State Department
preparing for Libya bombshell?
Susan Rice's abrupt withdrawal from consideration for secretary of state,
coupled with suggestions from the State Department that Secretary Hillary
Clinton may not testify as scheduled next week [she now has reportedly
fainted, has a concussion and will not testify for medical reasons], has
stirred speculation that something big is brewing in the Libya terror attack
investigation. "You're starting to see the State Department squirm a
little bit," Rep. Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, said. For the better part
of the last three months, an independent board has been conducting a review for
the State Department of the Sept. 11 terror attack in Benghazi. In anticipation
of the report's conclusion, two congressional committees scheduled hearings for
next week in which Clinton was set to testify. State Department
spokeswoman Victoria Nuland, though, surprised lawmakers and reporters on
Thursday when she indicated the report, and the secretary, might not be
ready. "The Hill has talked about a planning date on the calendar.
That presumes that the (report) is finished," Nuland said. "I don't
have any dates, any schedule of the secretary's to announce
here." Asked whether Clinton has committed to testify, Nuland said
"it's dependent on the work being finished."

Gingrich to Obama:
'Bring Back Colin Powell' By Greg McDonald
Former House
Speaker Newt Gingrich says President Barack Obama should nominate Colin Powell
as secretary of state as a "bipartisan" gesture toward mending fences
with Republican senators who rejected
U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice for the post. "I actually think it would not be
a bad idea for President Obama to seriously consider seeing if Colin Powell
would come back out of retirement because Colin did endorse him," Gingrich
told Fox News' Sean Hannity Thursday night. "That might be a bipartisan
step that would move us in a direction of a different kind of dialogue,"
he said, suggesting that Powell's moderate views would serve the country better
than any other possible nominees to succeed outgoing Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton.

Obama: I’m not a
socialist
President Barack Obama on Thursday brushed aside concerns that he favors
socialism, saying in an interview with Univision that his policies are so mainstream
that he would have been considered a moderate Republican in the 1980s. Via the transcript of the interview by Alina
Mayo Azze of “Noticias Univision 23″ in Miami:
AMA: One issue that Cuban-Americans are worried about
is, they believe that you favor a socialist model for our country. Cubans
and Venezuelans especially because of what they have gone through. What do
you think of that?
PBO: I don’t know that there are a lot of Cubans or
Venezuelans, Americans who believe that. The truth of the matter is that my
policies are so mainstream that if I had set the same policies that I had back
in the 1980s, I would be considered a moderate Republican. I mean, what I
believe in is a tax system that is fair. I don’t think government can solve
every problem. I think that we should make sure that we’re helping young people
go to school. We should make sure that our government is building good roads
and bridges and hospitals and airports so that we have a good infrastructure. I
do believe that it makes sense that everyone in America, as rich as this
country is, shouldn’t go bankrupt because someone gets sick, so the things I
believe in are essentially the same things your viewers believe in. [the
plausible lie. It is not what O, it is
the how!]

Obama: I'm a 1980s
Moderate Republican By Sandy
Fitzgerald
The president’s critics claim that his policies, including Obamacare,
bailouts, the stimulus plans, and tax hikes for the wealthy all bear hallmarks
of socialism. Former Republican
presidential candidate Mitt Romney ran a Spanish-language ad in Florida,
linking Obama with notorious dictators Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro. But Obama has worked to stop such criticism,
saying he’s a large believer in the free market. Has he convinced you he is
a moderate Republican with all the things has DONE?

Rasmussen:
Highest-ever Support for Reduced Government Spending By Martin Gould
Nearly three out of
every four voters want Washington to slash spending, according to a new
Rasmussen Reports poll. Overall 73 percent of likely voters believe the federal
government should cut its spending rather than increase it, the survey
reported. Just 18 percent
believe an increase in federal spending is a better solution to the country’s
economic woes. “That’s consistent with earlier data showing that just 19
percent want to see more stimulus spending at this time,” reported Rasmussen. President
Barack Obama is calling for a further $200 billion spending binge in an attempt
to stimulate the economy, believing that will help the country overcome the
fiscal cliff. But the poll shows the American public does not agree.

Tom Monaghan sues
feds over new health care law
DETROIT (AP) — The founder of Domino's Pizza is suing the federal
government over mandatory contraception coverage in the new health care law.
Tom Monaghan, a devout Roman Catholic, says contraception is not health care
and instead is a "gravely immoral" practice. He's a plaintiff in a
lawsuit filed Friday in federal court, along with his Domino's Farms, which
runs an office park near Ann Arbor. Monaghan offers health insurance that
excludes contraception and abortion for employees. The new law requires
employers to offer insurance that includes contraception coverage or risk
fines. Monaghan says the law violates his constitutional rights, and he's
asking a judge to strike down the mandate. The government says the
contraception mandate benefits women and their role in society. There are
similar lawsuits pending across the country.

Steve Forbes:
Nothing Wrong With Kicking Can Down Road By Sandy Fitzgerald and John Bachman
Former presidential hopeful, Steve Forbes said he believes Republicans
would be best served postponing “everything” before passing any laws to avoid
the looming fiscal cliff. “Just say everything stays the same for another
three months, six months because early next year it will be apparent that doing
harm to this economy is not going to be a smart thing to do,” Forbes said
in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV. “The president hopes to ram this
through before the shakiness of the economy becomes evident to the voters.”
Forbes, who is chairman, and editor in chief of Forbes Media, has a new book,
“The Freedom Manifesto,” and is the best-selling author of “The Flat Tax
Revolution: How Capitalism Will Save Us.”

Texas Curriculum Teaching Allah is God Almighty by Giacomo
Several weeks ago I wrote about a new curriculum being used in Texas
schools that defined the Boston
Tea Party as a terrorist act and literally condemned the rebellious actions
of the colonists. The same curriculum goes even further to rewrite
history and destroy America’s foundational Christian roots. The curriculum is
produced by an organization known as CSCOPE who is owned and operated by Texas
Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative (TESCCC). “As of
September 25, 2012, there are 875 active CSCOPE districts. This equates to
approximately 70% of the districts in Texas.”So what else are 70% of the school districts in
Texas teaching your kids? To start with, the curriculum teaches that the Second
Amendment only applies to state run militias and not private citizens. In
other words they are teaching that there is no constitutional right for
Americans to bear or own firearms unless they are part of state operated
militia like the National Guard. Mind you that the US Supreme Court has
ruled in several cases lately that the Second Amendment does apply to every American
citizen. The curriculum also has a
section on Islam where it teaches students a variety of verses from the Quran
including:
“Who Is Allah?” “Allah is the Almighty God.” “Allah alone
is the Creator. He alone deserves our devout love and worship.” The section on Islam also lists verses that malign
other religions and then provides instructions on how to convert to Islam. We no longer
pledge allegiance to country and God. We
do not teach the Christian foundation of early America. We do not teach the
roots of our Constitution. While the left is resolute in driving God out of
every aspect of American life. Question? What are you doing about this?

Are We Creating a
Culture of Moral Misfits? by Gary DeMar
Nothing I write or
say will do anything to comfort the parents of the children who were murdered
by an evil person. The families will were never the same. So what’s to be done?
Liberals say controlling guns is the answer. Controlling alcohol and drugs
haven’t worked. What makes liberals think controlling guns will? Gun ownership
wasn’t a problem 30 years ago. The culture has changed. There are no longer any
social or moral taboos. Anything goes. Isn’t that what young people are taught?
Governments and the libertine culture create a
problem and then promise that given more authority and power they are the ones
to fix it. Our nation has a deep moral problem brought on by a
belligerent secular worldview. And it’s not religious people who caused it.
Yale Law Professor Arthur Allen Leff (1935–1981) put it this way:
“We are never going to get anywhere (assuming for the moment that there
is somewhere to get) in ethical or legal theory unless we finally face the fact
that, in the Psalmist’s words, there is no one like unto the Lord. . . . The
so-called death of God turns out not to have been His funeral; it also
seems to have affected the total elimination of any coherent, or even
more-than-momentarily convincing, ethical or legal system dependent upon final
authoritative, extrasystemic premises.”
Put more simply, with God out of the picture,
“everything is up for grabs.”
In another article,
Leff wrote, “I will put the current situation as sharply as possible: there
is today no way of ‘proving’ that napalming babies is bad except by asserting
it (in a louder and louder voice), or by defining it as so, early in one’s
game, and then later slipping it through, in a whisper, as a conclusion.”
The problem is, our current culture — through the educational system — is
telling young people that they are animals, in some cases, less than animals.
“So genetically we are no different (really) from a worm, a bug, or a
dandelion.” Teach this nonsense long enough, and some people will believe and act
on it. We are simply part of
nature, a product of an evolutionary phenomenon. “Nature, Mr. Allnut, is what we are put in
this world to rise above.” There is good and evil. Evil was loosed Friday. No law or set of laws will rid the earth of
evil. Only God can help us!

Fact: There are 270,000,000 known firearms in the possession of
citizens (likely many more). It is just
as unlikely these can be dealt with effectively as dealing with 12,000,000 illegal aliens. Be careful of what
the talking heads will have you think over the coming months.

Why the Left hates
the Ten Commandments
In book "The
Rule of Love", J. V. Fesko gives an introductory exposition of the Ten
Commandments "The Rule of Love refreshingly sets each of the Ten
Commandments in its historical, covenantal, and redemptive context, then
proceeds to show that each commandment covers a broad range of issues that
convict us as believers of sin and encourage us to flee to Christ who is the
great Law-fulfiller and our complete remedy for all our Law-breaking. This is in direct contradiction to the left
that espouses the value of the collective and the redemptive powers of a central
government. The Commandments negates the
ideology where citizens need a powerful central government to exercise the
necessary control through "laws" that make for a idealistic man
determined secular society. The Ten Commandments places that duty and responsibility
on each and every one of us. Socialist
government ideology would have you belief laws can be "passed" and
enforced that will control human behavior.
As a thinking sentient being, have you or do you know of a law that has
changed any evil or unwanted human behavior?
Did not think so. I often here from the left "....that was
too Christian....." When asked why,
they have no cogent answer. It is what
lies under that statement we find the truth.
The Ten Commandments and Christian values
GET IN THE WAY of what they want to do (anything goes) and to control others.

Michael Moore:

Commerce subcommittee, said Thursday that he wants to “be here one day when
Republicans finally realize that we did the right thing, the world is not

Affordable Care Act.” “I just hope that I will be here one day when Republicans
finally realize that we did the right thing, the world is not coming to an end,

Pallone said in his opening remarks at the hearing on the implementation of
Obamacare’s exchanges and Medicaid expansion.

Former Komen VP:
Planned Parenthood Launches ‘Premeditated Mafia-Style Assault’ Over Grant
Funding By Penny Starr
The former senior vice president for public policy at the Susan G. Komen
for the Cure said Thursday that the charity’s decision to stop awarding grant
funding to Planned Parenthood Federation of America, which led to a media
firestorm and her resignation, was a planned attack by the nation’s largest
abortion provider. “(Komen) was the subject of an unprecedented, premeditated,
Mafia-style assault, all because Susan B. Komen for the Cure tried to do what
was in the best interest of its mission in the fight against breast cancer,”
Karen Handel said in remarks made at the Family Research Council in Washington,
D.C.
Handel, who has written a book about the experience, describes herself as a “somewhat reluctant
soldier in the pro-life fight,” a role she has taken on based on what she now
sees as Planned Parenthood’s hardcore abortion agenda. “Planned
Bullyhood: The Truth about the Planned Parenthood Funding Battle with Susan G.
Komen for the Cure,” details what happened leading up to and over the course of
the 72-hour period from when Komen announced it would not be awarding grants to
some previous recipients, including Planned Parenthood, to the announcement
that it had reversed its decision.

AG Holder in ’95:
Schools Should ‘Brainwash’ People Into Thinking About Guns Differently
Attorney General Eric Holder, a longtime gun-control advocate, said many
years ago that schools should repeat “anti-gun” messages every day. The goal,
he said at the time, was to “brainwash people into thinking about guns in a
vastly different way.” Holder also
called for an informational campaign “to really change the hearts and minds of
people,” particularly young people who are “saturated” with violence by the
media and entertainment industry. “I think too many of our young people, in particular
our young men, are fascinated with guns,” he said. “And what we need to do is
change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and
make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to
carry a gun anymore.” He said changing minds about guns could be done the same
way anti-smoking messages changes minds about cigarettes. Another example where government and the collective is
the answer. Looking past the more
effective teaching of good versus evil. Plenty
of law abiding citizens that understand the difference own guns and would
never consider committing an act of violence!

States With Lower
Taxes Have Better Economies by Philip
Hodges
While liberals on both sides of the aisle think that we can tax and spend
ourselves out of this economic mess, analyses published by the Tax Foundation
and the American Legislative Exchange Council show that states that tax less
also spend less and have better economies than those states that tax more. The Wall
Street Journal reported:
“States that allow taxpayers and employers
to keep more of their earnings are reaping the benefits. States without an
income tax have significantly better growth in private sector GDP (59% versus
42%) over the last 10 years. They increased the number of jobs by 4.9% while
jobs in the rest of the states declined by 2.6%. States without an income tax gained
population (+5.5%) from domestic migration (U.S. residents moving in and out of
states) while all other states as a whole lost 1.3% of population between 2000
and 2009.”
The converse was also true that states that taxed more also spent more
and had worse economies than the rest.

Boehner's Reversal
Opens Door to Major Tax Hikes
The first real movement in the "fiscal cliff" talks began on
Sunday, with Republican House Speaker John Boehner edging slightly closer to
President Barack Obama's key demands as they try to avert the steep tax hikes
and spending cuts set to take effect unless Congress intervenes by Dec. 31. The
Boehner plan would see the top income tax rates rise to 39.6 percent from 36
percent for those with net incomes above $1 million a year, according to a
source familiar with the talks. But Boehner's new positions, on tax rates and
the total amount of new revenue to be included in a deficit-reduction deal,
were still far from those held by Obama. And the two sides have yet to make
headway on tough issues such as entitlements, with the Republicans wanting far
more than Democrats are likely to tolerate in cuts to Medicaid and Medicare,
the government healthcare programs for the poor and seniors. Sources familiar
with the Obama-Boehner talks confirmed that Boehner proposed extending low tax
rates for everyone who has earned less than $1 million, and rates would rise
for wages above that. Obama wants that threshold set at $250,000. Under current
law, the 35 percent top tax rate is scheduled to expire on Jan. 1, and would
automatically go to 39.6 percent - where it was during the Clinton
administration. Boehner also has increased to $1 trillion his figure for total
revenue, compared to Obama's figure of $1.4 trillion. The balance of a 10-year deficit-reduction
plan would come from spending cuts. "Boehner's offer to allow tax rates to go up
for taxpayers earning over $1 million fundamentally transforms fiscal cliff
negotiations," added Sean West, U.S. policy analyst at Eurasia Group, a
political risk consultancy. In a note to
clients, West wrote that it signals, significantly, that Boehner ultimately
believes a deal to avoid the cliff is still possible. "The political
burden is now shifted back to the president, who must be willing to take on his
party in order to get a deal Boehner can ultimately pass. We do not think the
president will overreach: Obama will work with Boehner to get to a
deal." Note
to Boehner: Let the President walk off the cliff and take the blame. Go no further!

Obamacare Gets Stunning Rebuke from 25 States By John O. Edwards
Dec. 14 has come and gone, and President Obama's Patient Protection
and Affordable Care Act — better known as Obamacare — has received a stunning
blow. State governments had until Dec. 14 to decide whether they would
build their own health-insurance exchanges, online services that allow
individuals to purchase private health insurance if it wasn't provided by their
employers. The exchanges now have been rebuked by half the states, which
have refused to participate in this critical component of Obamacare. Their
refusal won't stop exchanges in their states. Under the law, states that don't
create an exchange can have the federal government deal with this expensive
task.
