Have you been snookered?
1. Slang. a. To
lead (another) into a situation in which all possible choices are undesirable;
trap. b. To fool; duped. Or
in today's world; when you are lead to believe your principles, values and
morals are wrong. Not just wrong, but harmful; you have been
snookered. By whom? By those using "political
correctness" to do so. Have you come to believe it is better to
hide your true beliefs in order to fit in or not cause issues? Snookered?
Have courage! Stand up and be
you. Don't let PC govern who you
are and what you say. I've experienced
informed people speaking PC. When I
became a contrarian and spoke my beliefs people actually stopped and listened
and I was prepared for battle! Then, to my amazement (and pleasure) the people
in the room discovered they were all speaking PC in order NOT to be called out
and found out that NONE believed the PC speak!
So, snookered, you may be
unconsciously or allowing yourself to be controlled by the PC folks that are
not even present! Moreover, what does it say about you? Do you have the courage to speak your beliefs
and morals?

Why Gun Control Now?
Has anyone stopped to ask the question why
the Left has made mass shootings such a priority? Why now? Why not then? What do I mean by then? Mass shootings have been going on in the
United States since 1984. All of them have been horrendous and all of
them have been perpetrated by angry, deranged individuals. Not to mention some of the worst disasters
used bombs and other means to produce massive injuries as well as death.
Given
the "Snookered" theory, I must give heavy consideration it has
nothing to do with "mass shootings". I don't believe it took 29 years
to become outraged and focused on gun control as the answer. I
would submit to you it is a ruse to draw intense focus away from critical
National issues through powerful emotions. We have Benghazi, the Fiscal Cliff, a
National Debt that is akin to a Black Hole, an out of control government that
is meddling in about every part of citizens lives and an administration that
does not give a damn about the Constitution.
Recently we have our boxers and
panties in a twist over gay marriage (another ruse like gun control). I say we are smarter than that and must
tune out the media hysteria and political theater of the left. Demand congress focus on what is critical to
our Nations health and welfare. Gun
control and gay marriage will not matter if the U.S. goes into financial collapse,
trust me and trust yourself!

Pastor at Obama’s Easter Church Service: ‘Captains of the
Religious Right’ Want Blacks ‘in the Back of the Bus,’ Women ‘Back in the
Kitchen’
The
pastor at the Washington, D.C. church where the Obama family celebrated Easter
on Sunday said members of the religious right want blacks “in the back of the
bus,” women “back in the kitchen” and immigrants “back on their side of the
border. It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always
calling us back…for blacks to be back in the back of the bus…for women to be
back in the kitchen…for immigrants to be back on their side of the border,” Rev. Dr. Luis Leon said in his sermon, according to the White House
press pool report. Pastor at church Obama is attending says "Captains of the religious right want
blacks at back of bus, women in the kitchen, gays in closet."
Citing the words of Jesus, Leon said, “You
cannot go back.” The president, first lady Michelle Obama and daughters
Sasha and Malia all attended the service at St. John’s Episcopal Church,
located across the street from the White House. Known as “The Church of the
Presidents,” St. John’s boasts having hosted every president for services since
1816 and has a dedicated pew for the commander in chief. Obama faced controversy during the 2008
presidential campaign over the fiery words of his longtime pastor Rev. Jeremiah
Wright. Rev. Leon made no mention of the Resurrection, Christ or
accepting Christ as Lord.
Christians are neither left or
right, they are believers in the Bible as the Word of God and accept Christ as their Lord and
Savior. Moreover, they follow the
teachings of Christ. Not the ideologies
of the political class!

Is It Time To Administer A Beat Down On Communists,
Islamists, & Fascists? by Tom Wise
“The beatings will now begin!” –
Bill Cosby
Do you
have a sinking feeling? Does it feel like it’s all slipping away? Why? Is it
because the good guys are no longer in control? Yes, that’s why. And why are
the good guys not in control? The answer is very simple. As with Bill Cosby’s
comedy routine, we have permitted the children to run amok. Our enemies are now
running the show. The problem is that we have acted like a patient father and not as a
disciplinarian. The problem is, and
has been for a long time, that we do not administer beat downs. The
problem is that we make a wall of humility behind which we stand. The problem is
that we believe we have honor beyond our enemy. The problem is that we are full
of ourselves. Beat
Down; to fight, to fight back, to resist with vigorous action.
But the problem is
not only our attitudes, it is also our strategy. When we took the Tea Party to
Washington, it was formidable but did very little. It made noise, got some
attention, and then was disparaged beyond repair. Why? At first, the Left was
scared and perplexed. But then, the salvos of insult and marginalization
started. And we did very little about it. Because we felt honored to be
insulted, and we took a high ground. Our
enemies then realized we would not fight back, and would take the sticks and
stones. We therefore lost our efficacy because we became targets instead of
arrows. We lost our power because both our friends and enemies knew we would
moderate. The problem is, like Cosby’s father, our strength and authority were
not respected. They knew we would calm down, even our tone, and be conservative
again. And now, our protests go mostly unnoticed and have little effect.
In November 2010,
we exerted our strongest weapon, the vote. We won the mid-term elections, but the air didn’t stay much in the
balloon, did it? Why not? The House is blocking some evil legislation,
but we are getting stomped. Even when
we win the day, we lose the public relations war. And do you know why?
For the same reason we have lost the Tea Party to incoherency. We are obsessed with being dull-toned and
righteous. We operate out of a misguided sense of patience and disillusioned
amusement. We have a terrible superiority in our good-guy mentality.
Consequently, we do not administer appropriate beat downs. Let me give this medicine straight. We are dealing with radicals. Islamic
radicals, Leftist radicals, anarchists, anti-theists, feminists, “rights”
activists. These people don’t mess around. You can’t reason with them. They are
willing to do whatever it takes to get their way. And they look upon you,
freedom-loving individualists and theists, as dirt. No, I take that back. They
view you as a sub-human species which has seen its day and must be eradicated.

Illegal Border Crossings More than Double Since Amnesty
Talks Started - Close the Boarders, THEN
debate amnesty!
Congress could not punch their way through a
wet paper bag. Solving problems is
beyond the "political class'" capability! Looks like we need a better
fence.
Reports indicate
that since Senator John McCain’s “Gang of Eight” restarted their latest push
for amnesty, illegal border crossing from Mexico to the U.S. have more than
doubled. It appears those entering the country illegally want to be sure they
are here in case a blanket amnesty pronouncement is issued. As
a U.S. Border Patrol Agent who spoke on condition of anonymity made clear, a
number of those entering the country illegally are doing so to escape jail time
or persecution in their own country: “We’ve seen the number of illegal aliens
double, maybe even triple since amnesty talks started happening. [And] a lot of
these people, although not the majority, are criminals or aggravated felons.”
Making matters worse, Border Patrol Agents currently face hour and pay
reductions which Obama is blaming on the sequester cuts he signed into law in
August 2011. This means there is less
and less chance of catching illegal aliens as they cross over.

Democrats Realize Their Leaders are Idiots!
I won’t go as far as calling this an Easter
miracle, but it is noteworthy. The Democrats crafted the rotten Obamacare law,
and then voted for it before they read it all, and now they want to repeal
parts of it. It’s amazing that these idiots managed to continue winning
elections. But I suppose when the media allows them to get away with blaming the
other side for their own failures, anything is possible.
First they said they want to repeal the
medical device tax, now this:
A big political story
this year is likely to be Democrats turning on their White House handlers as the harmful and
unpopular parts of the Affordable Care Act ramp up. On the heels of the recent 79-20
Senate uprising against the 2.3% medical device tax, now comes the surge of
Democrats pleading on behalf of Medicare Advantage.
Liberals have claimed for years to hate this program, but by now
Advantage provides private insurance coverage to more than one of four seniors.
And those seniors like it.

Economist Admits 'Mismatch' Between Greenhouse Gases and
'Not-Rising Temperatures' By: Greg Richter
The Economist has been fairly consistent in
its stand that carbon dioxide emissions from man-made sources are the chief
cause of global warming. But in an editorial this week, it sounds less certain.
Global warming predictions haven’t panned out as predicted in the past decade,
but the why is a bit fuzzy, the magazine admits. Greenhouse gas emissions have
soared during the past 15 years, the magazine notes, with 100 billion tons of
carbon having been added to the atmosphere between 2000 and 2010. Still, both
air and ground temperatures during that time have remained virtually unchanged.
In fact, the editorial notes, surface temperatures have been at the bottom of
the projected range of various models since 2005. If they remain flat, they
will actually begin to fall below projections shortly.
“The mismatch between rising greenhouse-gas emissions and not-rising temperatures is among the biggest puzzles in climate science just now,” The Economist said. But with global temperatures up by almost 1 degree Celsius in the last century, the magazine says, “the puzzle does need explaining.” The Economist posits several theories that might explain why temperatures have leveled off. Among them: a temporary lag between more carbon dioxide and rising temperatures between 2000 and 2010; the rising temperatures in the 1990s might have been an anomaly; or the climate is responding to higher CO2 levels in ways that scientists haven’t understood. If the last possibility is true, the editorial notes, it “could have profound significance both for climate science and for environmental and social policy.” In other words, less drastic action would need to be taken to reduce carbon dioxide emissions than has previously been sought.
But The Economist does not give up on the fact that global warming is happening. Deep ocean temperatures are rising, and may explain where the predicted extra heat is going, the magazine says. Buried deep in the highly technical piece, the magazine admits that evidence suggests something that global warming skeptics have long maintained: Natural variations in the earth’s climate likely play a bigger role than scientific models have said.

Google Ignores Christ — Honors Cesar Chavez — on Easter
by
Greg Richter
Anger arose Easter morning when Google chose
to honor Latino labor leader Cesar Chavez on its search engine rather than the
Christian holiday. Google has long marked holidays and the birthdays of notable
figures by incorporating them into the normally simple logo. But on Sunday two
of those fell on the same day: the 86th anniversary of Chavez’s birth and
Easter, the day Christians celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and
children awaken to see what treats the Easter Bunny has brought them.

Mexican Drug Cartels Operating Inside American Borders
The real terrorists among us are Mexican drug
cartels. Apparently they are no longer an issue that can be dealt with through
Border Patrol Agents. That’s right, they are in our midst. A national security expert who has spent
several years in intelligence gathering operations around the Mexican drug
cartels’ criminal insurgency into the continental United States, “This assassination of DA McClellend and
his wife is meant to send a message: no one is safe, no one is beyond our
reach. We will kill you and your loved ones. We are in control here.” “This is a significant point of escalation in
the crisis,” he continued. “This type of high-profile targeting of
public officials is a classic insurgent tactic. Its escalating use inside the
US shows a complete lack of fear of consequences and demonstrates the
fundamental shift in the strategic landscape that has already occurred. The
criminal insurgencies and their gang foot soldiers have exported the type of
warfare that brought Mexico to its knees deep into our sovereign territory.
They are waging a war: targeting, assassinating, using terror tactics—and our
law enforcement is outgunned and overwhelmed.”

Obama's signing of Monsanto Protection Act proves he will
betray progressives too by Mike Adams
The internet has erupted into a fury over
Obama's signing of the so-called "Monsanto
Protection Act," a rider to a federal appropriations bill
that hands Monsanto the power to nullify the decisions of federal courts. If
the courts decide that a genetically engineered crop is dangerous to the public
or the environment, it can no longer order Monsanto (or any other company) to
stop planting the crops. Instead, the law mandates the Secretary of
Agriculture to issue permits and deregulation orders that allow the
"continued cultivation, commercialization and other specifically
enumerated activities" even if a crop is deemed to be causing a plague or
unleashing dangerous genetic pollution.
The actual language of the bill is barely-recognizable lawyerspeak,
of course, but it's not difficult to see how it will be interpreted by a
federal government which routinely conspires with Monsanto and the biotech
industry to sneak GMOs into the food supply.

"If our country, when pressed with
wrongs at the point of the bayonet, had been governed by its heads instead of
its hearts, where should we have been now? Hanging on a gallows as high as
Haman's." --Thomas
Jefferson, letter to Maria Cosway, 1786
"I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep forever: that, considering numbers, nature, and natural means only, a revolution of the wheel of fortune, an exchange of situation, is among possible events: that it may become probable by supernatural interference! The Almighty has no attribute which can take side with us in such a contest." --Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 18, 1782
"The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the departments in one, and thus to create whatever the form of government, a real despotism. A just estimate of that love of power, and proneness to abuse it, which predominates in the human heart is sufficient to satisfy us of the truth of this position."
--George Washington, Farewell Address,
1796
