? As this columnist recently wrote, about Professor Niall Ferguson's dismissal of Prof. Krugman from polite company, "Krugman's horns now forever will show under his dislodged faux halo." Prof. Krugman? As Christopher Marlow so elegantly put it in Dr. Faustus, Yes, Prof. Krugman, this is economic Hell. Nor are you out of it. There is abundant evidence that you had, and have, a material role in producing this Hell. – Forbes

When George W. Bush was president of the United States, many of the left fell prey to what columnist Charles Krauthammer called "Bush Derangement Syndrome": "the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency — nay — the very existence of George W. Bush."

With Bush out of office, BDS has waned somewhat. Unfortunately, it has been replaced by a converse condition, just as grave and dangerous to the mental stability of its victims: "Obama Worship Syndrome." Primarily affecting low-information voters and members of the mainstream media, Obama Worship Syndrome attributes impossible capabilities to Obama's political opponents, finds excuses for every Obama failure in everyone around him and praises the president as the finest politician — nay, human being — of our time.

The following is satire.
(DEARBORN, MI) — An anguished wife along with many Muslims are blaming the world’s largest religion and vowing revenge after an immigrant from Tunisia was trampled to death during a stampede at a Walmart the day after Thanksgiving.

Forty-eight-year-old Kafon Farhuk, a cardiologist, was granted asylum in the United States along with his wife, Selima, and their four children last year, claiming they were in increasing in danger since the overthrow of Tunisia’s former regime in January of 2011.  Farhuk was excited to become a U.S. citizen and was looking forward to learning as much about America’s traditions and customs as possible, according to the doctor’s family.   That curiosity unfortunately cost the refugee’s life on Black Friday, the infamous nationwide shopping day after Thanksgiving.

Why do some atheists embarrass themselves year after year trying to eradicate Christmas from American culture?

Remember back a year or two? All we heard were complaints by the left that racism was driving the Republican effort for new “more restrictive” voter ID laws. How the poor and minority communities would be effectively locked out of the 2012 elections.

In April 2012, a guy wrote a piece on the website “Sojourners.” Their motto: Faith in Action for Social Justice. That’s not scary!
