When did
people/small businesses making $250,000/year become the targets?
All we have heard
by the left is the same old phrase: "The rich need to pay their fare
share!" While never saying what a
fair share is. The other belabored
phrase is "....millionaires and billionaires..." Here in lies the question; how does $250k fit
the "millionaire, billionaire" context? Everyone including the administration and
Democrats know what we all know the upper end of
earned income individuals already pay a highly disproportion of the taxes in
the U.S. So what are we to
make of all the rhetoric coming out of the White House and the Democrats? Give
it any label you wish. I would
suggest they are very clear about what they are doing and the consequences.
More transfer payments to the government (read taxes a.k.a. redistribution) to
fund a much larger government, greater dependency on the government and less
economic freedom. Further, you must
understand these people truly believe this is good for America! On the other hand, we have a country full of
people that hold close the notion that "what has been will always
be". Not true! Our Republic
based on the Constitution, free markets and liberty have always been under
attack. This is nothing new. What is new is the large number of people
that choose to not educate themselves or are apathetic to what is the harsh
reality of what is going on. 49% of America is vulnerable to a rude awakening from
which they will never recover!
