A Journey To Financial Freedom And Health: “The Web Of Debt”
I
think most of us would agree that the level of personal freedom and
self-determination we realize in our lives is dependent on the degree to
which we understand the world we live in.
If we want to control our physical environment we need to understand the laws of physics. For example, imagine how different our lives would be if we did not understand how to start fire . We would have to wait for a lightening strike or other natural occurrence of fire, then carefully hoard and protect the precious “commodity”, fire. In many parts of the world, our very survival would depend on hoarding this precious “commodity” that we now take for granted because we understand the science of creating fire.
In order to have control over and any degree of empowerment when it comes to health, again we need true understanding and knowledge.
The same holds true in the area of finance. I have been a student of finance and currency systems for more than 2 decades. Until recently I thought I understood how these systems worked.
I recently read a very special book and was shocked to find out that most of what I thought I knew about our currency and financial systems was simply not true!
This was shocking! For me, it was like learning that the basic laws of physics that I have lived by all my life were, in fact, carefully crafted deceptions that had been pounded into my head since early childhood.
Here’s just one example of the major myths that this book blew away for me: I thought that our Federal Government issued our currency. I’m guessing that you most likely think so, too.
That seems all well and good, except for one minor problem: It simply is not true!
In fact, our currency, except for the small amount represented by coins, is issued by private banks, who then loan it to the Federal Government at significant interest.
The banks create money by means of a simple bookkeeping entry. They do this every time they loan money. I’ll bet that if you are still reading this, you are scratching your head and saying, “Huh!”.
Here is the key: “The Web Of Debt” by the very brilliant Ellen Hodgson Brown, J.D. explains how all this works. What’s more, it is so filled with information that is revolutionary, in the truest sense of that word, and is so well written that I about sprained my wrists turning the pages as I read it.
This is the book that really spills the beans – it is everything the secretive powers on Wall Street and in the other financial centers of our world do not want us to know.
As I said, it is revolutionary.
Recall Henry Ford’s statement that if Americans really knew what bankers did there would be a revolution before morning.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I think it is a must read for anyone who truly wants to know how our financial system works, who runs it, what their real agenda is, and perhaps most importantly, what we can do to regain our financial freedom.
Knowledge is power. At present, most of us, even those relatively prosperous, are still at the mercy of the system. This is because we do not really know how it works. If ever we attain that knowledge, we have the potential to break free to true freedom and financial health.
I consider this one of the most important and life-changing books I have ever read. What’s more, it is actually fun to read. Despite dealing with potentially “dark” material, because Ms. Brown, includes practical solutions that could make the system far more nurturing of all that is good in humanity, and far more just, I actually found this book to be uplifting.
I give this book my highest recommendation. Web of Debt: The Shocking Truth About Our Money System and How We Can Break Free
