Brokaw: U.S. partly to blame for Boston terror
Veteran NBC anchor attempts moral equivalency in Marathon Massacre. Former NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw strongly suggested Sunday that America is partly to blame for the gruesome terrorists attacks in Boston, because the young, Muslim men involved may have felt “alienated” and angry over U.S. drone strikes on “innocent civilians” in Muslim countries abroad. Brokaw, who has been playing the role of media elder statesman since retiring, went on NBC’s “Meet the Press” with host David Gregory to discuss last week’s Boston bombings, which killed three and injured 183. “There are a couple of things to remember here, David, I think for all of us,” Brokaw intoned. “With the death of Osama bin Laden, Islamic rage did not go away. In fact, in some ways it’s more dangerous. This is a perfect example.” He said Americans need to take a hard look at “the roots” of why so many Muslims, including Americanized terrorists like the Tsarnaev brothers in Boston, want to kill them.
There’s a lot that we still need to know about what motivated them, obviously,” Brokaw said, noting the Muslim faith of both bombers. “And the fact is that that Islamic rage is still out there.”
Added Brokaw: “But I think that there’s something else that goes beyond the event that we’ve all been riveted by in the last week. We have to work a lot harder (to understand) a motivation here.
Brokaw, with his claim of elder statesman, looks past the original Jihad against the West that is over 1400 years old.  Check it out.

Middle School Student Suspended, Then Arrested for Wearing an NRA T-Shirt   by Gary North An eighth grader in West Virginia was suspended from school and then arrested for wearing a pro-gun NRA T-shirt. It displays this slogan: “protect your right.” He claims First Amendment protection for Second Amendment rights. So does his lawyer. So, another goofy school decision will wind up in the courts unless the school backs down. This is par for the course. The school prohibits apparel that depicts violence. The principal thinks the image of a gun broke the rule. The rule says this:
“A student will not dress or groom in a manner that disrupts the educational process or is detrimental to the health, safety or welfare of others. A student will not dress in a manner that is distractive or indecent, to the extent that it interferes with the teaching and learning process, including wearing any apparel that displays or promotes any drug-, alcohol- or tobacco-related product that is prohibited in school buildings, on school grounds, in school-leased or owned vehicles, and at all school-affiliated functions.”
Would this have been enforced if the shirt had said “no more violence,” with this image?

Obama’s former DHS Nominee: Boston Bombers Are “Not Terrorists”
Philip Mudd, former counterterror expert for the CIA and the FBI, joined Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday to discuss the nature of the threat posed by the Tsarnaev brothers and any network they may have been associated with in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings. He said the Boston attack reminded him more of the 1999 attack on Columbine than a terror event orchestrated by a foreign network. “I would charge these guys as murders not terrorists,” Mudd said of the suspects in the attack on the Boston Marathon.  With NO information to support murder or terrorism, this idiot biases the public debate.

Americans Want More Guns!
Contrary to what the angry and petulant Obama claimed after his gun-control measures were shot down in the Senate, most Americans believe having a gun in the home makes the home a safer place.
President Obama and Veep Biden have been asserting that 90% of US citizens want stricter gun control laws, however, an ABC Poll proves quite the opposite to be true. Since 2000, the public opinion has dramatically reversed itself. And if gun owners are questioned, the positive response is 75%. Based on these latest findings, it’s evident more Americans want more guns in homes for protection. And perhaps a sign out front declaring the house a gun-filled rather than gun-free zone?

"We are firmly convinced, and we act on that conviction, that with nations as with individuals our interests soundly calculated will ever be found inseparable from our moral duties, and history bears witness to the fact that a just nation is trusted on its word when recourse is had to armaments and wars to bridle others."
--Thomas Jefferson, Second Inaugural Address, 1805

The sordid evil that is the ACLU
The American Civil Liberties Union launched a war on God almost a century ago, and the sudden advancement of secularism it spawned now threatens to stifle public expressions of faith and ultimately quash the constitutional freedoms upon which our nation was founded. That’s the premise of “Bad Samaritans: The ACLU’s Relentless Campaign to Erase Faith from the Public Square,” the latest work from best-selling author and WND senior staff writer Dr. Jerome Corsi. Corsi said the book comes at a critical time when secularism is running rampant, and Americans must decide whether we will succumb to the onslaught or fight to preserve the religious freedom that made this country great. “I think we’re reaching a critical time, and certainly the Obama administration is speeding it up, of having the secularization of America. I think we’re reaching critical points on the attack on God and the attack on the family,” Corsi said. “Today, it’s very difficult to practice Judeo-Christian beliefs in public school or the public square.” He added, “The ACLU is not only pressing same-sex marriage. They’re now supporting pedophilia in the courts. In California, you’ve got attacks to remove the tax-exempt status of the Boy Scouts because they won’t allow gay scoutmasters. If the Supreme Court decides same-sex marriage cases, are churches where pastors, for biblical or scriptural reasons, want to oppose various sexual practices, are they going to be accused of hate crimes or lose their tax-exempt status? We’ve got a real attack going on in the United States on God and on the the family.”

White House Link to Illegal Taping of Sen. Mitch McConnell by Dave Jolly
I still recall the news and controversy that surrounded the Watergate affair that resulted in the resignation of President Richard Nixon.  The nation’s media was all over the illegal break in by Republicans and the subsequent cover up that lead all the way to the Oval Office. It seems we now have a similar incident, only the liberal mainstream media is pretty much downplaying it because this time it was Democrats that broke the law.   Therefore, it’s no big deal since, well, the nation’s top Democrat breaks the law every day, doesn’t he? On December 5, 2012, a number of Democrats attended a meeting at the White House. Among those in attendance was Barack Obama’s chief campaign fundraise Matthew Barzun from Kentucky.  Barzun wasn’t the only Kentucky Democrat that attended the White House meeting, so did Shawn Reilly.  Reilly signed in on the White House visitor’s log as part of the same group as Barzun, at the same time as Barzun, and was listed as attending a meeting in the same room as Barzun.  A few days after the White House meeting, Reilly began his attacks on KY Sen. Mitch McConnell, who also happens to be the Senate Minority Leader.  He made no secret that his goal and the goal of his liberal leftist political action committee, Progress Kentucky, was to replace McConnell in the US Senate with a liberal Democrat.  At the time, actress Ashley Judd had been indicating that she would run against McConnell, but when other information on her began to surface, the DNC started withdrawing their support and the last I heard, she has decided not to run for office.

New York Times: Gosnell Trial Inconsequential
For The New York Times, editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal penned an apologia for the progressive media’s disinterest in covering the abortion trial of Kermit Gosnell and essentially claimed that the trial is a meaningless incident when all things are considered, especially when it comes to the overall abortion debate. “What does the trial of a Philadelphia doctor who is accused of performing illegal late-term abortions by inducing labor and then killing viable fetuses have to do with the debate over legal abortion,” Rosenthal writes.  It means that your fanatical support has completely distorted your view of life and you deserve to continue to lose your reading audience!

The Now Free Saudi ‘Person of Interest’ Has 6 Saudi ‘Terrorists’ in Family,5 More Are in Gitmo
Confirmation that Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi, the Saudi national and initial “person of interest,” is indeed being deported this week now is spreading across the Internet. More details are emerging this weekend as Arabic sources and Saudi papers themselves are confirming “rumors” swirling in the US. (more at bottom). Moreover, the Saudi papers are detailing the visit by the Obamas, especially Michelle to the hospital and this man. The “rumors” of the President meeting with Saudi officials in the hospital just prior to his “approved deportation” is a bragging right in their press. More notable is the assertions that Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi is free and clear of terrorist ties, when in fact over 10 names from his clan are already linked to Al-Qaeda. Many from Al-Harbi’s clan are entrenched in terrorism and are members of Al-Qaeda as identified by the Islamic governments.
