Have you been snookered?
1. Slang. a. To
lead (another) into a situation in which all possible choices are undesirable;
trap. b. To fool; duped. Or
in today's world; when you are lead to believe your principles, values and
morals are wrong. Not just wrong, but harmful; you have been
snookered. By whom? By those using "political
correctness" to do so. Have you come to believe it is better to
hide your true beliefs in order to fit in or not cause issues? Snookered?
Have courage! Stand up and be
you. Don't let PC govern who you
are and what you say. I've experienced
informed people speaking PC. When I
became a contrarian and spoke my beliefs people actually stopped and listened
and I was prepared for battle! Then, to my amazement (and pleasure) the people
in the room discovered they were all speaking PC in order NOT to be called out
and found out that NONE believed the PC speak!
So, snookered, you may be unconsciously
or allowing yourself to be controlled by the PC folks that are not even present! Moreover, what does it say about you? Do you have the courage to speak your beliefs
and morals?
