More White House Cover-Up Lies On Benghazi? by da Tagliare
I caught a clip on the news last night that said the White House is now saying that two units were sent to Benghazi to help but were turned back.  My first reaction is what a pile of bullpuckie! Ever since the attack was first made public, Obama and his gang have continued to stall, hesitate, lie, change the story and then lie, over and over and over again.  And this American is getting sick and tired of it! Like every other piece of ‘official’ information on the attack, they are now saying that two units were dispatched to help but they were both turned away. Do you really believe that?  Was at least one highly trained and armed counter terrorism unit dispatched to Benghazi where they were turned back by the terrorists?  I find that hard to believe.  What I find even harder to believe is that this information has only been released after documentation showing otherwise was made public.  The way Obama and White House have publicly responded to the nation on Benghazi reminds me of a kid who has been caught in a lie by his parents.  Every time the parents ask the kid for the truth, the story changes into another lie.  Then that lie eventually leads to another lie and so forth and so on.  Somewhere down the trail of deception, the kid is ensnared and trapped by his string of lies and he ends up convicting himself.  I only hope that happens sooner with Obama and company and that they are duly punished for their treachery.

The Obama syndrome exposed!
"All see, and most admire, the glare which hovers round the external trappings of elevated office. To me there is nothing in it, beyond the luster which may be reflected from its connection with a power of promoting human felicity." --George Washington, letter to Catherine Macaulay Graham, 1790

Food Stamp Growth 75X Greater than Job Creation
With the latest jobs report, it is now the case that “Under Obama, Food Stamp Growth [Is] 75 Times Greater Than Job Creation,” according to statistics compiled by the Republican side of the Senate Budget Committee. “For Every Person Added to Jobs Rolls Since January 2009, 75 People Added To Food Stamp Rolls.” Since January 2009 a net of 194,000 new jobs have been created. During that same time, 14.7 million have been added to the food stamp rolls.“Simply put, the President’s policies have not produced jobs. During his time in office, 14.7 million people were added to the food stamp rolls. Over that same time, only 194,000 jobs were created—thus 76 people went on food stamps for every one that found a job,” says Senator Jeff Sessions, ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee. “This is a product of low growth. Post-recession economic growth in 2010 was 2.4%, and dropped in 2011 to 1.8%. This year it has dropped again to 1.77%. Few, if any, net jobs will be created with growth of less than 2%.”

Benghazi Personnel Knew They Were Being Watched, Cables Show by Tad Cronn
At least two cables, published by Foreign Policy magazine, show that Ambassador Chris Stevens’ team was aware the U.S. mission in Benghazi was being observed the morning before the attack that killed Stevens and three other Americans. A CIA-issued time line reported on by the Washington Post appears to detail the actions of two teams that included two former SEALs who were among those killed at the mission during the attack, but it does not answer questions about the role of the White House or State Department during the attacks. The time line denies previously published reports that a drone observing the attacks was armed or that an order to abort a missile launch was given. It seems that every bit of information the Administration issues to “set the record straight” just digs the hole deeper. It’s clear, even by what little information has come out of the government, that the story about a YouTube video and mass protests was manufactured from whole cloth. The Administration lied from Day One about the attack in Benghazi in a calculated effort to hide what actually happened. That much could be seen by a blind man, yet the mainstream media are pretending there’s no story here. Conservatives need to do what they can to spread the truth far and wide in the remaining days before the election. Only if Obama loses will there be any hope of getting at the truth.

Barone: Going out on a limb: Romney beats Obama, handily
Fundamentals usually prevail in American elections. That's bad news for Barack Obama. True, Americans want to think well of their presidents and many think it would be bad if Americans were perceived as rejecting the first black president. But it's also true that most voters oppose Obama's major policies and consider unsatisfactory the very sluggish economic recovery -- Friday's jobs report showed an unemployment uptick. Also, both national and target state polls show that independents, voters who don't identify themselves as Democrats or Republicans, break for Romney. That might not matter if Democrats outnumbered Republicans by 39 to 32 percent, as they did in the 2008 exit poll. But just about every indicator suggests that Republicans are more enthusiastic about voting -- and about their candidate -- than they were in 2008, and Democrats are less so. Bottom line: Romney 315, Obama 223. That sounds high for Romney. But he could drop Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and still win the election. Fundamentals.

Won't Vote for the Lesser of Two Evils?
As we rapidly approach Election Day, I've heard a number of my friends say that they just can't vote for the lesser of two evils. They will neither support Obama or Romney for president; instead they'll support a third party candidate or they won't vote. I have a tremendous respect for the zeal and the objectives of some of the alternative parties. Although not in complete agreement with all of their positions, I've been honored to speak at the conventions of the Constitution and the Christian Party in the Tar Heel state. I've lobbied in support of making it easier for third party groups to get on the ballot in North Carolina. I strongly believe that they should continue to make their voices heard and not lose heart. Nevertheless, I do not believe that this is their hour. To vote for a third party candidate this election, except to satisfy one's conscience, will do nothing more than throw the election to one of the candidates of the two major parties. Unfortunately, in such a tight race as this one, I fear it will only help give the election to Obama.

A Nation of Adult-Children? Lefties Hope So.
So, whatever happens next Tuesday, I guess Barack Obama can brag he’s sewn up the kiddies -TV vote — that is, if we’re to trust the results of Nickelodeon’ s 2012 Kids Pick the President online poll. The Washington Post reports: “More than half a million votes were cast … President Obama received 65% of the vote and former Governor Mitt Romney received 35%.” I suppose that’s appropriate: habitués of the political and cultural Left, after all, count on the intellectual and/or emotional childishness of the population; it’s the only thing, frankly, that seals their influence. Liberals assume men and women are to be coddled and supervised like crumb-crunchers; and where folks are not already toddling along pre-pubescent, big-government secularists aim to infantilize them, reducing adults to needy, easily-controlled wards of the state.

President’s Job Council Advisor — Endorses Romney?
Mitt Romney’s White House bid comes down to business experience – i.e. he has it, the president doesn’t.  To that end, the Romney campaign trotted out a roster of well-known business leaders Thursday who are backing the Republican presidential nominee. Supporters include Charles Schwab, Cisco Chief Executive John Chambers and Bernie Marcus, the co-founder of Home Depot. The newest name on the list belongs to Intel CEO Paul Otellini, a member of President Barack Obama’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness.

Be Afraid, Women! Romney’s 1950s-Style Policies Will Kill You! by Chris Graham
The American public has been bombarded with some truly preposterous claims about what a Romney presidency would look like for women, but Jessica Valenti wrote an outright insane article for the Guardian that I think far surpasses anything I’ve heard or read to date. Miss Valenti claims to be a feminist–you know, an independent woman who doesn’t need a man–but the headline of her article belies that claim. “Why American women need Obama,” it is obliviously titled. In the first paragraph, Valenti says that Mitt Romney “barely mask[s] his desire to take women back to the 1950s.” So he masks it, but barely. I suppose the reason I’ve never heard Romney indicate any sort of desire to “take women back” to the 1950s is because he masks it so well…but still barely. The most ludicrous claim of Valenti is that “It’s not hyperbole to say that women’s lives hang in the balance.” Yes, actually, it is hyperbole. Spreading fear of a Romney presidency, the fear that women will be killed under his term, is precisely what hyperbole is, in fact. Valenti supports her claim by correctly saying Romney wants to see Roe v. Wade overturned, something he on his own cannot do. But she leaves out the part about Romney wanting abortion laws to be left up to the states–which is all that would happen should Roe v. Wade ever be overturned. This seeming ignorance on Valenti’s part leads her into crazy land and saying that if abortion is outlawed, women will die because they will just abort the babies themselves, inadvertently bleeding themselves out in the process.

‘Revenge?!’ Obama’s Sick Closing Argument President Obama coined a new campaign catchphrase while speaking in Ohio today. The crowd started booing at the mention of Mitt Romney, to which the President responded, “Don’t boo, vote. Voting is the best revenge!” Revenge for what and from whom? Rips the veneer off "the man who cares"!!

British Hospitals Make Millions Euthanizing Patients
Who says crime doesn’t pay? According to London’s Daily Telegraph, British hospitals are euthanizing patients at ever-increasing rates — and raking in big bucks as a result. Documents obtained by the newspaper under the Freedom of Information Act reveal that nearly two-thirds of National Health Service (NHS) trusts, regional authorities that administer hospitals, “have received millions of pounds for hitting targets related to” the use of the Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP), a controversial end-of-life care program. Developed by a Liverpool hospice to relieve the suffering of terminally ill cancer patients during their final days, the LCP is essentially a death sentence meted out by doctors. A physician who considers a patient to be near death may put the patient on the pathway, after which the patient will be heavily sedated and may have food and water withheld. On average, patients die within 33 hours of being put on the LCP. Use of the LCP has expanded far beyond its creators’ intentions. As The New American reported in June, 29 percent of all patients who die under NHS care are on the LCP, leading British neurologist Patrick Pullicino to declare that the LCP has become an “assisted death pathway rather than a care pathway.”

The choice by Charles Krauthammer
“Ronald Reagan changed the trajectory of America in a way that Richard Nixon did not and in a way that Bill Clinton did not.” That was Barack Obama in 2008. And he was right. Reagan was an ideological inflection point, ending a 50-year liberal ascendancy and beginning a 30-year conservative ascendancy. It is common for one party to take control and enact its ideological agenda. Ascendancy, however, occurs only when the opposition inevitably regains power and then proceeds to accept the basic premises of the preceding revolution.  Thus, Republicans railed for 20 years against the New Deal. Yet when they regained the White House in 1953, they kept the New Deal intact. And when Nixon followed LBJ’s Great Society — liberalism’s second wave — he didn’t repeal it. He actually expanded it. Nixon created the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), gave teeth to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and institutionalized affirmative action — major adornments of contemporary liberalism.
Until Reagan. Ten minutes into his presidency, Reagan declares that “government is not the solution to our problem, government is the problem.” Read the full article here
