Obama "Wag The Dog"
The
drama and failure of the administration's action surrounding the "Syrian
War" begs the question is the administration guilty of "Wag the
Dog". (Those of you not familiar
with the term, look it up). I'm not going into the weeds on this, just want to
make a very sharp point for people to ponder.
Behavior gives away character and motive. So, for those familiar with the phrase Wag
the Dog realize Obama did not have to hire a movie production unit. All he had to do was concoct a story around
a real event. In fact a real horrific
event. A simple review of the
behavior and unfolding events brings one closer to believing Obama has tried the
"Wag the Dog" tactic to manipulate the public:
-
First and foremost is the most surprised people in the world
was his staff. Taking sole military
action against Syria supposedly was a result of a 45 minute walk "around
the White House grounds".
-
Suddenly we were faced with an Obama and Kerrey with rabid impatience to take
immediate reaction.
-
Our allies were not adequately consulted and neither was congress.
-
After denying vehemently he did not need congressional "approval",
Obama suddenly asks. This while being resolute he did not need congressional
approval.
-
Finally he is so relieved that Putin took the reins
and avoided military action. All in all,
making a fool of the President.
What is one left to think? I
know what I think and it is not good.
