100% of the UK was under water
At a time called ‘Late Cretaceous’, 80%–90% of the present UK land did not exist. Geological maps indicate that 100% of the UK was under water at this time. Further, evidence based on river flows shows that this submergence was recent. Geologist Dr John Matthews sets out this remarkable research in the latest Journal of Creation 27(1). Matthews notes that geology, as currently taught in schools, colleges and universities, knows nothing of (or at any rate does not mention) the Noachian Flood. Yet, the Bible records that the whole world was submerged under water recently (thousands, not millions, of years ago). And Matthews reveals the remarkable fact that the evidence in the rocks of the UK is consistent with this event. Our universities are causing a crisis of faith for our young people.

According to Matthews, the problem is that text books and journals on geology universally reiterate uniformitarianism (the assumption that the present is the key to the past) as being a necessary and sufficient way of studying geology. Matthews says that this philosophy causes uniformitarian geologists to miss the evidence for the Flood, because uniformitarianism by definition sidelines biblical history. Using the wealth of geological information readily available for the UK, Matthews shows how the geological evidence for inundation has been documented but its significance has been missed. Beginning with England’s highest peak, Sca Fell, in the Lake District, Matthews explains that, although the current consensus favours the notion that the volcanic rocks were deposited subaerially (i.e. exposed to the air), there are a number of lines of compelling evidence that show it actually took place under water.  P.H. (abbreviated for privacy) of Australia started university this year and recently emailed this call for help:
“I am an impressionable first-year Natural Science student. Within my first lectures, Creation and Jesus have already been mocked. I want to do well without compromising my faith. So, I am wondering if Creation Ministries has any books that relate to surviving university in a Godly manner.”1
This confirms what statistics already show: that our universities are causing a crisis of faith for our young people. So, Journal of Creation is a great resource for students, to help protect against this onslaught. You may know of young people who are facing these challenges, and who would appreciate being given their own subscription.

Students Need to Argue Science, Not Memorize It
A professor of science education has a radical idea: teach science through argumentation, because that’s the way scientists do it. If you were bored in science class having to learn a bunch of facts, you might have perked up if your teacher taught it the way Jonathan Osborne recommends: argue a position from available evidence.  PhysOrg introduced its article by saying, “Teaching students how to argue based on available evidence engages them in the scientific process and provides a better idea of how science actually works.” Earth orbits the sun. Microorganisms cause infectious disease. Plants use carbon dioxide to grow. Most of us know these scientific truths from our earliest school days. They’re accepted facts. But astronomers, microbiologists and botanists once fought for these concepts using arguments based on evidence. Science, it seems, arrives at its tenets through argument. Science education should follow suit, says Stanford education Professor Jonathan Osborne. Teachers should help students learn to argue a position from available evidence, he says, helping them learn why we know what we know. In short, Osborne wants students to think about evidence, not just be told conclusions.  “In science, people argue for their ideas, in terms of the evidence that they have,” he said. “There should be more opportunities to look at why some ideas are wrong, as well as what the right ideas are.

Coal, cattle are most damaging to the environment, study says
A United Nations-backed report released Monday says coal-fired power generation in Asia and cattle ranching in South America are the most damaging businesses for the environment, with hidden costs of those activities that exceed the value of their production. The report, “Natural Capital at Risk – The Top 100 Externalities of Business,” says global output of basic goods – from cement and steel processing to agriculture, forestry, fisheries, mining and oil and gas exploration – caused damage totaling $7.3 trillion a year if pollution, water, greenhouse gases and waste were priced to reflect long-term impacts. The study was conducted by a business coalition for the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB). The coalition’s backers include the United Nations, World Bank, businesses and conservation groups. So, what are the facts to support this.  Do you believe there exist methods to collect such information?  Is the information speculative or projection based upon untenable data?  You decided, don't listen to so called "experts".

Post Boston Bombing: Idiocy and Illumination By Pauline Wolak
With purposely gleeful righteous indignation, the blame game began almost immediately yesterday. How disheartening to hear political pundits, talking heads, and media figures offer their opinions as fact. Speculative journalism is the norm these days, though. The words “vet” and “verify” appear to have been stricken from either usage or practice. Chris Matthews made his opinion pretty clear.
Well, Michael, tax day today. That came up. You know, I was thinking of all the iconic events that are being told about today. Of course I knew it was tax day because I got them in. But of course, it’s Patriots Day. It’s also the Boston Marathon. And would you as an expert be thinking domestic at this point? I don’t think tax day means a lot to the Arab world or Islamic world or certainly not to al Qaeda in terms of their world. It doesn’t have iconic significance.
Wolf Blitzer was full of speculation.
”It is a state holiday, in addition to the Boston Marathon. It is a state holiday in Massachusetts today called Patriots Day, and who knows if that has anything at all to deal — to do with these, these twin explosions.”
Michael Moore’s tweets were deemed “cryptic.” Not really.
“2+2=”
“Tax Day. Patriots Day”
“This is the anniversary week of the Columbine massacre, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Virginia Tech massacre, the Bay of Pigs, and Waco.”
It is time to take back the media from the extreme left wingers that willing use any tragedy to further their agenda.  Don't let the poetical theater fool you.  These people do not really care about the slaughter; they only care about leveraging them for their political purposes.

Salon.com Wants Boston Bomber to be White - The new left context; White Privileged
The Liberal media need whites to be guilty of the Boston bombing to further their politically correct idea of the world. Here is an excerpt from Salon.com
“As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.
This has been most obvious in the context of recent mass shootings. In those awful episodes, a religious or ethnic minority group lacking such privilege would likely be collectively slandered and/or targeted with surveillance or profiling (or worse) if some of its individuals comprised most of the mass shooters. However, white male privilege means white men are not collectively denigrated/targeted for those shootings — even though most come at the hands of white dudes. Likewise, in the context of terrorist attacks, such privilege means white non-Islamic terrorists are typically portrayed not as representative of whole groups or ideologies, but as “lone wolf” threats to be dealt with as isolated law enforcement matters. Meanwhile, non-white or developing-world terrorism suspects are often reflexively portrayed as representative of larger conspiracies, ideologies and religions that must be dealt with as systemic threats — the kind potentially requiring everything from law enforcement action to military operations to civil liberties legislation to foreign policy shifts.”

No Left Wing Extremist Groups?
Have you noticed there has been absolutely no speculation of any Left Wing Extremist groups?  That would not fit the left's agenda that homegrpown terrorists are white conservatives.  Oh! No! God forbid it would be one of us (the Left)!  Convenient amnesia or simply keeping with the narrative?  You decide.

Gallup: Only 4% of Americans Think Gun Control is an Important Problem By Michael James
Only 4 percent of Americans think guns and gun control are an important problem facing the country, according to Gallup, and far more Americans are concerned about the economy, unemployment and the federal debt. In its poll from Apr. 4-7,  Gallup surveyed 1,005 adults by telephone and asked, “What do you think is the most important problem facing the country today?”
Respondents answered in the following order:

Economy in general                                      24%
Unemployment/Jobs                                     18%
Dissatisfaction with Government                  16%
Federal budget deficit/Federal debt              11%
Healthcare                                                       6%
Ethical/Moral/Family decline                              5%
Immigration/Illegal aliens                                  4%
Education                                                        4%
Guns/Gun control                                          4%
Situation with North Korea                               4%
Lack of Money                                                3%
Welfare                                                          2%
Lack of respect for each other                         2%
Poverty/Hunger/Homelessness                     2%
Foreign aid/Focus overseas                          2%
Taxes                                                             2%

Despite the Obama administration’s strong push for more gun control legislation, few Americans are concerned about the issue. Further, it shows that Americans know the top four will attend to the rest!!
Gun grabbers: "I think we've got a good chance of seeing [gun control] pass if members of Congress are listening to the American people. The notion that Congress would defy the overwhelming instinct of the American people after what we saw happen in Newtown, I think, is unimaginable." --Barack Obama

Two of America’s Most Hated Groups React to Boston Marathon Bombings on Twitter
In the wake of the bombings at the Boston Marathon, two groups at odds on practically every issue, predictably took to Twitter seemingly to advance organizational agendas. The international hacking group Anonymous first attacked America. It then blamed the police for the interruption in cell phone services shortly after the attack took place. Without even a nod to humanity, the Westboro Baptist Church, famous for never letting a tragedy go to waste, and for blaming every tragedy on the existence and tolerance of gays and lesbians in America, took to Twitter to spew hate. Then it predictably threatened to picket funerals of victims of the tragedy.  It dismissed the importance of one of the victims being a child. And it summed up its day with disturbing bravado. The church has made a name for itself by trying to picket funerals of American soldiers, victims of the shootings in an Aurora, CO movie theatre and victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary shootings in Newtown, CT, among many others. You are witnessing in your lifetime a threatening coarsening of our society.  Sad, very sad.

Boston Marathon Bombing Blamed On Sequester By House Minority Whip by Tim Brown
More from the idiots on the Left.  House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) decided to politicize the bombings that took place at the Boston Marathon on Monday, saying that they were “proof” that some of the sequester cuts were “irrational.” We should have known that this would be forthcoming from a Democrat’s lips and so we are not shocked, but we are most assuredly sickened by Hoyer’s comments. Hoyer claimed that the bombings demonstrate “why having the ability to dress security concerns is important” and then tied that with cutting off sequestration. He went on to elaborate when asked by a reporter whether or not the attacks on Monday actually makes an argument that should be directed towards sequestration. He said, “I think there are multiple reasons for ensuring that we invest in our security — both domestic and international security. That we invest in the education of our children. That we invest in growing jobs in America. And don’t pursue an irrational, across-the-board policy of cutting the highest priorities and the lowest priorities essentially the same percentage…. I think this is another proof of that — if proof is needed, which I don’t think frankly it is.”  “I doubt that [sequestration's] having any impact presently,” he added, “and the reason for that, this is a priority item and I’m sure they’re shifting what resources are necessary. Even if they’re shorter resources than they otherwise would’ve had, I’m sure they’re putting all the resources necessary on this effort. Certainly at the federal level — I think the President’s made that pretty clear.”  Well I think Mr. Hoyer must have a problem, like Barack Obama does in remembering that sequestration was Obama’s idea in the first place and second, that Obama continues to spend millions almost every month on vacations and wasteful government projects, instead of redirecting the funds to cover things he claims are more important. However, we all know what this is about. It’s the political grandstanding that Democrats so often do at the expense of a tragedy. After all, they follow in the footsteps of Rahm Emanuel who declared, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” This is exactly what Hoyer is trying to capitalize on, just like the Socialist Democrats did to push gun control following the shootings in Newtown, Connecticut.

Sen. Warren Praises an 'Actively Involved' Obama; No Mention of Boston Victims By Susan Jones
More idiotic grandstanding by the Left.  The first words out of Sen. Elizabeth Warren's mouth at a Tuesday morning press conference in Boston were praise for her fellow Democrat, President Barack Obama. "The President of the United States has pledged his full support in all efforts to keep the city safe and to find the person who did this and bring them  to justice. We did not have to reach out to the president. The president reached out to us," Warren said at the news conference updating the investigation into the terror attack at the Boston Marathon. "He called the governor, he called the mayor, he called the members of the (congressional) delegation, because the president is actively involved here and responding." Really?

Gen. Hayden: Boston-Style Attacks May Be ‘The New Normal’ By David A. Patten
The Boston marathon bombing may not represent the work of al-Qaida, but still could be a harbinger of future attacks targeting Americans in their own country, warns Gen. Michael Hayden, the retired four-star general and past director of both the National Security Agency and the CIA.  In an exclusive interview, Hayden said that the attack may be an act of domestic terrorism, or could be the act of an al-Qaida inspired, lone wolf. Either of those scenarios would account for the fact that al-Qaida and its affiliates have yet to claim credit for the two bombs that went off almost simultaneously near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday.  But he said the bombing could foreshadow future attacks on the U.S. homeland, even if al-Qaida was not involved. “As we move into this next phase of this war with al-Qaida,” said Hayden, “and their ability to conduct massive-casualty attacks against iconic targets of the spirit of 9/11, these are probably the kinds of attacks that they would then resort to, in order to try to achieve their objectives.” Among the hallmarks of this new era of terrorism, he said, is that the attacks “are not overly complex, or at least not complex in the way that it requires a massive cell of people to be involved.” Hayden said the ultimate evaluation of the level of sophisticated involved in the bombing will “come down to the weapon, how complex that was, how reliable it was, and whether the reports were true that there were other weapons out there as well.”

Rep. Peter King: Bombings Signal ‘The New War With Al-Qaida’ By William Hoffmann and Todd Beamon
New York Rep. Peter King suggested on Tuesday that the Boston Marathon bombings might indicate “the new war with al-Qaida.” “This may be the new war with al-Qaida: smaller attacks with people who are under the radar screen,” King told Wolf Blitzer on CNN. “Many al-Qaida groups are using Americans with clean records.” In discussing possible scenarios behind the bombings that killed three people and injured more than 170, King, the former chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, suggested that the pressure cooker-devices that investigators discovered in the bombings have been used in al-Qaida attacks in the past. He noted the 2010 attempted bombing in Times Square in New York. “Al-Qaida has been more associated with iconic events, athletic events — lots of carnage, with a lot of innocent people hurt,” King told CNN. He added that “al-Qaida in its literature has been calling for attacks on athletic events.” “Also to say that al-Qaida … that certainly has not been ruled out. It could still be domestic terrorism, it could be al-Qaida, but there’s certainly a lot of evidence indicating it could be al-Qaida.’’

School Teaching Students That Conservatism Wants To Restrict Personal Freedoms
Union Grove, Wisconsin is a small rural community 16 miles west of Racine and 16 miles north of the Illinois border.  It has a population of around 4,300 people who enjoy the small town lifestyle with easy access to the larger nearby towns. One would expect a small rural town like Union Grove would be fairly conservative in many of their personal, religious and political views.  But if you look at the lessons that students at Union Grove schools are being taught, you may be in for a surprise. Tamra Varebrook, a local conservative activist in Union Grove, recently discovered that her 13 year old daughter was being taught politically liberal views in her 8th grade class.  Her daughter came home from school with a crossword puzzle assignment that was part of a lesson plan on liberalism versus conservatism.  Varebrook, being a responsible parent, was reviewing her daughter’s homework when she discovered something that greatly concerned her.  The clue for the word ‘conservatism’ was:
“The political belief of preserving traditional moral values by restricting personal freedoms and encouraging prosperity through economic freedom.” If that isn’t bad enough, the definition for ‘liberalism’ was: “The political belief of equality and personal freedom for everyone, often changing the current system to increase government protection of civil liberties.” On the back side of the crossword puzzle was a political survey asking the students for their opinions on a number of political topics including guns and gun control. Varebrook immediately contacted the school district to complain about the definitions.  She said the school was sympathetic to her concerns and was told that the assignment was wrong and that the teacher feels horrible about it.  School Superintendent Brenda Stevenson issued the following statement:
“At Union Grove Elementary School we have always encouraged parent feedback and have strove to present a balanced curriculum.  We sincerely regret any disapproval associated with this particular assignment.  We will continue to evaluate materials used in the classroom.”
Note that Stevenson says they regret any disapprovals with the assignment, not that they regret what the assignment taught.  I read her statement as saying that they regret being caught teaching the student liberal philosophy.

“Where was God?” A question about the Boston Marathon Bombings Andy Chavarilla
“Where was God?” Maybe this is something you have already heard or been asked about the bombings at the Boston Marathon in Boston, MA. This is a question that I have heard asked not only about this horrific tragedy but also about Aurora, CO and Newtown, CT. It almost seems reasonable to say there is not God at this point right? Why would God allow things like this to happen to innocent people? Why would I put my faith in a God like that? So many are quick in times like this to dismiss God and say they couldn’t do it and relinquish their faith. So if I don’t put my faith in God then where do I put it, in humanity? Let us not forget that God’s message is ultimately a promise of hope, grace and mercy. It is free thinking man that corrupts, murders and destroys. Before I get into more details and encouragement about God and His love and care I want to be clear. This is a time we should come together as a nation and share our cares and concerns.  As a Texas- based writer for YoungPatriots.com, I am pretty far from those affected, however, my heart is with our fellow Americans in the Boston. It is no secret that Young Patriots is a political organization attempting to raise conservative awareness among the younger generation.  However, this is no time for the politics.

This is a time where we see no color; there is no Red or Blue state right now. This is a time where we don’t focus on party; right now we aren’t republican, democrat or libertarians. Right now we just focus on being, American! This is a time where we focus on people, because we care about people.  This is a time when hearts are hurting. As grim as times like these may seem, there is beauty in seeing where we come together; in witnessing why this is the greatest nation on earth.

We must know that God allows things like this to happen not because He wants to. God allows them to happen because we make the wrong decisions and live with their consequences. God rewards righteousness and always punishes wickedness. However, sometimes even the Bible tells us the wicked in this life “prosper” but they still receive their punishment because this life is merely temporal. As a minister I think we have gotten too caught up in the ideal of a feel good, health and wealth message that we dismiss the reality of eternal judgment. I recently read a book by one of my favorite religious writers, Francis Chan called “Erasing Hell.” Chan addresses a topic that many are scared to broach in fear that they will lose followers. Even still the argument Chan makes is that Hell is real; the Bible is clear about it. Not everyone is going to Heaven. Hell isn’t real because God hates people. Hell is real because God is just. To be just, God must punish and not reward the wicked. Sometimes it is easy to feel like God isn’t there and that He doesn’t care about the wickedness that is going on. Still in times like these we must remember, God knows and the wicked will be humbled before Him and they will receive their Justice in this life or the next. Remember the words of the Psalmist, “Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.” (Psalm 1:5-6, ESV).

Times like these are tragic, horrific and emotionally painful.  Hearts are hurting in times like these. It is in moments like these that we need to turn and run to God instead of run away from him. I thank God that we have men and women who serve as law enforcement personnel. They are working diligently to bring to justice those responsible. So as we take a step back and acknowledge the fragile nature of life and just how quickly it can go or be changed, let us take heart and reach out to our fellow man. The world seems dark in times like these but look around and you will see plenty of light. You will see God’s reflection in the form of: policemen, firefighters, EMT’s, doctors, nurses and even just the everyday citizen who helped. More than that, God will be seen in the power of prayer. Many of us that are nowhere close are showing Boston God’s love by showering them with prayers from where we are. Keep the faith and remember God is just. To those affected, if you are reading, my heart and prayers are with you. No matter how bad or hard it seems remember, YOU “Can do all things in Christ who gives you strength!” (Philippians 4:2).

Founding Fathers
"History affords us many instances of the ruin of states, by the prosecution of measures ill suited to the temper and genius of their people. The ordaining of laws in favor of one part of the nation, to the prejudice and oppression of another, is certainly the most erroneous and mistaken policy. An equal dispensation of protection, rights, privileges, and advantages, is what every part is entitled to, and ought to enjoy... These measures never fail to create great and violent jealousies and animosities between the people favored and the people oppressed; whence a total separation of affections, interests, political obligations, and all manner of connections, by which the whole state is weakened." --Benjamin Franklin, Emblematical Representations

"What, sir, is the use of militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty... Whenever Government means to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise an army upon their ruins." --Elbridge Gerry, 1789

"To judge from the history of mankind, we shall be compelled to conclude that the fiery and destructive passions of war reign in the human breast with much more powerful sway than the mild and beneficent sentiments of peace." --Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 34
