The pursuit of Constitutionally grounded governance, freedom
and individual liberty
"There
is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it
steadily." --George

How can anyone that earns an income
and runs a household not understand their government is out of control. The consequences which will destroy not only
the country, but them with it. The U.S.
public debt (the total of all annual budget deficits) now exceeds $17 trillion
and is climbing rapidly. By the time President Obama leaves office, the public
debt will likely be more than $20 trillion which is almost double what it was
when Obama took office. In other words the current President will
have incurred almost as much debt as all other 43 presidents combined. Why is
the debt so big?

Scientists recently found blood remnants
in a mosquito fossil trapped in a supposed 46-million-year-old
rock.1 Could blood really last that long?
Publishing in the Proceedings
of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), the researchers reported that
they detected iron three times inside the fossil mosquito’s abdomen, which
strongly suggests the presence of still-fresh hemoglobin.

Krauthammer
Leaves Jon Stewart Stunned with Defense of Conservatism
On Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer faced off against left-leaning show anchor Jon Stewart on conservative ideology and the way it is presented. In this rare appearance on Stewart’s program, Krauthammer was promoting his new book, “Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes, and Politics,” and explained how in working on the book he realized when he had made the transformation from liberal to conservative. According
to information released at a May 9, 2013 press conference by the
families of Navy SEALs killed in an August 2011 helicopter shoot-down in
Afghanistan, "military brass prohibited any mention of a Judeo-Christian
God" and "invited a Muslim cleric to the funeral for the fallen Navy SEAL
Team VI, heroes who disparaged in Arabic the memory of these servicemen by
damning them as infidels to Allah."

In mid-October The Washington
Examiner reported that Federal Officials only considered one firm
to build the epic fail now known as healthcare.gov. When that story
broke, you had to suspect that someone probably had a kickback coming. Richard
Pollock reported on October 13th:
######
CGI Federal Inc., the mastermind
behind healthcare.gov, is assisting the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) in the distribution of $1.7 billion in relief for Hurricane
Sandy.

There is an interesting piece in The
Hill about five incumbent Democrats who are worried about what Obamacare means
for their chances of getting re-elected.
Five vulnerable Democratic incumbents who this week called
for extending the law’s enrollment period and delaying penalties for not
signing up on time come from states where voters hold unfavorable views of the
law. Some Democratic strategists, however, argue the issue is not as potent as
Republicans think and predict it could boomerang on conservatives who have
pushed for a full repeal of the law without offering detailed proposals to
replace it.
But this seems to be comparing
apples and oranges. How the American people poll nationally
isn’t going to help those five Democratic incumbents in their states. They
aren’t elected by the nation. They have to each win the votes in each of their
areas.
