A Call To Be Offensive  - Jonathon Dunne
THE WORLD IS AT WAR. No, I am not talking about the “War on Terror” or the “Arab Spring” or any other dispute on going right now. I am talking about the war no one is talking about, a war so deadly that it affects your daily lives. However it is run in a very silent way in the hope that by the time you realize what’s happened, it will be too late to do anything. So what is this war?  Its name has many forms including liberalism, progressivism, statism, socialism and communism. These are all fatal because they seek not only to de-humanise the individual but also to place power into the hands of the few. I have a few examples (please don’t get caught up on the issues) I would like to share with you:
Example 1
My boss recently released a video discussing gay marriage and the ruling in the Supreme Court. This was her first video on this subject because as she put it “it’s a touchy subject and she hates offending people”. There is an old saying – there are two sides to every story. However today if you do not support gay marriage you are demonized and called every name possible. Can people no longer have different opinions?  Why is it ok for gays or any other section of society to take a religious term, says it’s immoral and wrong, change it to suit themselves and then insist religious people follow their standards?
But when those religious people fight back they are in the wrong? They are attacking a minority…
Example 2
On the 17th June I posted the following on my Face book & Twitter pages “Thank God I am still in America. There are a few nice things about Ireland but when it comes to Obama and the democrats, Ireland truly is a disgrace. It would be a nightmare if I was there right now listening to Irish people talk about how great Obama and his family are…” I received a lot of messages from Irish people on Twitter and from friends and family saying how dare I be critical of Ireland and that I should be ashamed of myself. What makes them right to love him, but me wrong to dislike him? Where is this written? Also we are imperfect human beings, should we not point out when things are wrong? Can we not acknowledge both the right and wrong issues in daily life?
Example 3
Recently the St Louis Cardinals removed both a symbol of a cross and the number 6 that was etched into the pitcher’s mound because one person found it offensive and complained. REALLY? This is disturbing for two reasons.
Firstly the cross, a small symbol etched into dirt – Are you really telling me you found that offensive? It was so small this guy never noticed it (It has been there all season) until now. So hardly in your face!!! Busch Stadium has a capacity of 43,975 and ONE found it offensive and it is gone. Minority Rule Where is the line? It started a few years ago with religious symbols and in particular the season of Christmas to which we cannot now refer to as Happy Christmas but happy holidays, but now it seems any symbol in somebody’s eye resembles a religious symbol and it causes offense.  How come it’s only against Christian values. How come there is great welcome worldwide to the news that Ramadan is going to be announced daily on both UK T.V. and the internet along with President Obama celebrating it conclusion, why are Christians not objecting to that? Do you really think these individuals will stop there in their persecution of Christians? It appears to be the Christian bashing era. These are just a few examples of this disease, but I could have given many MANY more. So what should we do? Firstly you have to realize the people behind this are at WAR with us and will stop at nothing until everybody’s way of life is THEIR way – the way they see fit, it’s their way or the highway – Americans might be more familiar with the term “fundamental transformation”.
Secondly you can fight back in your personal position and endeavor to shape society as you see fit and also call on people to act when you see B.S. Each and every one of us have a truly unique weapon and that is your ability to not only share stories like these but also to inspire others to get involved.  However in the last example you have the power of the purse – if you see an incident such as this and it disturbs you, you can act by writing to the organization involved and say you are no longer going to attend games or watch TV coverage until the cross and number 6 are reinstated in the mound.
This is not a war facing one or two countries,  IT IS A World War, however yet again (rightly or wrongly), the World NEEDS America to not only take the lead and force a blow in this war but to also show other countries the way. The only answer to this disease of Tyranny is liberty and freedom. Other countries could and can try but they don’t understand pure and true freedom along with inalienable rights, but the great American people not only know them, they have showed these qualities not only at your founding, but every day since and you need to do it again. I truly hope you not only get involved in this war but convince others to, but I will leave you with the words of the Great Ronald Reagan If not you, WHO? If not now, WHEN?

Who Is Racist? Progress in race relations isn’t achieved by having minority leaders By Thomas Sowell.
I am so old that I can remember when most of the people promoting race hate were white. Apparently other Americans also recognize that the sources of racism are different today from what they were in the past. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 31 percent of blacks think that most blacks are racists, while 24 percent of blacks think that most whites are racist.
The difference between these percentages is not great, but it is remarkable nevertheless. After all, generations of blacks fought the white racism from which they suffered for so long. If many blacks themselves now think that most other blacks are racist, that is startling.
The moral claims advanced by generations of black leaders — claims that eventually touched the conscience of the nation and turned the tide toward civil rights for all — have now been cheapened by today’s generation of black “leaders,” who act as if it is all just a matter of whose ox is gored. Even in legal cases involving terrible crimes — the O.J. Simpson murder trial or the charges of gang rape against Duke University students — many black “leaders” and their followers have not waited for facts about who was guilty and who was not, but have immediately taken sides based on who was black and who was white. Among whites, according to the same Rasmussen poll, 38 percent consider most blacks racist and 10 percent consider most whites racist. Broken down by politics, the same poll showed that 49 percent of Republicans consider most blacks racist, as do 36 percent of independents and 29 percent of Democrats. Perhaps most disturbing of all, just 29 percent of Americans as a whole think race relations are getting better, while 32 percent think race relations are getting worse. The difference is too close to call, but the fact that it is so close is itself painful — and perhaps a warning sign for where we are heading.
Is this what so many Americans, both black and white, struggled for over the decades and generations? To try to put the curse of racism behind us — only to reach a point where retrogression in race relations now seems at least equally likely as progress?

What went wrong? Perhaps no single factor can be blamed for all the things that went wrong. Insurgent movements of all sorts, in countries around the world, have for centuries soured in the aftermath of their own success. “The revolution betrayed” is a theme that goes back at least as far as 18th-century France. The civil-rights movement in 20th-century America attracted many people who put everything on the line for the sake of fighting against racial oppression. But the eventual success of that movement attracted opportunists and even turned some idealists into opportunists. Over the generations, black leaders have ranged from noble souls to shameless charlatans. After the success of the civil-rights insurgency, the latter have come into their own, gaining money, power, and fame by promoting racial attitudes and actions that are counterproductive to the interests of those they lead. None of this is unique to blacks or to the United States. In various countries and times, leaders of groups that lagged behind, economically and educationally, have taught their followers to blame all their problems on other people — and to hate those other people.

This was the history of anti-Semitic movements in Eastern Europe between the two World Wars, anti-Ibo movements in Nigeria in the 1960s, and anti-Tamil movements that turned Sri Lanka from a peaceful nation into a scene of lethal mob violence and then decades-long civil war, both marked by unspeakable atrocities. Groups that rose from poverty to prosperity seldom did so by having their own racial or ethnic leaders to follow. While most Americans can easily name a number of black leaders, current or past, how many can name Asian-American ethnic leaders or Jewish ethnic leaders?
The time is long overdue to stop looking for progress through racial or ethnic leaders. Such leaders have too many incentives to promote polarizing attitudes and actions that are counterproductive for minorities and disastrous for the country.

Unhinged! Crowd wears diapers to fling poo  By Chelsea Schilling and John Griffing
Attempt to assault with urine, tampons, maxi-pads, bricks, flashing private parts
(Warning: This article contains details of antics and statements by pro-abortion activists that may disturb some readers.)
Texas police have confiscated numerous jars of feces and urine, paint, tampons, maxi-pads and even bricks that pro-abortion activists had planned to throw at pro-life lawmakers who are preparing to pass a late-term abortion ban in the state, according to reports. The protesters have littered the state Capitol building with orange papers shaped like footprints that state, “Maternal death from illegal abortion.”
“Stand with Texas Women” protesters have been spotted wearing diapers filled with toilet paper they presumably intended to throw at members of the Senate. Several witnesses confirmed that toilet paper disappeared from most women’s restrooms at the Capitol, and pro-abortion activists were seen stuffing bags with tampons, fecal matter, urine  and other items.  The Texas Department of Safety was contacted with the information, and has since been performing searches of all bags and other containers, forming large lines outside of the State Senate chamber with trash cans. The department issued a statement Friday about the items it had confiscated from the protesters:
“The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today received information that individuals planned to use a variety of items or props to disrupt legislative proceedings at the Texas Capitol. Therefore for safety purposes, DPS recommended to the Texas Senate that all bags be inspected prior to allowing individuals to enter the Senate gallery, which the Texas Senate authorized. During these inspections, DPS officers have thus far discovered one jar suspected to contain urine, 18 jars suspected to contain feces, and three bottles suspected to contain paint. All of these items – as well as significant quantities of feminine hygiene products, glitter and confetti possessed by individuals – were required to be discarded; otherwise those individuals were denied entry into the gallery."

When the state Senate prepared to cast its vote on the late-term abortion ban, LifeNews reported pro-abortion mobs planned to throw tampons and pads at pro-life legislators. The protesters also threatened to “flash their lady parts” at lawmakers, according to Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood abortion business director. Some shouted, “F— the church!” WND has also been informed that many of the pro-choice protesters are from other states.
For conservatives and Christians alike, is it not time to be on the offensive?  Are YOU going to let people capable of such radical behavior guide the conversation in your country?  Are they setting an example for the youth of this nation or the world how our system of government works?  Or how you believe it should work.  Cut past and share this ugly story with your friends.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid Admits Senate-Passed Amnesty Bill Is Unconstitutional by Tim Brown
Texas Congressman Steve Stockman announced on Thursday that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is now refusing to transmit to the House of Representatives the amnesty bill, which the Senate voted on and passed two weeks ago. According to Stockman he believes Reid fears it will be returned to the Senate on a “blue slip” resolution, which he threatened to use to kill the bill in the House.
Even Harry Reid now admits the Senate’s amnesty bill is unconstitutional and cannot become law.  Any bill that raises revenue must start in the House” said Stockman. “By creating their own amnesty taxes Senate Democrats broke the rules. Senate Democrats were so hell-bent on ramming through a gift to radical political activists they didn’t bother to check if it was even legal.”
“They got caught trying to sneak an illegal bill past the Constitution’s borders,” said Stockman. A blue slip” is a resolution that automatically returns to the Senate any bill that violates the “origination clause” of the United States Constitution.  The origination clause states “All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives.”  The name comes from the blue paper the resolution is traditionally printed on. Blue slip resolutions are immediately considered as a matter of constitutional privilege, are debatable for an hour and are not subject to amendment. According to Stockman’s press release, “Section 2102 of the amnesty bill requires the payment of certain taxes and forgives the payment of other taxes as a condition of receiving amnesty and other benefits. The Congressional Budget Office analysis of S. 744, dated June 18, 2013, on page 44 states, in part, that ‘enacting S. 744 would have a wide range of effects on federal revenues, including changes in collections of income and payroll taxes, certain visa fees that are classified as revenues, and various fines and penalties. Taken together, those effects would increase revenues by $459 billion over the 2014-2023 period, according to estimates by JCT and CBO.’”  Well isn’t that special? So now if we were wondering why Boehner isn’t killing the bill, perhaps this is the reason. Was the Senate bill a test to see if they can get it through and to put more pressure on Republicans in the House to compromise America’s economy and security to appease Socialist Democrats? Time will tell.
[Time to be offensive - Democratic Senate knowingly passing an unconstitutional bill hoping no one would notice!]

Obama Wants to Free the Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood
Obama’s international approach seems as though it’s an experiment to see just how destructive foreign policy can become. Essentially every pillar of his foreign policy is wrong. He’s bombing little girls in one country while arming terrorists in another. He ignored the cries for help from Americans in Benghazi while they were murdered. In the end, he has blood on his hands, along with Hillary Clinton, and now John Kerry. The latest series of insanity comes with Egypt. The revolution in 2011 established the Muslim Brotherhood as the reigning party. However, due to economic reasons and severe oppression, the opposition finally overthrew them – in the middle of Obama’s attempts to prop up the brotherhood. Remember, the US is still arming the Egyptian military. We also armed the Muslim Brotherhood and the regime before. This is the foreign policy of the United States: spend billions first, arm radicals second, and ask questions later.
