Pentagon Has Awarded Contracts To Al-Qaeda In Afghanistan - Steve Watson
Has Obama become the global head of terrorist networks?

A new independent report reveals that lucrative U.S. military contracts have been granted to militant groups in Afghanistan with direct connections to the Taliban and Al-Qaeda. The report, submitted to Congress by the U.S. Army Suspension and Debarment Office, states that American officials are citing “due process rights” as a reason not to cancel the agreements with the extremists.  A Bloomberg article quotes John Sopko, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, who notes:
“I am deeply troubled that the U.S. military can pursue, attack, and even kill terrorists and their supporters, but that some in the U.S. government believe we cannot prevent these same people from receiving a government contract,”
The report continues:
An audit showed that after 16 months, none of the agency’s essential program objectives have been reached and the money spent has mostly financed workshops and training sessions. The project is aimed at bolstering Afghanistan’s government before troop withdrawals planned for next year. “It’s troubling that after 16 months, this program has not issued its first community grant,” Sopko said. “Rather, it has spent almost $50 million, about a quarter of the total program budget, on conferences, overhead and workshops.”
Regarding the 43 cases of contractors with militant connections, Sopko said the Army should “enforce the rule of common sense” in its suspension and debarment program. “They may be enemies of the United States but that is not enough to keep them from getting government contracts,” according to the agency’s report. So there you have it, while the Obama administration is funding, equipping, and training al Qaeda extremists in Syria to overthrow the Assad government, it is also awarding contracts to al Qaeda after a decade plus long war against “the terrorists” in Afghanistan. Obama truly is the global head of Al Qaeda – bankrolling, arming and equipping terrorists around the world in order to achieve his administration’s geopolitical objectives – while simultaneously invoking the threat of terrorists domestically to destroy the bill of rights.

Should Jesse Jackson Pay in Court for calling Florida a Racist Apartheid State? By Kevin Fobbs
There a serious disconnect between Jesse Jackson and the American public when it comes to the 21st century and the turbulent times of the civil rights movement of the 1960s where he still lives. On Tuesday, while in Florida, Jackson decided to once again stir up Floridians and the nation by labeling the state as the “the Selma of our time,”. What is indeed tragic about his statement is that the countless dozens of civil rights Selma marchers that fought and died during those horrific battles in 1965 to win civil rights have been cheapened by his mutterings. Jackson has once again proven why he has outlived his usefulness as well as his time on the national stage.

It should have been beneath Jesse Jackson to try and drum up old dated memories of a civil rights era that does not exist any longer. What is perplexing is how Jackson could work his lips to utter his old brand of racism based upon the jury’s diligent application of the law to the presented facts. Instead Jackson wants the new-old standard to be one based on having a jury use their personal feelings about Trayvon Martin and how they should consider that he might have been their child. Yet is that not the very standard that was used by many southern juries in the past to unjustly convict black defendants? Were not all white juries using that standard when prosecutors asked them to “let their conscience and their feelings be their guide” in determining the innocence or guilt of the black defendant? Well most students of history know well the outcome when application of the law was tossed out the window in those cases.

Now here come the race hustlers who still are trying to stretch their 15 or 20 years of civil rights celebrity into a lifetime hustle. Jackson somehow insists that the laws not be applied to the facts and throw all the progress of civil rights advocacy for colorblind justice right out the window. The state of Florida and the American people are much smarter than that. Facts and the law do matter despite what Jackson thinks. In reality all of the rabble rousing and use of sheer race demagoguery by Jesse cheapens the meaning and accomplishments of the civil rights movement. He added insult to injury by comparing Florida to the racial segregationist practices that existed in South Africa which led to the rise of leaders like Nelson Mandela. There was no racism in the Zimmerman decision, and even Trayvon’s mother stated that race was not the point of the trial. So where is the fire Jesse!

Somehow Rev. Jackson made that illogical leap from South Africa and its segregationist practices and applied it to the entire state of Florida. This is truly reprehensible. Of course as is the case in all of Jackson’s off the cuff pronouncements, he tosses verbal firebomb insults to serves his purpose but offers no facts or evidence. The state’s Governor, Rick Scott is quoted as saying, “Jesse Jackson owes every Floridian an apology for his reckless and divisive comments,”  Governor Scott is absolutely correct. The racially divisive behavior by Jackson and his partner in racial divisiveness Al Sharpton should be held accountable by the people of Florida. The Zimmerman trial should never have seen a Sanford, Florida courtroom. Had it not been for the inciting actions of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, there would have been no national outcry over a made-up race based trial. The tax payers of Sanford, Florida should be handing the bill for the cost of the trial to Al Sharpton as well as Jesse Jackson. In addition, the harassment and infamous demonization of George Zimmerman by Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson deserves a civil lawsuit where they are put on trial for personal damage to Zimmerman’s reputation and his livelihood.

This is an important turning point for the nation and these outdated civil rights talking heads have to be held accountable for their maligning. They should not be allowed the protection of the U.S. Constitution’s Freedom of Speech when they cause intentional and foreseeable harm. It appears clear that both Jackson and Sharpton fully intend to continue to do personal harm to Zimmerman through their character assassination of him.  In addition, the attacks that have resulted on innocent white citizens in a variety of states since the end of the trial can be logically laid at the feet of both men. Sharpton advocated for marches and for some type of retribution against Zimmerman with his not so clever use of words like, calling for a “Justice for Trayvon National Day of Action,” the Saturday after the verdict. He called for protests rise up in 100 cities, which were probably in the cities that carry his MSNBC show. Will Sharpton or Jackson pay for the injuries to those who were targeted by black teens because they were white or looked white? Will he ante up and pay for their medical bills or funeral services by youth who were yelling slogans like “This is for Trayvon!” Is this the America that Jackson and Sharpton should be allowed to continue to foment their racist demonization attacks in? Should their ability to incite violence instead of promoting racial healing continue without any legal repercussions?

America deserves responsibility and leadership from those who use their political pulpit to create an issue where none exists and causes harm to innocents. Florida is not Selma nor is it an Apartheid state. Therefore absent an apology that will never come from Jackson’s lips, Zimmerman and the state of Florida should take this pretender to court and force him to put up or shut up.

Hoyer Blasts Republicans on Taxes, Debt Ceiling: We need revenue to allow Congress to continue to borrow and spend more money By Ryan Kierman
House Democrat Minority Whip Steny Hoyer openly criticized House Republicans’ resistance to raising the debt ceiling during his weekly Capitol Hill press briefing, bluntly stating that the federal government “need[s] more revenue. If we don’t have additional revenues to invest and grow in jobs, I don’t think that’s the kind of policy that the president’s for or I’m for,” Hoyer said, as he argued for once again raising the debt ceiling , which would allow Congress to continue to borrow and spend more money.

“This (113th) has been the least productive Congress in which I have served, exceeding the last Congress. The past seven months have been wasted,” Hoyer complained, citing recently-introduced legislation that would mark House Republicans’ 40th attempt to repeal Obamacare, “which is not going to happen and they know it’s not going to happen.”  Hoyer also made light of the results of the 2010 mid-term congressional election, in which Republican candidates around the country rode into Washington on a wave of popular discontent with the Democratic agenda. The GOP won six Senate seats and 63 seats in the House in that election, the largest turnover since 1948. Republicans also gained a record 680 seats in state legislative races. But Hoyer, who lost his own position as House Majority Leader in the 2010 power shakeup, dismissed the electoral results as a voter “tantrum.” “The country had a civic tantrum,” Hoyer stated. “It was mad as hell and wouldn’t take it. And it reflected that and elected this Congress, which in the House has continued its leadership, and I would say has continued in some degree the tantrum, and stamping its feet, yelling and screaming, but not getting anything done. Tantrums aren’t very productive.”  Hoyer made it clear what he considers “productive” congressional action: “My own view is we need more revenue.”

More Junk Science: Global Warming Produces Violence, “Science” Reports.  by Gary North
Yes, my friends, climate change does this. We know this now. Heat does it. Of course, there has been no increase in world temperatures since 1998, but global warming could create violence. Maybe. Possibly.  Shifts in climate are strongly linked to increases in violence around the world, a study suggests.
US scientists found that even small changes in temperature or rainfall correlated with a rise in assaults, rapes and murders, as well as group conflicts and war. The team says with the current projected levels of climate change, the world is likely to become a more violent place.
The study is published in Science. Marshall Burke, from the University of California, Berkeley, said: “This is a relationship we observe across time and across all major continents around the world. The relationship we find between these climate variables and conflict outcomes are often very large.” The researchers looked at 60 studies from around the world, with data spanning hundreds of years.
They report a “substantial” correlation between climate and conflict. Their examples include an increase in domestic violence in India during recent droughts, and a spike in assaults, rapes and murders during heat waves in the US. The report also suggests rising temperatures correlated with larger conflicts, including ethnic clashes in Europe and civil wars in Africa. So, once again, it all boils down to climate change. It’s all scientific. We must stop the climate from changing.  It is amazing how idiots find casual relationships and define it as credible science.  Hey, that does not bother radicalized people!

MSNBC host says newborn infants don't count as 'alive' unless parents decide they do
Today Natural News denounces Melissa Harris-Perry, the latest talking head "death worshipper" to publicly imply that she supports the murder of living, breathing newborn children. According to Harris-Perry, life begins when the parents feel like life begins. And together with some twisted new "ethics" arguments from the radical left, this can include months or years after a child is born. That's why I need to premise this article with a disclaimer: This article is not about abortion. It's about the murder of children after they are born. Because once a child is born alive, terminating that life is no longer a "choice" … it's murder by every legal and moral standard. Because while abortion friends and foes can argue about when life begins in the womb, no one disagrees that a child born alive is, well, ALIVE… do they?
Indeed, they do. MSNBC talking head Melissa Harris-Perry insists that life only begins when the parents have a "feeling" that it begins. "When does life begin? I submit the answer depends an awful lot on the feeling of the parents. A powerful feeling — but not science," Harris-Perry said to nationwide astonishment on her July 21 MSNBC show. And in one stroke, she simultaneously condones the murder of newborn infants (i.e. "post-birth abortion") while attacking the science of biology which unambiguously states that a living, breathing infant with a heartbeat and brain function is alive, not dead.

But don't tell that to the radical abortion whackos. Far beyond arguing for the "right" to abort a baby in the first or second trimester, many abortion advocates who run in the same circles as Melissa Harris-Perry are now publicly arguing that it is okay for parents to kill their children up to age three. This is now being promoted as a "post-birth abortion."
