Russian
Newspaper: Obama Was Re-Elected by “Illiterate Society”
Russian newspaper Pravda is blaming President
Obama’s re-election on an “illiterate society” who voted for him. Putin in 2009
outlined his strategy for economic success. Alas, poor Obama did the opposite
but nevertheless was re-elected. Bye, bye Miss American Pie. The Communists
have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who
only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President
keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the
Soviet mistake. After Obama was elected in his first term as president the then
Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin gave a speech at the World Economic
Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January of 2009. Ignored by the West as usual,
Putin gave insightful and helpful advice to help the world economy and saying
the world should avoid the Soviet mistake. "Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate
society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises
them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars
as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he
fires or demotes his generals who get in the way."

Progressives:
The State Is My Shepherd, I Shall Not Want By Doug Giles
Psalm
666. A Psalm of Obama
The
State is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
It makes me lie down in federally owned pastures.
It leads me beside quiet waters in banned fishing areas.
It restores my soul through its control.
It guides me in the path of dependency for its namesake.
Even though our nation plunges into the valley of the shadow of debt,
I will fear no evil,
For Barack will be with me.
The Affordable Care Act and food stamps,
They comfort me.
You prepare a table of Michelle Obama approved foods before me in the presence of my Conservative and Libertarian enemies.
You anoint my head with hemp oil;
My government regulated 16-ounce cup overflows.
Surely mediocrity and an entitlement mentality will follow me
All the days of my life,
And I will dwell in a low-rent HUD home forever and ever.
Amen.

Cheating
scandal: Feds say teachers hired stand-in to take their certification tests By Adrian Sainz, The Associated Press
It was a brazen and surprisingly long-lived
scheme, authorities said, to help aspiring public school teachers cheat on the
tests they must pass to prove they are qualified to lead their classrooms.
For 15 years, teachers in three Southern
states paid Clarence Mumford Sr. — himself a longtime educator — to send
someone else to take the tests in their place, authorities said. Each time,
Mumford received a fee of between $1,500 and $3,000 to send one of his test
ringers with fake identification to the Praxis exam. In return, his customers
got a passing grade and began their careers as cheaters, according to federal
prosecutors in Memphis. Authorities say the scheme affected hundreds
— if not thousands — of public school students who ended up being taught by
unqualified instructors.

From Healthcare to Holocaust
- When
Tomorrow is too late!
It all started modestly enough. Hoping to
stem the rising tide of socialism in the late 19th century, German Chancellor
Otto von Bismarck decided to institute a welfare state, the theory being that
finding a middle ground between laissez-faire capitalism and full-blown
socialism would blunt the popularity of the latter without unduly interfering
with the former. Bismarck convinced the Reichstag to create four programs:
accident insurance, old-age pensions, disability insurance, and compulsory
health insurance. The health insurance
bill, passed in 1883, provided for cash payments to those temporarily unable to
work because of illness and in-kind benefits for their medical treatment.
Employers paid one-third of the cost of the program; employees paid the rest.
According to Wikipedia, “The program was considered the least important [of the
four] from Bismarck’s point of view.” But as we shall see, it had perhaps the
most pernicious effects of all.
Darwinism
in Theory and Practice
Around the same time as socialism was on the
ascent, so was another controversial idea: the pseudoscience of eugenics.
Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution, introduced in 1859, posited that
creatures with survival advantages would pass those advantages on to the next
generation, thereby creating stronger and better versions of their kinds. While Darwin was loath to follow his theory
to its logical conclusion — that selective breeding of “superior” humans and
prevention of that of “inferior” ones would aid natural selection in producing
a “master race” — others were not. Indeed, by seemingly obviating the need for
a creator and ultimate lawgiver, Darwin’s theory freed those desiring to
artificially accelerate the process of human evolution from the moral
constraints that might otherwise have stood in their way.

Equipping
Children to Effect Change in the Culture Raising
Polished Cornerstones by David and Elysse Barrett
As we look across the landscape of Christian families and Christian homes, there is one relationship which has been universally forgotten and forsaken -- that of fathers and their daughters. God designed it to be one of the most beautiful and powerful relationships that we can experience. As we seek to see the Godly family restored, we must not ignore the special bond that God creates between every girl and her daddy. David Barrett, and his twenty-one year-old daughter Elysse want to see Christian families be all that God designed for them to be... and it starts with the restoration of a father's heart toward his daughter and a daughter towards her father! (Malachi 4:6. My relationship with my two daughters has been very special to me. I am so proud of their character, wisdom, responsibility and godly virtue. I wish all dads could experience the joy of such a closeness with their daughters. Sadly, this isnt the case in so many homes.

Capitalism,
Socialism and Human Dignity by Tibor Machan
individualism, even ethical egoism. For
centuries the ethical and moral guidelines people have been urged to live by
have been some kind of communitarianism, such as altruism, utilitarianism,
socialism, communism, etc. The individualism associated with capitalism had
been thought as atomistic, seeing people as isolated from and indeed hostile
toward one another. Socialism is the political
economic order that sees human beings as part of a larger entity, society, to
which they are all beholden and which they must serve not of their own free
will but as a matter of coerced duty. The common sense appeal of communal systems as guiding human action
comes from the historical need for collective conduct in the face of threats
from groups that would overpower those who are vulnerable. (F. A. Hayek
makes this point well in his works.) Once
it turned out that individuals who unite of their free will provide better
protection to the group, individualism began to gain support. It is better
suited to human life, with individuals being the source of solutions to most
problems.

College
Fires 400 Full-Time Teachers — ObamaCare Strategy by Gary North
A community college in Pennsylvania has
turned 400 full-time teachers into part-timers. It will save $6 million in
ObamaCare expenses. They had no medical insurance before, but they had
full-time jobs. Now they will have neither. All across America, businesses will
be imitating this school. Marginal workers will be fired or turned into
part-timers. ObamaCare is going to backfire on millions of marginal workers.
For colleges, this is an easy way to save money. Adjunct (part-time) professor
with Ph.D degrees are a dome a dozen in the liberal arts. They have been ever
since the fall of 1969.
The Ph.D. glut only gets worse. The health care delivery system in the USA
has been a government-regulated mess ever since World War I. The government has made it bad. Now it will
get even worse.

The
Left Continues to Revise America’s History by David L. Goetsch
One of the many unfortunate effects of Barack
Obama’s re-election is that it will empower the radical left to continue
revising America’s history. The fastest way to undermine a country is to
undermine its history, and the best place to begin is in the nation’s
classrooms where pliable young minds are easily influenced. This is
precisely what the left has been doing for decades, and with evident
success. The left has made great strides in undermining the family,
taking over the public square, and dominating education at all levels.
But some of its most effective work has been in revising America’s
history. Russian philosopher Alexander Solzhenitzyn said: “To destroy a
people you must first sever their roots.” Patrick Buchanan said: “To create a
‘new people,’ the agents of our cultural revolution must first create a new
history; and that project is well advanced.” UCLA’s
standards for history books for public school children have resulted in the
following:
- No mention in history books of such American luminaries as Samuel Adams, Paul Revere, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, or the Wright Brothers. It is the lives of exceptional Americans such as these, among many other factors, that validate the concept of American exceptionalism. Consequently, to undermine the concept, liberals must remove any reference to exceptional acts and exceptional people in American history.
- The founding dates of the Sierra Club and the National Organization for Women are given special significance. In truth, the only thing that warrants inclusion of these organizations in history books is that they are considered sacred institutions by the left.
- Instructions for teachers concerning how to teach the unit which covers the traitor Alger Hiss and the spies Ethel and Julius Rosenberg encourages leeway to teach the unit either way. In other words, teachers are given the leeway to teach the unit as if Hiss was not a traitor and the Rosenbergs were innocent. This is the same Alger Hiss who was convicted by a jury on the basis of hard evidence, evidence that since his conviction has been validated many times over by further discoveries. These are the same Rosenbergs who gave America’s atom-bomb secrets to Joseph Stalin.
- The Constitutional Convention is not even mentioned. One of the reasons for this is that the deliberations of America’s founders as recorded in numerous documents such as the Federalist Papers as well as those of the anti-federalists are clearly at odds with today’s liberal orthodoxy. The tactic of the left is simple. If the founder’s views do not reinforce those of the left, eliminate any reference to their views in history books.
- George Washington’s presidency is not mentioned nor is his famous farewell address. Rather than learn about the two terms of our country’s first president—two terms in which everything Washington did was precedent setting—students are encouraged to develop an imaginary dialogue between an Indian Leader and General Washington at the end of the Revolutionary War. What students are supposed to learn and how students are supposed to benefit from this hypothetical dialogue is not explained.
- The Soviet Union is commended for its great strides in space exploration, but America’s moon landing is not mentioned.
- Teachers are urged to have students conduct a mock trial for John D. Rockefeller of Standard Oil. No mention is made of the fact that the homes of most of the students are heated by energy derived from petroleum and the gasoline in the cars driven by teachers comes from petroleum.
The new history standards developed by UCLA
have had far-reaching effects. Look
at any history book written for public school students in the K-12 system and
you will be appalled at what is included and what is not. Parents; Are YOU Listening???

Guess
What? “Free” Wellness Checks Don’t Equal “Free” Health Care
How many people voted for Obama’s second term
because they thought Obamacare would kick in and health care would be free?
Sure, after subsidies paid for by their fellow citizens, health insurance may
be “free” for some (and for the rest of us it’s already more expensive), but
it’s still going to cost them. Things like annual well visits are covered with
no co-payment, but suppose someone brings up a new health problem during that
“free” well visit? Dr. Peter Weiss explains that those patients will have to
schedule a new appointment because new problems aren’t covered in well visits
under Obamacare.
"Some patients are asking him to break
the law, but he’s not about to do that. his happened to me personally, as a
patient, when I went for my physical. It is the law. If you are complaining of
a new problem, then you have to reschedule, since Obamacare is very clear as to
what is covered and what is not. Obamacare — intentionally — makes it as
difficult to be seen and taken care of as possible. Patients can be very
tricky. I have had patients make an “annual” exam, only to want to discuss and
be treated for another ailment. I can’t do it. I can hear the complaints from
you guys already — I become the bad guy. “Why don’t you just take care of the
problem, and not bill out any different code? You’re a rich doctor, and we are
entitled to free stuff.” It doesn’t work that way. First, doctors are not rich
and, like most of you, actually work terribly hard for a living. Second,
Obamacare is the law — and as I said earlier, we are audited all the time now.
Also — I don’t ask for free gas when I go to the gas station, or ask for free
food from the supermarket. Additionally, Obamacare has a 23% cut in Medicare
reimbursement to doctors and hospitals."
Anyone
with kids who has taken them to a doctor’s appointment in the last year or so
knows this is already happening. Our kids are asked at every visit things like
what fruits and vegetables they eat and whether or not there are guns in the
house. On the bright side, maybe the law
will be amended to include free or reduced price Skype
visits like they’re doing in the UK. What could the doctors possibly miss
when doing exams through Skype? I say that should be an optional service for
those who don’t feel paying for their own health is their responsibility. Oh,
and if you’re a smoker who thought health care would be free under Obamacare,
think again. You
could be stuck paying 50% higher premiums than your obese diabetic neighbor
unless you enroll in a government approved smoking cessation program.

Republicans Fall Short .28% of Total Electorate in Crucial Swing States
The 2012 election was vindication in many ways for the Democratic President Barack Obama, and Republicans have been sent into a state of despair over the changing direction of the country towards statist collectivism. Although Republicans disappointed by the election results have wrung their hands over demographic shifts and the supposedly insurmountable obstacle of government “gifts” to Democratic constituents, the GOP candidate Mitt Romney actually outperformed 2008 candidate John McCain in many ways. This is hollow solace for those who thought from reading certain polls that a Romney victory was in the cards. But consider that although Mitt Romney’s Get-Out-the-Vote software failed, he still fell short by only 334,000 votes in the key battleground states of Florida, Virgina, Ohio, and New Hampshire. Of the total number who voted, some slightly more than 118 million voters, this vote margin in the swing states represents .28% of the total electorate So, when you here Democrats claim a mandate, you know they are whistling Dixie!

Rubio responded a bit clumsily and noncommittally. Smelling blood and opportunity, the wolf pack bared fangs and chased. Their game is either to force Rubio to affirm a personal belief the earth is 4.5 billion years old—disturbing some of his religious supporters–or to mock and stigmatize him and others who could harbor any delusional uncertainty—damaging him with a different part of the electorate. The snarling pack imposes a totalitarian demand: No matter whether you’re intelligent, you engage the real world, you offer solutions to problems, and you attract and persuade citizens to support your vision and solutions; the pack demands to know if you have any hidden reserves of unsavory, illogical faith. Deny it or be tarred and marginalized.

Obama
Economist: Taxing Junk Food Will Help Prevent Fiscal Cliff by
Philip Hodges
Obama’s former chief economist Larry Summers
thinks that one way to break America’s fall off the over-reported fiscal cliff
is to raise taxes to the level they were under Clinton’s administration.
Echoing Paul Krugman’s 90% tax rate nostalgia and pointing out that it was conservative
icon Ronald Reagan who cut taxes to 50%, he said, “It’s hard to believe that
raising the top tax rate to 39.6 percent — where it was under President Clinton
— will do grievous damage to the economy.” Of course, Reagan also cut the
top tax rate to 28% in his second term, but that’s beside the point. Raising
already existing taxes is only one way to cushion our fall. Summers, a
professor at Obama’s alma mater, is certain that soon we’ll have taxes on
carbon, energy and junk food. In fact,
he was surprised that Americans didn’t yet have a tax on carbon and energy,
considering that carbon and energy usage is directly related to the solar
cycles that affect global temperatures. Or so liberals think. Taxing such
usage will surely convince the sun to alter its behavior so that the average
global temperature will go down a couple degrees and stop all the hurricanes
from ruining everybody’s lives. And if
taxing doesn’t work, just tax more. As for the junk food tax, Summers cited
evidence that tobacco taxes directly correlated to decreases in tobacco-related
deaths. He said that 700,000 fewer deaths per year were reported as a result of
tobacco tax increases. Based on those data, he extrapolated that the same
would happen if we taxed certain junk foods. Since diabetes and obesity are
linked to eating sugary and/or fatty snacks, he reasoned, maybe a tax on those
items would discourage people from buying them, thereby decreasing the number
of people affected by nutrition deficiency diseases. The government can pretend to care about people affected by those
diseases, but raising taxes won’t do much. If they really cared, they’d stop
subsidizing food crops that contribute to obesity and diabetes. Food
companies use those foods not because of popular demand, but because the government makes them literally
dirt cheap. The government dumps
billions of dollars into the production of wheat, corn and soy, from which food
manufacturers derive all sorts of additives, preservatives and super sweeteners
that all contribute to the diseases that Larry Summers pretends to care about.
If the government wants to stop people from smoking, then why does the
government subsidize tobacco? There should be no need to tax it. Just stop subsidizing
it at least.

McConnell:
Senate Gridlock of Past Will Look Like 'Pillow Fights' By
Todd Beamon
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on
Monday charged Democrats with engaging in a “naked power grab” in trying to
make changes to the filibuster. “In the name of efficiency, their plan is to
use a heavy-handed tactic that would poison party relations even more,” the
Kentucky Republican said in a lengthy floor speech on Monday, according to
Politico. “In the name of efficiency, they would prevent the very possibility
of compromise and threaten to make the disputes of the past few years look like
mere pillow fights.” The filibuster, designed to protect the minority party in
the Senate, has become a tool for constant gridlock in modern times. McConnell
said any change to the procedure would fundamentally alter how the Senate
operates.

“Please
